LD53 — Delivery

Carry This by MrTroy 2023-05-03T01:53:52Z

The art style is really cute (although The shadows/floor disappearing based on distance made it a little confusing). The narrative and writing is nice, I laughed with many customers lines. When the text was bigger it was a little hard to read, as they overlay each other. Maybe costumers dialogues could show up a little higher? Surprising ending, and now I want my 10% discount :)

Airborne Adventures by firellon 2023-05-05T22:42:14Z

Really beautiful art. The platforming is really well done, apart from the velocity of fall - it is really slow, which causes an odd sensation - and the lack of a button to get down from the roofs! Great work, this is a great entry!

The Final Delivery by Ranzor 2023-05-04T22:01:51Z

If you try to start a route that costs more than you have, the game crashes and closes - at least on the windows build, and the music stops after about 3 minutes. I like the idea, big fan of strategy games. I took me a while to discover that you can move the camera to the sides/up and down. I couldn't figure out if you can rotate around the system? It you be really cool if possible. It has a lot of potential, but the lack of feedback currently makes it a little confusing. For example, nothing indicates that you can only create a 2-way route after you been to the planet/asteroid, and I really missed some signal that my vessel had arrived to it's destiny so I could decide what to do with it. I got the "You lose, have a cookie" screen once, but couldn't figure out why. I hope you continue to develop it! Really interest to see this idea more polished. Good work!

Delinquent Delivery by JesterSeraph 2023-05-04T21:31:03Z

What a fun short experience. I laughed so much with the sound effects, the "bang" will stay in loop in my mind. The slide jump tho was really difficult - almost gave up because I took me so much to get the correct timing(?). I managed to make it probably by luck and never looked back hahaha. Really nice that the different objects have different weights, and so go further than others, made the game way juicier. Good work!

Maily Melo by Blix 2023-05-06T00:38:03Z

Great art style, audio is also on point. I quite liked the letters and to know a little about the world and the characters. I managed to see how difference characters react to same same letter a couple times (Like the witch letter or the heliocentric discovery to the magician and the priest) and it was nice to see these diferences, Wish i was a little more clear who could probably answer the other ones as well, as to see their reactions and answers. That said, great job! Really enjoyed myself

Neo City Express by Pedro Medeiros 2023-05-03T01:34:53Z

I'm out of words. What an amazing experience. What a game. You literally made magic in 3 days. Wow, for everything. Its polished, it's fun, it has personality Audio is great, gameplay is amazing, graphics even more

LD53 - Box Crush by Furtive Pygmy 2023-05-05T15:24:53Z

Really well done! Cute visuals, gameplay works even with the balancing issues, it was a nice experience.

Grav-O-Delivery by XeduR 2023-05-05T22:24:34Z

Really creative approach to the jam! As someone pointed out, the hitboxes could be a little bigger. Maybe instead of showing the curved trajectory os the package, as you said it made the game to easy, it could have some indicator of how strong each planet pull is? like different layers of atmosphere with color getting more transparent as they go further from the center. Anyways, great job, really vibing

A Wolf's Riposte by Wolfier 2023-05-04T21:11:47Z

Struggled a little to understand how the combat really worked. My first play was mostly running around enemies so i didn't have to fight! Overall it was a fun little game. Good work!

Fun idea, cute graphics, nice execution!

A Message for the Stone King by SelkieHarbour 2023-05-05T23:02:53Z

What a nice game. Really lovely low poly style, nice animations, and good narrative! I love the ideia of delivering a message. Great jam entry, would be awesome to continue working on it and adding more depth, different endings, etc.

Pizza Pete's Peculiar Predicament by Space_Games 2023-05-03T00:59:15Z

Great work with the UI! It took me a while to understand that failing a throw would make me need to wait for the pizza throw to recharge, but from there is was pretty fun. The direction to which the doors open are a little confusing, maybe the pointer could be bigger. I kinda give up stage 5 after 10 attempts, but that's on me, I'm terrible with platforms haha

GobEx by WeirdBitGames 2023-05-06T00:09:39Z

First of all, great game! Loved the graphics, the mechanics, and the overall vibe. Also, really well done for putting hotkeys. So, I played the first time and it took me a while to understand everything going on. Then I play a second time, now getting the hang of it, and manage a 9799 score. Great, but I want more. So, the third time I opened letters real quickly and set the money aside, so I had a plan b for when my little guy get too sad with packages falling into its had. So far so good, a lot o packages start coming, he start to get sad and I don't know if it was something I did, but he just stopped taking damage? I think I broke the game....sorry....hahaha please forgive the 70k on the leader board. I kept trying to understand what was causing the issue. I don't know if it means something, but the goblin was not getting mad that i didn't give him new things. Also, the only wrong packaging I could do was putting the potatoes inside the ball package, no other combination worked. Anyways, congratulation on the great entry! had a lot of fun playing it

Sunset Delivery by nobiy 2023-05-03T00:42:08Z

The vaporwave aesthetic is really well done! Maybe you could've put the same neon outline shader on the cars models to make them blend better with the rest of the art style, but it worked well! The restart button doesn't work, but it's a nice gameplay, well done presenting the different mechanics one at a time :)

the postBIRB by LarsieVL 2023-05-04T20:59:23Z

Happy first jam! I quite like the controls, made flying around feel nice. Only major problem (that is not even a game breaker) I found is that the direction of the icons that show you where to deliver your mail do not update - so sometimes I passed flying too fast and far enough for the mail to not appear on my screen and then it was a challenge to find where it was. Loved the neighbor bird sound, I had fun imagining someone with a mic balancing themselves outside a window capturing a original birb song

Deerlivery by jackboz 2023-05-05T15:37:11Z

It is a nice and fun little game! Loved the environment art, and, although the main character is beautiful, it differs greatly from the scenario and enemies style, which makes the overall combination a little odd. Gameplay wise, it is a nice balance and design. Only thing that bothers me is that sometimes the black ninjas take a dumpling with out touching the box, from considerably far away, which was a bit frustrating.

Sort It Out by woathenry 2023-05-05T15:46:17Z

Nice game. Loved the use of parallax (even though the package layer is overlaying the correct/wrong buttons). It would be nice to have a little more feedback on which button you press - maybe light up the one you're hovering over, because the first 3 times I was quite unsure if i was pressing the correct one. A keyboard shortcut for approval/denial would be nice too! Overall, congratulations! It has a cool vibe

Delivery Survivor by Smoky01 2023-05-04T22:19:25Z

Gorgeous character design! The font choice was a little strange for me, it is not one of the most readable pixel art fonts, but it serves it's purpose. I have to point out that the music button on the menu does not work - also, is it supposed to have music during gameplay? It took me a while to understand that the colored roads lead to the magical colored circles. I do wish the game gave some feedback about placing the tunes tho, as well as being hit/hitting an enemy. Anyways, good job finishing the game in 72 hours! It is a fun little game!

Post it! by Mallok Studio 2023-05-05T15:53:32Z

Really well done. Always nice to see a really simple mechanic become a fun experience. Loved the music pace that changes. Aesthetic of the letter is pretty, it would be nice if the menu matched it a little more
