Really nice game and a good and very original approach to the theme. The graphics and sounds are well done too.

Wonderful idea, and I love the entire presentation. I had difficulty with mapping hand movements on to keys in my mind, but otherwise I love it. Also wonderful animations and art, amazingly done.
Awesome game, quite fun and well made! I really enjoyed it (despite not being able to last long on the demonic difficulty)
The controls take some time getting used to, I think it would have been helpful to have an illustration indicating which keys lead to which pose.
And a question: is blinking nonstop something that is being punished in some way? I ended up mashing the space bar to make the rest of the game a bit easier, and it seemed like a bit of a cheese. Not that it made the game too easy however 🙂

probably the best game I've played from this game jam so far! Simply amazing. Very fun, challenging, funny and with nice graphics. The art is very good! I managed to pass on easy but I didn't even risk trying on higher difficulties haha
Impressive artwork and challenging gameplay make Faking It an excellent game. It's disappointing that a web version isn't available, but it's definitely worth downloading. 🚀🦦

I love it! The beginner level could be shorter. I love the hardest mode it's very sweaty.
I really liked the interactivity. There was so much going on and soo much to do. But honestly, I was really impressed by the model and animations. This game has a really polished look and is a great idea for the theme.

One small nitpick. I was really overwhelmed by the many buttons I had to click for the arms. That probably should be a bit simpler. Maybe 2 buttons max and only adjusting one arm.
In the end I just ignored my arms and just blinked, scrolled and clicked the tentacles. Barely made it!
Good job on the game. Was fun nonetheless.
The game is very challenging, it's hard to keep track of everything. But overall, the art is beautiful and the game is very fun to play and replay!

Very fun game and challenging. The art is very well done. The hand mechanics is the only one that would need a bit of polish (maybe a preview of the next hand position to prepare). Overall a good take on the theme good job

I love this overall, the only two problems i had was the fact that its hard to keep my right hand on the keybord and the mouse at the same time, and its also kinda hard to tell between the hand on the screen and hand behind pack poses on the pictogram. Definetely going to try and beat all the difficulties!

A clever idea with engaging gameplay, the visuals are great too! (I especially love the eye transition, the clean look and the lighting and colours look very pleasant) It was very very hard at first, so we did it together, me and my boyfriend haha, but then he almost beat it alone on intermediate! Will definitely return for more :))
Oh, one thing was the poses close to the ~~chopping block~~ speakers desk were a little difficult to distinguish, so having the one behind his back look like the arm is almost gone would be a little more helpful.

That was the longest 5 minutes in my life. The demonic mode was actually easier, and I beat it with that level of suspicion in the pic. Or maybe I just got better at being a photorealistic accurate representation of a politician. When do I run for candidacy?
Huh.. I didn't feel it at first but as I was rating it I felt like you nailed everything. Smooth graphics, appropriate audio, good theme interpretation, and it was very fun too.
Lol, that was a nice experience. It really felt like Mark Zucc on court. I played the first difficulty then tried hardest one, I was keeping up but arms really threw me off. I believe you tried [qwer, asdf] or something similar and decided it made the game easier so went with these controls. Great overall!
This is one of my favorites so far...!!! the gameplay is so fun :) i had trouble realizing which keys i had 2 press with the poses but it was so fun. I really liked teh graphics! theyre so smooth and the idea is so silly
Wow, one of the best things I've seen here. Everything is done to perfection. Very solid for a jam.
Really fun game! At one point he had the idea in our team to make a game about delivering speeches but couldn't settle into how to make it interesting. You certainly hit a nice stop with this. I am 100% a fan of this. Would love to see it have a story mode in which you do the presidential campaign and you get different annoyances depending on the level.
My only "but" would be the control schemes with the hand position. The back and forward sometimes get confused, and I think using WASD instead of ASDF would be more intuitive.

Damn, it's hard! My first time was so terrible! And, even during all the other times I literally brute-forced every button for correct hand positions. However, I managed to beat the demonic difficulty. This is insane! Great job
"Beginner" uf xD But i made it. The graphics are great and the game concept is ingenious :D Sometimes I wasn't sure if the position of the arms was correct when he had to position them on the pc. But it turned out to be right :D I think it was really successful and I had fun with it.

This game is my favourite of the jam so far. When I found out about this theme I though a game about giving a speech would be cool but I had no idea how to execute. You pulled it off excellently. It is so much fun to try and keep everything under control and the fact that a kept forgetting the blink made me laugh a lot. The art and audio are also amazing on top of everything. Really awesome game
That was actually impressive. Being human every day nonstop, I sometimes forget how difficult it is to be one. This game renewed my empathy for human wannabes and made me a new person.

Oh wow, this interpretation of the theme is incredible! Probably one of my favorite discoveries so far. You can really feel the pressure of not getting caught with the plethora of controls at your disposal, as even the slightest mistake can cost us our job. Congratulations on the idea and execution!
The graphics in the game look amazing and the sounds add to the level of atmosphere. The game is so simple and intuitive that I can even recommend it to my friends who are not very gamers. This is one of the most addictive games I have ever played.

Very cool game, I enjoyed traumatizing the audience until I figured out how to modulate the voice, also very good graphics.
This is a hilarious idea, and the art is very well executed on this! I did very well for a normal human without extra tentacles to hit all these buttons. Aliens would probably find it much easier. A++ game jam entry!
Very funny concept and it's quite hectic to play! Also, a different take on the theme is always nice to see. I did wish for stronger feedback when elements were failing or succeeding; I thought the tentacles were good for that since slapping them felt good. You delivered a great and very funny game!

I had a hard time mentally translating the poses to the specific key-presses - especially when also having to shift one hand between mouse and keyboard as well - reducing the number of inputs enough, so one hand for the keyboard would be sufficent might have been a smoother experience.
The art and audio were excellent! They really sold the concept of an alien impersonating a human, while at the same time being quick to "de-code" at a glance to see which actions were needed next.
A very interesting and creative game!
