didn't notice any jittery camera on my play through
Looks good and plays well, nice polish on this one! Only thing not great was took forever to load HTML version
HTML version on itcho.io was hard to play for me. Screen size seems too big
I liked it, but I seemed to die sometimes for no reason
I liked the simple pixel art and music/sounds
cute game!
Nice simple game play. Would be nice to be able to jump. Our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/banana-snatchers
nice game with interesting idea. Kinda wish the penguin would face the direction I am moving. Seems like he faces the next objective? just feels a bit strange walking left and facing right
nice game. would be nice if icons for food pickup were bags of food, I was confused which color was for what.
Does what it's supposed to do!
Nice game, pixel art is good. I had trouble using the alt button but right mouse worked. controlling the character was a little difficult. good job!
I enjoyed the sound and driving mechanics, nice job!
definitely enjoyed playing this one, love the graphic style!
haha I loved peeing on the boxes for some reason
Nice work!
Thanks, link is provided now to itch.io
Regarding the Server configuration error - this is only if you try to play on this website I believe. The HTML version can be played via the itch.io link above (https://haymakercoding.itch.io/banana-snatchers). The game can also be played via the download (PC executable). There is a controller bug or 2 (or 3) I need fix so right now experiences will vary. Thanks for playing!
I made a small post jam submission fix to the itch.io version of the game to fix the right and left top triggers not working and changed the mode to compatibility to help with HTML play. The original unfixed jam version is still the download link found here. If you have trouble with controls please try the itch.io link. Note a controller is still required to play as keyboard controls would be an added feature, so I will add them once the voting wraps up.
Hey thanks guys, controls seem to be a nightmare. Even with a controller some buttons don't seem to work on the HTML version, I think it's a Godot 4 thing combined with browser support. This is my first Jam so don't want to break any rules by releasing new version. But I think I will update with keyboard controls shortly and mark it as a post jam update. Hopefully that is ok
Thanks, my partner, the artist loves the feedback on his art. Too bad I biffed the controls lol, timeframe was tough for coding.
