I really liked this! Feels like a proper NES game. I'd definitely enjoy playing a more fleshed out version of this, it seems like the box stacking mechanic has some good potential for making interesting puzzles/level designs. Nice idea and nice work!

I really liked the game! It really felt like a NES game, and the graphics and sound effects are really cool. The core mechanic is great too, provided me with some a-ha moments, even though it was a short game. I could see this idea being expanded further! Congratulations :D
Interesting choice to make it in NES format! I beat it but couldn't manage to get a perfect score on the last level, dang cat...
The art and sound effects fits perfectly, and I really like the enemy AI as well. Going all the way back to the start multiple times in a level could get annoying but overall, a pretty fun game.
I really like the mechanics, I hope you continue this project, maybe have puzzles with buttons or something? GG
I loved seeing the critters buzzing off with your food hahaha! Simple but I liked it :D The graphics were the best in your projects thus far by the way! Shame there was no music but the sound effects were cute and fit the mood really well. I too would love to see a more fleshed out version of this down the line.
10/10 for making a NES rom of all things. In 72 hours. Wow, mad respect! Love the critters and puzzle mechanics :)

Great concept! The mechanics and enemies made for some really interesting and challenging puzzles, and it's SO cool that you made an actual NES game! I would totally play a longer version of this.

Impressive doing this as a rom! Love the vibe and the character of the world, great job!
First try: $166 in tips with $10 loss for a total of $156. Also, I think I technically died as I fell into an endless pit with only a small supply of food, but at least I made some money.
Absolutely stellar NES vibes with this one, while the gameplay loop was a conventional one, it definitely felt like a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Also, the way the animals zoomed off with your food was really funny.

Saw this game featured on a stream. Great job. One of my favorites so far. The mechanics were introduced logically one at a time and I thought it was fair that you progressed a level even if you didn't get a perfect score.
Really cool NES entry! I really liked the mechanics around avoiding the different hazards, once I understood them. At first I thought they'd be unfair, but they were actually all fair and fun to play against. Good job!
Simple puzzles, and cute. Birds and cats are mean. u _ u I thought it was neat that the game still continued despite lost boxes, but it felt a little meaningless as there wasn't a true drawback to it.
I think this is one of your best entries, in terms of combining puzzle elements, platforming and pacing. Glad to have tried it out on stream, thanks for being there <3

Damn you got the full streamer coverage, nice. I didn't realise that the goal was score, and when the cat stole a package, I assumed I'd lost rather than simply lost score. It's an interesting approach to a level based game that I don't think I've seen before. Here's a vod that you can rewatch the stream;

Played this on stream, I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that this game also came as an NES rom! Would've loved a way to quickly replay a level (as I had an imperfect score on the last level), but it wasn't really a thing in NES times, so fair enough. Great job on delivering a game with such technical challenges in such a short time!

Damn bird! I had to jump like crazy to shoo it away from my boxes. Anyways, good puzzle platform game! The last level was tricky and I had to restart to complete it perfectly.

Pretty good, you can cheat quite a bit to not have to backtrack by stacking boxes then overlapping the tile you stacked them on and picking them back up. Could have used some music but I get the press for time!
