Once I got used to the gravity accelerator, it's a really fun, new way to move. It was a bit unfortunate i blew through my missiles and then was broke for my second run by the time I figured out how they worked, but overall a solid and different game. At first I thought there was no regular thrusters on W, I think some kind of regular thrust animation would have been helpful. Nice job all around!
Impressive doing this as a rom! Love the vibe and the character of the world, great job!
Never have I cursed breadsticks and clocks as much as I have here. Luckily I had breaksticks IRL that made the immersion complete. Really awesome puzzle game!
Leader board is awesome. Controls feel nice. Definitely captures that paperboy vibe, which is rad as heck. As a drone, I did want to fly over some of the obstacles, especially when skimming the edge to get more papers. I dig it
Graphics and music are top notch. Game play is unique and refreshing, though somewhat frustrating. Great submission!
Fantastic work here. Audio, Graphics, the UI, everything flows together quite well and ties into the theme. Great job!
@krassenstein AWESOME! thanks for the VOD. I think the thing we probably didn't explain well (which is great to point out) is that too many taps in quick succession will shatter the cube. You have 5 taps until the cube breaks, and it regresses one tap about every half second. It takes a lot of finesse, between timing your drop to get enough momentum to reach the dog, and having enough control to avoid the stalagmites. Some people have found using W at different points of the run helps. I have found ways to reach the end without the use of W, so if its ever too easy, try that lmao. Super appreciate the video!
Just the right amount of nightmare fuel to satisfy my sleep paralysis demon. Really impressive that ya'll took on a 3d FPS for the jam! great job everyone! Little sad I couldn't bunny hop while droppin birds on their pilgrim butts.
Really awesome level design. Felt intuitive as you progressed without being super punishing. Great balance of challenge and fun.
Super fun, super funny, definitely Floridian. Great job!
41k Baby! Nice take on Paperboy with a sweet mechanic! Great idea, great execution!
Really chaotic, but fun concept! Diggin the chicken cow, if you know, you know.
I found myself cursing at myself for buying tracks i didn't need, just to be more efficient when $$ was to be made. When I saw that $22 sheep offer, oh baby, I just had to get there faster. But honestly, what kinda town only offers $6 for coal? Psh... I could just by-pass them with a new rail line. bwa hahaha My greed almost got me stuck in the mountains.
This was super satisfying on first playthrough. Having it generate a new map every play through makes this great to come back to as well. There's a lot of room here to expand on too, which is exciting if ya'll continue to build on it. great job!
Do it for the rap. Awesome job!
Great play with the theme. Yoshi's Island-esque but not as annoying, although I do lament storks now.
Super unique game and take on the theme. Wonderful artwork, great vibes! Awesome job!
Pretty fun! Just a bit tiny
Super fun, right amount of goofy and humor. The controls are great and responsive. Nice job! Brings me back to the good ol' days with Desert Strike.
Super funny, Super fun, Super great job! I could easily see this continuing!
Really appreciate the simple palette. Gameplay was intuitive and just challenging enough to keep me playing. Great job!
Little laggy at the higher levels but it works. Seemed a little crowded but I was able to complete it.
killer soundtrack, fit perfectly. Love the platforming elements and the tight controls. I can't particularly articulate how, but between that heavy riff, the mines, and movement, this almost felt like old school battletoads type platforming but in first person, which is faaaaaaantastic. Great job!
Really felt like I was in a dive bar, trying to hurl jokes at a mumbling crowd. 5/5. better than sienfeld.
Amazing work! Great life lessons on stealing packages!
I felt so bad for making him sad, that I was happy to steal peoples stuff! Great Game!
Impressive city scale! always gotta watch those subway cars. Grappling was a bit difficult to get a hang of but I found myself using that over the regular WASD movement as it was *way* faster. Music was a little intense but definitely fit the vibe.
Great take on the theme, love the dynamics between the aliens. Those gorbles tho. you gotta keep an eye on em.
Super big mood! was not expecting that much depth in a short game but the audio really pulls it all together! great job!
Super fun. I smashed two boxes and only got a 3 star (cursed stone throwers). Music, graphics, controls fit the retro vibe very well, with satisfying precision game play. Great job!
I like the idea and scope of the level and game play. The controls were very difficult to manage and somewhat frustrating. The A and D roll and flipping upside down became confusing and hard to correct. Going slow seems to be the ideal way to travel and enjoy the view!
OOOoooOOo he hit that harrrd <3 This is great. Laughed the entire time.
This was brutal for me but absolutely fun and adorable. Awesome music, really clean design. A nice take on platforming with the constant movement, really helps push the pace. Great Job!image_2023-05-04_215328042.png
Rad music, blastin bezos bots, launchin packages into peoples doors? Heck yea. This was great, highest score i got was 1580? First few times it was a bit frustrating to not be able to hear them behind you, so it was mostly relying on visual to stay alive. Could move a tiny bit faster than the bots but not enough to make them not a threat if you slip up. I tried drawing them out in a line like zombies but they were too fast. My solution to survive longer was to jump one of them, stand on it, and blast its friends in the face as they came by. Once I hit about 1k points, they actually started towering if i kept jumping on top the robot. And then they started CLIMBING each other, so I started blasting and it collapsed and I got over run. This was fun as heck. Great job!
Even with the webbuild glitches this was super playable, really fun too. The intro was great, the gameplay, while simple, was fairly intuitive after the first run trying to figure everything out. Great job!
