@stefan-funke its not happening on my end? maybe try the itch link https://slimewitch.itch.io/wizard
HTML link works great for me, just to "counter" the first post.
Took me a while to figure out I can drag and drop the arrows for the wizard to move and that R can be used to reset the level :) Might be a good idea to write that as well to description - or I am just slow.
Love the ambiance music, really fits the minimalistic graphics style, I think you nailed the atmosphere!
Also I love playing puzzle games like this, so right up my alley. Good job on making so many levels for jam game!
@slimetrash it works on itch, thanks. But I have another problem. I'm clicking the start button and the wizard starts moving. But the direction buttons at the top-left do not seem to work for me. The wizard just walks back and forth and does not turn.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I'm loving the graphics btw, that's why I wanted to play it
@stefan-funke click on the arrow then click on the darker tile (will highlight when you hover over it)! (maybe shouldve put more instructions in the game heh)
I've had the same issue as @stefan-funke, but managed to play on Itch.
So, I like the graphics. It reminds me of couple of other games that I played in Past LDs with that color palette. It's dark and ominous, but not scary per se. Good for puzzle game like this.
For puzzles themselves, I found them quite okay in difficulty. The 'what to do' though... It took me couple of tries to understand what to do with the arrows in the top left sections. I thought you needed arrows or WSAD to control the character. After a bit of tinkering it all went well though.
It's not really a humoristic game, so I'm not gonna rate it here.
Music is very on point here, good taste!
I wish it was more onto hmm... the actual `delivery` theme? Maybe I'm not seeing enough there.
A good entry nontheless!
Really sick game design / aesthetics combo
very cool little game. nice mood and some challenging puzzles!
Shout out to the comments for explaining the controls :) Softlocked myself and couldn't press R by having the player eat up a control just as they leave a tile. Third time was the charm and I got to play through the game. It's fun! I've seen puzzles like these before and I like the idea, always worth exploring. Congrats on the visual and audio side, they really bring the game together :) Overall impressive work!
@slimetrash Thanks for explaining the controls  I had a lot of fun playing!
I only have one more small thing. When I have highlighted an arrow I often wanted to pick another arrow instead. I should be able to click on it directly without unselecting the first.
Very good game! Loved it!
Nice game! Got to around level 5-7ish? Took me a bit to figure out the controls but once I did it was really enjoyable to plan then execute a path! When the spikes were introduced it made for a nice touch!
Very neat game, gets a bit hard. I would love if the character had a contrasting color to the level.
I really enjoyed solving all the puzzles! It was a bit confusing right at the beginning until I got that you should be placing the direction symbols onto the floor squares, but after that everything was fine!
Loved this! Had a ton of fun, the mechanics were great and it was a great use of the theme. Loved the atmosphere. Might be the best LD53 game I've played so far.
I thoroughly enjoyed the audio, graphics and the mood, but I had to look through the comments section to figure out the controls, as they are in no way indicated inside the game nor the description, apart from level skips. When I got around to playing it, it was a nice little puzzle game. The mechanic of directing the wizard was pretty neat once I figured it out, and worked well overall.
Very neat little puzzle game! :)
Completed the game. Itch.io version worked fine for me. I found the idea that you have to apply the turns even after the wizard has set of interesting, it's not something you often see in these kinds of puzzle games. Understanding what to do took some time in the beginning though. Otherwise a great game!
Excellent game! Loved the art and the sound effects.
Would have loved a tutorial tho.
What a great game! I loved the art (especially the color palette,) the audio, just the overall vibe was sick. The "aha" moment when you figure out how to solve the puzzles was great. Nice job!!

I gotta say, the music for the game is wicked! It's so atmopsphereic and good! Once I realised how to make the arrows appear in the mud, I quickly got the hang of it. I like the minimalist colour palette and the puzzles were clever and well thought out too! Well done!
Really appreciate the simple palette. Gameplay was intuitive and just challenging enough to keep me playing. Great job!
this is really neat! nice puzzles, cute aesthetic, nice fitting music. I could see a lot of really cool mechanics that could fit into this base game. i didn't catch the connection to the theme, but that mostly doesnt matter. also, one time i caused an infinite loop and had to restart (i think i placed an arrow at the same time the tile was reached? not sure) very nice game!! :)
I love it when a game can establish this much mood and a brilliant puzzle mechanic with wise use of assets.
Yay, that was a nice puzzle game! I didn't quite get stuck on any of them, I managed to blaze through each of them pretty well, but it felt great! It took a minute for me to understand how I was supposed to play the game, just because of the lack of a tutorial, but afterwards, it was really easy to get into! The game looks nice, sounds nice, and plays well, only big complaint would be that it *really* doesn't fit the theme, unless I'm understanding it incorrectly. I *somehow* managed to get stuck on one of the last levels -- and by that I don't mean I couldn't figure it out, I literally softlocked the game (); I forgot to set down my tiles before starting my character, and I put a down tile on the ground just as the guy was moving off of it, and because the state was already moving him in a different direction, it just decided to stop moving entirely. Restart button didn't work, skip button couldn't work, but thankfully I'm almost positive it was one of the last levels, so I didn't miss much!
Sorry for writing a paragraph that barely had anything constructive in it, but hopefully this helps anyway! Great job, keep it up! :3
Took a few minutes to figure out the controls and that you can use them during the character's run. The ambient music and style of art were great for this! I solved all, got to the end screen. I like that in most situations you had time to place an arrow, because of repeated left-right, up-down movement. Sure, in a few places you had to be quick, but it isn't a reaction type game, still very much a puzzle. You took the simple arrow movements and made a few mechanics out of it and I loved it. Like placing up near a wall to go down was a neat subtle thing.
Pretty good game, liked the ominious, mysterious mood. Providing the pieces with the right axis but not necessarily the right direction did increase the challenge a bit.
The clicking is bit janky with pieces not registering as in the holes, and I was lost at the start that pieces in the top left corner could be placed in the holes. But otherwise it was smooth
Good effort! :)
Had a great time with this one! The levels were all very well-designed, and the art and music made for a serene vibe. Liked this a lot; nice work!
