In the later levels, there are just too many people. A slice of pizza is not enough to fill the gaps between teeth, haha. The game is very interesting.
Fancy! The embedded version didn't work for me, but the one on itch did. Exciting music and fun vibe overall. The levels all felt the same, but I had fun. Nice job!
Loved the animations and the designs. When there is too many peoples, the game is a bit laggy and the last level is impossible.

The laggy-ness of level 4 is unfortunate. Betime, I built it and realized it, the two solutions I thought of would have been more work than I wanted to do :(. If I learned anything this time around, its build and test not just test along the way. I appreciate the feedback on the game! Thank you.
Cool game! I enjoyed the music, especially with volume control. Dancing granny needs her pizza delivered, Hungrys don't get nothing :smiley:

Thank you for adding the dancing animation to the new people instead of just including them without any movement. It has added a lot of value to the mood of the game, and I am enjoying playing it while listening to the music. However, I noticed that the embedded version starts lagging when more people appear on the screen, which made level 4 more challenging, but I was able to complete all levels successfully :smile:
It seems like each level generates randomly, but with a similar number of people in each level. Therefore, in some cases, there was a clear straight line between several people, making certain parts of the game easier. For example, in level 3, I had a run where I went straight until the halfway point, then took a left and right turn, and then went straight again until the finish. I also got lucky on level 4 after a few attempts.
Overall, the game could use some optimization, but I appreciate the effort you put into it. Good job!
Little laggy at the higher levels but it works. Seemed a little crowded but I was able to complete it.
The optimization on the last two levels, especially the first half of the last level is no existent. Betime I realized it, I didn't want to go back and make the necessary changes. I will absolutely be keeping this in mind moving forward on future projects.
This game was fun. Everyone dancing the whole time really added to the experience.

The mood of the game is good, cool music, cute character, i have the impression to play a full mobile game found on the store. In advanced level there is too much people, and that make the game laggy on my old laptop. But that was good and fun experience !
interesting concept but a lot of unclear thing from the start!! for example the level of pizza, whos the bad guy and whos not lol, but i liked tha=e game any way! thank you
At the beginning I knew the music was going to be vibes! Loved every song. The Hungrys were cute with the little dances they do. The Art was enjoyable and looked great. I honestly really liked the game and would play more. I do wish the pizza wasn't just flying in the air or on the ground though.
Great music, the vibe of the game is very silly/fun.
Really like that the music amps up as the levels get harder. Sometimes the generation of the hungrys makes it almost impossible to pass a level.

@partysquadmember Sorry, I meant to finish my thoughts. I wish the pizza was being delivered by an entity of sorts; Or maybe in this world, pizza is sentient and delivers itself, which is super cool and unsettling

The game was pretty good but very short, I liked the fact that everyone was dancing, but I didn't really have a hard time avoiding the hungrys, and since they all spawn randomly if u just keep dying you can just do that until you get a set of hungrys that is just a straight path to the grandma, but overall it is a pretty good game! Keep up the good work!

Nice game with a unique take on the theme, it was maybe a little easy but of course it's always replayable to get a better time. Could be nice to add some more varied types of obstacles; maybe some people that walk back and forth across rather than just standing still?

Solid game and the hungrys' synchronized dancing was hilarious. When I beat level 2 though, the pizza clipped through the house at the end and made me restart and it happened 3 times, but that didn't occur on other levels.
Great game, the levels did feel really similar though.
It seems like the clock doesn't really do anything since you always move forward once you start. Other than that, good job! This is one of my favorite games this year. The synchronized dancing to the music is beautiful.
@a.huua Thank you for pointing that out, during testing the collider was registering for a level reset. I went to double check the build in Unity and at some point I removed the box collider and did not add it back onto the house! Whoops!
@sebastiaan-wouters I agree, I spent more time learning about the menus and building aesthetics than gameplay, next Ludum Dare I will bring more vareity!

Amusing game -- I checked it out on stream https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1811571328 at around the 2 hour 20 mark. Framerate really started tanking when a lot of dancers were on the screen.

Fun and quirky lil game. I also had issues with performance, especially at the end, although the solid player controls made playing through the lag manageable. Good work!
@jitspoe and @branung The performance on the web build really hurt the performance, still learning Unity I didn't realize that when testing the game in Unity and then testing in build could lead to performance issues. I did look into other ways to build this for future projects and found ways to avoid this issue, such as less animations or rendering only the necessary prefabs to avoid glitching. Very quick and hectic. That was fun early on until the performance made it impossible to play. I think you could have gotten away with a LOT less animated characters if you placed them more strategically.
The music and graphics you chose created a bright and upbeat atmosphere which complemented the fast paced gameplay.
