Love the graphics! Lol.
I'm impressed with the amount of audio content, and I like the design of the characters. It was a bit tricky to figure out some of the hints, but after a few rounds I started to get the hang of it. Nice work!
like the moving around of the packages. wasn't clear which one he wanted. he said glittery, and he didn't like the glittery one I gave him?
Really enjoyed it; had a bit of trouble at first but got the hang of it after a couple of deliveries
lmao this is great
I loved the game, it's really fun! Now my goal is just to make them angry.
NO- NOT THAT ONE. First playthrough I just wanted to cycle through all of the responses. Upbeat theme and nice feedback to user. Clever game loop, enjoyed playing it!
I love the voice acting and the music. I kinda wish it rotated through the coworkers on the same run. Really fun. Nice work!
Cool idea! I liked the art and audio. I think the packages often ended up pretty similar so it was hard to get the right one without a lot of hints, my coworker was very frustrated with me! "What is this, geometry class??" I think I would have liked to be prompted with a vague hint from the beginning, because it felt like trial and error a lot of the time. Cool game!
Nice game. I like ho many things she has to say. I could not get passed the first person no matter how many times i passed her the brown envelope.
i like the game, but waiting them to give us a clue is wasting time. The voice acting is good tho
@pralista If you hand them a package that fits their hints so far then they immediately give another hint. If it doesn't match, though, they'll just say it's wrong.
Love how the truck bobs up and down as it drives. The voice lines and sound effects are stellar. Wish there were a few more unique shapes and coloration, but the mechanic of being able to move around a package to hear what's inside, is wonderful. The music fits with the upbeat groove ♪♫. Definitely fun and fitting of the theme. :)
@milano23 Glad you liked it. There can be more than one brown envelope. Some runs are just harder than others because we have randomness.
Awesome voice acting and very creative idea and amazing graphics! I kept struggling to get the packages out of the truck because they kept clanging or sticking to everything. Very stressful and engaging lol
wide open mouths detected) I like how the difficulty grows up
Nice kinestesik game
Super fun game! Love the voice acting. Might be a good idea to add like a note taking feature that keeps track of the hints given so far in case the player forgets but otherwise really fun!
@mixelpixel Great to hear you enjoyed our game. We're very proud of our voice acting. Appreciate the feedback. It's a good suggestion.
What a creative game! And the voice acting is great, I liked that there were multiple lines even for the same information. It's funny when they give you a useless "hint". The gameplay reminds me of an old kids game called Fribble Shop, which is fun. :)
@rose Thank you for playing our game. I've never heard of Fribble Shop but I'm glad our game gave you warm memories.
Funny little game - nice job team! The physics interactions were a bit unpredictable and wonky which was frustrating at first, but that kinda leans into the fun of this game so it works!
Feels really finished and a fully-realized idea. Some of the smaller packages were a pain to pick up though
This was so fun! A guess and check game is a lot different to the takes I've seen so far. And with full voice acting - impressive! Joey was a little harder to hear then the others, but otherwise a fantasic entry!
@saryah Thank you for the feedback, one of the things we learned this jam is that audio mixing is apparently very different in webgl than in an .exe build. We're glad you liked the voice acting nevertheless!
@frocto Thanks for the feedback, size was one of the trickier things to balance out in the time frame. It was tough making the sizes distinguishable but also fun; too big and too small were tricky to balance. Especially with the envelopes, the small ones are nearly microscopic haha
I like the drawings of the people!
I was having fun when playing this. Nice mood and vague instructions was great!
Nice voice acting, i really like the drawings of the people. Fun game. Nice job :)
Funny idea for the theme. It get really annoying when your colleague tell you that the shape is wrong and ALL package are rectangle ... Also "the package is green"
ItsGreen.png Really usefull ... So yeah i can tell you... it's mostly accurate xD (if you replace colleague with people)
I really wanted some new characters! And even more puns and voice acting. Maybe, if less dirt and smoke, and more humor and subtle mockery, this would be the best. Overall, cool game, gets you involved.
@herryfabien Thanks for the feedback, we wanted to juggle the combination of helpful hints and useless ones to evoke a feeling of hectic chaos and frustration, while still being fun. I think if we were to update it we would keep some parameters at a minimum, like always having at least two colors or shapes.
@ardorugus Did you see all 4 characters? We have gotten feedback that some people would like for the characters to change over the course of one run.
@roguebrain I think, yes, what I mean is, it's best to have different chars mixed in one run. Three times and more of the same char with the same voice gets a bit boring and repetitive, to my opinion.
@ardorugus That makes sense. I'm considering pushing an update after the jam including an endless mode we didn't have time to include, which would feature all 4 characters. It would be similar to the current mode but every time you deliver a package you would gain a little extra time.
Lol. I had to play the game 4 times to hear all the insults. First game I played with voice acting. My high score was 10.
f.png
@alanxoc3 I can't think of a better compliment than "I played your game multiple times so it could insult me more" haha. I'm so glad you liked it
@roguebrain nice, just the way I'd like it;).
i really enjoyed playing your game! simple but really cool mechanics, fun graphisms which fit the vibe and the title is amazing btw, anyways good job guys
Funny little game! Simple but still enjoyable, especially the humor. It would be cool if one would have a slight idea what package is expected but I guess this is not the intention of the game.
Really funny, loved the art and lines of dialogue. The gameplay is innovative and pretty fun. I like how you had to shake things to hear the sound.
Capture.PNG It was super fun! Wish there was a character selection instead of random one being picked. Great job!! Nothing bad to say about this one.
@jeffrey-hwang Happy to hear you had fun with our game. We appreciate the feedback. Maybe we'll add a character select option in a post jam version.
Good and interesting idea. Nice))
Love the idea for this! simple yet fun and having multiple characters gives it good replay-ability. loving the art style reminds me of some animated adult cartoons. amazing job!
Pretty straight-forward, but the characters and their voice acting had me replaying the game just to hear all of it :) Good job!
This was pretty fun! The visual style worked well with the voices and style of game very well! I did find objects stacking on top of each other lots so sometimes things would get lost but otherwise things got into a decent flow! Having all those voiced characters was pretty fun to see!
It kept things simple, matched the theme well and I had fun, great job!
@sarah-alexa We definitely tried to evoke a feeling of chaos and clutter, so I'm glad we accomplished that where it sometimes felt like a lot and packages weren't always easy to find. We could have made our messaging more clear so that it felt intentional rather than buggy. Glad you enjoyed it!
Very funny entry, wish there was a bit more of the character's flaws showing up in the gameplay some way.
Played your game on stream, if you want to watch initial thoughts here's the link: (timestamps in the description to jump to your game!) [youtube link](youtu.be/N5dbipZkGKM)
@lomby Hey, I really appreciate you streaming/uploading a video of your playthrough of FedUp. It's always the best feedback when you can see and hear how the player is reacting. We've been working on a post jam version that will come out very soon with some fixes and tweaks that we ran out of time for or that people suggested in the comments. It was incredible to hear someone genuinely laughing at our game. We had a ton of fun making it. The art style was inspired by Regular Show and Close Enough. I managed to rate your game before the cutoff. Thanks for playing!

Thanks everyone for playing our game and leaving feedback. We're the 68th funniest jam game thanks to you! We made a post jam version called FedUp - Express Edition that fixes somethings we ran out of time for plus added a character select, an endless mode that uses all the characters, and leaderboards. Check it out if you get the chance. https://roguebrain.itch.io/fed-up-express-edition
