LOVE THIS GAME!!! I genuinely had such a big doofy smile on my face when the pistol came up. Seriously great stuff.
I feel like after the initial twist though, getting dragged back into the day sections is a bit of a bummer. It's exactly the same as the night sections, but without that extra shooting mechanic to keep things engaging. Giving the daytime sections their own special mechanic (Crazy taxi delivery routes?) would help remedy it a lot.
Still though, this is the best game I've played so far from the jam. Awesome work!!!

The change at night was super unexpected but super cool, the graphics were sick. Felt like a really polished game, great job!

Awesome game. It's brilliant and creative to bring gun-shot and deliver packages together, which makes the game having two different modes and increases the possibility for players to enjoy. To me, the main problem is that the day time seems like a bit short, i hardly deliver lots of packages especially in the first or second day.

I enjoyed your game. The night time twist was certainly a surprise and was a great addition. Like another reviewer I felt the daytime was a bit slow. I think you could have maybe added lots more packages to deliver and just allow that part of the game to be a bit of a speed rush (lower the money you receive for each parcel for balance).
I had a few technical issues as the game doesn't seem to 'keep' the mouse in certain scenarios. In full screen I could not turn past ~180 degrees. The turning felt a bit fast in general for me - but that might just be my preference.
I found the road arrows and bounce pads to be occasionally useful but I didn't feel like they were necessary for the game.
I saw three types of enemy - I don't know if there were more because I didn't get further than the 3rd night :laughing:
Overall I liked playing the game and thought it nailed the theme 👍🏻 :clap:
I love this so much. I laughed so hard when it first changed. I found it difficult but I am going to go back in and try again. Well done!!

I love this game. This is very addictive and intresting. I running out from monsters like running from Nextbots in gmod. I like the style and sounds, but the funny gameplay is main thing that delay me. For the moment I'am top 2 in the worldwide hahahah. Good job!
Super nice game ! the art and the vibe are amazing those citizens are so cute it all feels super smooth and the boost pads are a super nice addition it makes you always active, maybe the enemies should have a bit less life to incentivize fighting them

Such a cool entry and cool way to tip the theme on its head. The highscore would probably be nicer if you got an actual list, instead of an approximation of your location. Either was this is super creative and quite hard (didn't get past night 3). All in all super impressive and super good looking! Well done!

Really enjoyed this experience. The swap at the end of the day was unexpected! I loved how the two different vibes are bound together by gameplay commonalities, but reinforced by the differences. The day-phase works as a sandbox to learn the layout of the town in a risk-free environment, but also creates an economic pressure to be fast enough to get stronger to go farther when playing at a higher level. Strong loop.
I really appreciated the doomlike aesthetics of play and visuals! As always, the daytime graphics were absolutely adorable, in your usual style; but I really loved the contrast with the new night-time looks. It's fun to see something that strays from Different Strokes & 10 Seconds Mixtapes, even though you seem to have incorporated your signature robust online features with that trackmania-style leaderboard. Excellent work, thank you!
I like the art and the cute ambient, and how you have use parkour elements to make the game very dynamic,rapid and funny. The night phase is really stressfull too !
The swap of day and night is pretty unexpected and fun! I am so bad at this game but it's also so fun at the same time (still get to be #1 in my area)
Very fun! A lot of the submissions I've seen so far have this basic concept, but they're not exactly fun. This one looks great, sounds great, and feels great!

This game is aesthetically fantastic. I especially loved the shoutout of starting the game on one of the highest rooftops looking down over the town. It's tons of fun too with remarkably satisfying shooting and maneuovering for a jam game. Great stuff!
I do think of all the options, the improved throwing was almost a debuff. I also managed to trigger I guess a quite rare bug where I picked up and delivered a package simultaneously because of a bad throw. Loved Roof Granny!

Cool game guys! Lots of fun, and the day / night cycle was a super pleasant surprise. A suggestion I'd have is to incorporate kills in the scoring. I think delivering in the night is maybe fun at first when your gun sucks, but then later on it's pretty pointless and it's much more fun just blasting everything, but there doesn't seem to be any reward for that. It would also be nice to see the leaderboard before playing. I was at the point where I could probably go on forever or for a long time, but I wasn't sure where I was at on the leaderboard. I just decided to stop. Made it to Day 13 with lvl 6 shotgun.
The leaderboards were a great idea, it was part of what compelled me to keep playing until I mastered the game :P
I also think it's a bug that enemy bullets don't despawn when night turns to day. Sucks to get hit like that.

Ah! I love this! At first I was like, wow neat, a well executed delivery sim. Then night fell --- stuff got crazy! Great game, awesome twist.

Really well made entry. Art is great - for both day and night. The NPCs during the day are cute as shit, love that. The gunplay in the night cycle is decent too. More oomph on the shotgun would be nice though!
I love *and* hate when Ludum Dare games have an upgrade loop because I end up getting stuck playing the game for ages trying to get everything :D

This is amazing! I love that delivery simulator suddenly turns into a fps game, and both modes are fun to play. I think the boost pads adds a bit of depth to this game, since it encourages to look at the world and makes the delivery more skill involved. QoL features like map system and the arrow on a box pointing to the destination were also great too. My only gripe was that fighting demons felt too risky, since spawning rate is so high and there's no invincibility frames. But maybe that's just me having a skill issue, nonetheless it was a fantastic experience!
I just have to say the night time was pretty scary.
The night cycle caught me off guard! But the graphics was amazing, its a bit jittery when I stare at the NPC while moving thou its not a big problem

Im impressed, the night twist actually gave me chills. enjoyed the gameplay a lot and it feels so polished. the music was great it just fits so well. could only make it to top 12, but i'll try more Hehe
Incredibly stylish and controls and plays well. The level design is really clever too, lots of hidden paths to explore. The first tone shift into night is unexpected and fund. Might be that I just need to play it more but the difficulty curve feels a bit too steep. It feels more like "you deliver packages and then night falls and you die" rather than "you go through day/night cycles delivering stuff and using the money at the transition points to upgrade your character".
Good job! I enjoyed the game. My only thing would be that the mouse look is a bit weird at times (especially when turning), I had problems fine-controlling it, especially for "speedruns". Loved the leaderboard, I'm #1 in Mexico City.
Not enough meat... 5/5 though, only complaint is I wish the map rotated to where you were looking

Such a nice looking game with an unexpected twist! I love it! Actually got to the point of slowing my computer down with so many enemies. Didn't realize there was an end score to shoot for, but this is what I got after a while: dante's delivery 1519.png

I want to inform the world that I am very sad that I couldn't find a place to use the phrase "deliver us from evil" in the game's copy.
I can`t describe how much I loved this game! From top to bottom from visual to the main twist. Deliverable part of the game is very fun to play cause of all the boosting plates and the night part – is a really decent shooter! And with upgrade shop it gives you depth (and motivation to work harder as a delivery-guy). And, again, stunning visual, very stylish game!
Really love the mix of 2D and 3D graphics, super unique and the night time was totally unexpected which was great. A gun just appeared and the motivation to get the next upgrade is really well done, especially when paired with the clean UI (Reminds me of Don't Starve :D ). Great entry and good luck!!
I don't know if I can expand on what others have said but this is one of the best games I've played this Ludum Dare. Graphics are top notch, the sound is awesome in both versions of the city, and the gameplay is super tight. I really love the fast movement around the city when hit the pads just right.
I also recommend going into this with no spoilers. I was really surprised by the the turn it took (in a good way). I want to try all the upgrades.

@mitur I think that was the minor update... I asked the guys do hide some info on the ratings page (it used to just show country/state, now it's hidden unless a button is clicked) for those that play the game on stream. ^^
I think in general some essential bugfixes is ok (like things that broke, game-breaking bugs...) but no new features or anything like that ^^ I have seen people with post-jam versions, but are labeled as such.

This is really cool. I like that you got a scoreboard in, really adds incentive to try again. Was not expecting the tone change at all for the night swap. Only critical feedback would be it could be a hard to tell if enemies were in damaging range or not.

Very cool idea for a game, and I love the art! The game seemed to get a lot louder during the night section, and maybe that was intentional, but I would personally prefer if the audio were more balanced. But otherwise, very well done!
Incredibly fun gameplay loop! I would love to see this concept flushed out. I loved the art it reminded me of Void Bastards and the gameplay reminded me a bit of Neon White, both games which I love. Fantastic job!
Gave this a good few goes and had fun with it. Both weapons ended up being good, which is nice - as it made playing through it multiple times more appealing. I also tried a blood thirsty strat on my last go, which was less profitable but importantly - more NOBLE! Dante, protector of the people!
It's a game with a really cool idea. I don't like FPS, but I rated it fairly. The day to night change mechanic was a great tactic to make the game more interesting. It really wouldn't be so interesting if it was just the delivery part. Art and audio are very well fitted together. I also liked how the art changes from day to night.

Really fun game. Couldn't quite beat Ricky but ill take my victory over @ruruie as #1 in Ontario. The music is a bop and the artstyle works great. Optimizing your run to deliver as much as possible is a lot of fun
Some things that could be worked on if you continue this post jam - Adding some way to see packages without needing to rely on the minimap - Patching out camping. Unfortunately still rules as the dominant strategy even with the enemies shooting bullets (Since on the upper rooftops only the big guys shoot bullets and then you can target them / let them be trapped by the smaller ones so they cant get to you) - Adding some invincibility after the player gets hit. Often when you mess up and something starts damaging you you take a ton of damage or can get 1 shot especially in the later days

The movement isn't smooth and it feels like I have slow fps framerate, it defenetly need improvments. Graphics is good, not the best, but all is readable in this fast type gameplay, and it's exactrly what it needs.
I really like this contrast of day and night, it was really fun! This arrows on the road and jump points very good. I get the vibes of old tony hawk games when the map is small but you can do something interesting on it. Games very different but the vibes is the same :) Last level speed is sooo good!
I finished 9 days, and I thought I was very good at this game and get ~1400 Total Earns, but here I see others records xD that okay, but a little dissapointed)
I see a potential issue that players can just survive a night and don't deliver anything, and only do it during the day. If it's what you planed that's ok then. But may be restrict this to 1 or 2 "must have" deliveries to finish the night and go to the day? It's also issues with find delivery sometimes, especially when the box on another corner of the map. And I get a bug where box fly away from map :)
I get the most fun when I delivered boxes by night, I don't just survived.I try to get delivery :) Imagine that it can be emergency box, and you must to deliver it at any cost - so that's how I play the night :) After day 6 it was a real mess! Totally one of the best games in this LD, Great work, guys!

What a weird ass game in the best of ways haha, the night time came out of nowhere for me, it was so unexpected. I really like that you kept that a secret for players to find out.
Pretty fun as well, though I would've liked to know why monsters come out at night to become more immersed. Anyway, great job guys!

Missed the target while throwing a box... it stuck on the roof.
Missed target a second time... two boxes stuck on the same damn roof.
No other boxes spawned... I couldn't reach those boxes for four days until I increased my speed to maximum.
Great experience I had.
My rating for this game is... Five stuck on the roof boxes out of five. Great job!

aight, that was sick! love the switch in gameplay between day and night and the mailbox shotgun idea was awesome. Only thing I would have liked is option to turn off head bob while moving and maybe longer boost duration but fewer of them. I was getting a little motion sickness towards the end and I think the constant change in speed was a big part of that
