LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Time to Run by Joror 2020-10-11T15:38:50Z

Good concept with the whole top down / reviving stuff. But I really didn't like the movement / punching mecanics. They felt really strange.

Stuck In Paris by CocaPasteque 2020-10-07T09:46:02Z

WOW! Very nice, addictive and beautifuly polishd gameplay! Perfectly done!

Cycle of Pawmerce by graebor 2020-10-05T19:09:38Z

Graphics and sound are awesome. But the controls are very hard to operate on an QWERTZ Keyboard. Flexible controls would have helped it alot.

HamStuck by Tommy 2020-10-07T18:01:41Z

I love the little wiggly tail of your hamster :D But the "death" is a bit too much for such a cute little game :D

Time Raider by Almax 2020-10-07T17:18:34Z

Wow, very beautifully polished game! The animations and the movement is very smooth. The mechanics are very addictiv, i'll probably play some more later. The core mechanic with the 3 doors is very well implemented and a great idea! I like the humorous texts when you die :D

Choo Choo Circuit by Elemental Zeal Game Studios 2020-10-08T15:15:43Z

Really good looking puzzle game! The audio with the wooshes and stuff also fit very well. The theme was hit perfectly I think. For my self the puzzles were a bit to hard, as I already failed at the first one :D

Princess stop the princes by winniehell 2020-10-07T09:13:56Z

Great graphics, it fit the theme and the humor perfectly!

TRAM OF WISHES by katamary 2020-10-05T18:47:20Z

Wow, the artwork is breathtaking!

Emile's Journey by qui 2020-10-05T18:12:20Z

Very nice graphics and audio! I was very impressed with the amount of detail put into it in only 72h! But it was a bit confusing at first to get the hang of the controls / gameplay.

Loop Frogs by GaryS 2020-10-07T12:26:09Z

Great game! Probably one of the most exciting ones so far! Had much fun playing it !

All A Board by Jake White 2020-10-11T17:41:31Z

Beautiful graphics for a jam! You really did great with all the cardboard monsters! Also the sound went great with the gameplay. One big negative was the mouse sensitivity, for myself it was waaaaay to sensitiv i kept spinning in circles at the beginning :D

PARAD🕑X SECURITY by grizeldi 2020-10-07T12:07:02Z

Funny graphics, suits the game well. It is really hard at first to get what you should be doing. A bit longer intro / How to play section would have been nice.

Roundabout Rowdy by Andreas Roschal 2020-10-11T17:25:34Z

Hahah awesome. That was a really fun game to play! Great job! The audio was really inviting and fit the game well. The gameplay feels really fun. You really can tell that it's not meant to be serious!

Great jobs guys!

Temporal Objects by LemonLimeLife 2020-10-11T17:19:50Z

The graphics are nice for a jam project! As is the audio. But the controls and the whole gameplay were very buggy when I played them. Concept is pretty interesting (But not new). I think for this idea you would probably need more time than only a 72h jam :D

Racecar racecaR by Russ Moonbase 2020-10-11T17:36:30Z

The graphics and the audio were good. Except the car sound made some funny things in my headset that I couldn't explaing (some stuttering ?). The gameplay was ok, the physics were a bit tricky to deal with. The theme implementation was a farfetched but thats ok :D We need this to get some difference between all 1500+ games :D

JACKASTER by DS Nahogara 2020-10-07T11:26:18Z

Very nice artstyle! The music was just awesome. But the gameplay was a bit boring for my taste. You could just run through everyone and kill jack. But overall nice work !

Crocodial by David-Liddelow 2020-10-05T18:27:42Z

Very fun little game. The implementation of the theme was a new one to me. Very innovative.

Stuck by SnailRhymer 2020-10-07T11:06:45Z

I really liked the artstyle! Got stuck after the computer screen(At the traffic lights). Well done!

TIME TO DANCE! by Savvy Community 2020-10-07T11:22:19Z

Great game :D Very nice music and color effects. It all fits perfectly together with the theme and the dance animations. Very well done !

Lupe by Nachodlv 2020-10-12T15:37:22Z

Really simple mechanic but hard to master! Nice jam game :D

Chronometry by PrincessChooChoo 2020-10-05T18:21:06Z

Very fun, challanging puzzles. The style fits the game perfectly. But the connection to the theme was hard to see.

Exit Only by alpharock6 2020-10-07T09:04:35Z

Wow very impressive puzzle game for a GameJam. The puzzles were not that hard, but very creative and fun. All in all it is really awesome for a Jam!

Foolish Me by Raeya 2020-10-12T11:13:04Z

Very interesting mechanics. I couldn't really get were the loop was but anyway. The graphics were solid and the gameplay made fun :D But the audio, it drove me crazy after 3-4 minutes :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-05T17:04:24Z

Hey, sorry to hear that you have problems. You have to select the track with the numbers 1 - 4 on your keyboard :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T10:34:26Z

@ds-nahogara Thank you very much ! It's really nice to here such feedback !

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T12:08:18Z

@snailrhymer Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes thats true. Maybe the game could have had some more options / freedom for the player. We'll take this into account if we would take it further :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T12:27:19Z

@toulou Hey man, sorry for that. You can rotate the parts with E and R. Maybe you can try it that way. We did not really thought about laptops, you're right :/

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T12:42:56Z

@toulou Thank you very much!

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T13:27:52Z

@bauke-regnerus Glad you liked it ! Thats a very good idea. If we are taking the project further, we will surely consider that!

@justcamh Thank you for playing, yes i caught it live :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T17:50:22Z

@tad @raffe @vem Thank you all for your feedback and your time!

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-07T18:43:15Z

@stracker Thanks for your feedback. Ye we heard some arguments for both variants. Maybe in a further version there would be two different gamemodes to play. One with time limit and one without.

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-08T08:41:34Z

@mikoziq Thank you very much. I'll remember to do that :P The switch input is a good one, thanks !

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-08T08:42:08Z

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-08T21:07:36Z

@svyatozar Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we sre thinking about maybe porting it to mobile!

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-09T16:55:17Z

@fatsheep Thank you for your feedback! Ye, it gets complicated after a while :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-11T19:27:35Z

@epb9000 Thank you very much for playing and your feedback. Can't agree more. Now after some time and feedback I see that aswell. For a follow up version, we are definetly going to change that.

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-17T10:59:23Z

@flying-dog-fish Thank you for your feedback! Appreciate it. Yes, for a 2nd version it is definetly needing a reset button!

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-17T11:00:32Z

@fadrikalexander Thanks for the feedback. Ye we heard that from some people. If we are doing a 2nd version, we would be implementin 2 different modes. One with and one without time restrictions.

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-17T17:26:39Z

@sludgekey Thank you for playing and your feedback. Glad you liked it. You can remove the tiles you set with a right-click on them :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-17T19:26:10Z

@arad-hamidsamiee Thank you very much. Yes we are thinking about maybe a mobile or nintendo switch release :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-17T19:27:01Z

@leon-oost Thank you very much for the feedback. Really glad you liked it. Good idea! Maybe we'll add something in a 2nd version!

Car Looper by Snotax 2020-10-27T17:47:12Z

@rhoff95 Thank you for your Feedback. I'll surely consider those things in a future version :D

Car Looper by Snotax 2021-07-27T11:38:21Z

@ds-nahogara @hi-im-greg @raffe @arad-hamidsamiee About a year later... Car Looper is available on Steam as a full game :D Maybe some of you would like to check it out! https://store.steampowered.com/app/1543650/Car_Looper/

Night Job by algodoogle 2020-10-05T18:32:16Z

Graphics were really nice.

Stop Motion by Cafe Ducha Siesta 2020-10-08T15:06:42Z

Simple but well executed mechanics. The only thing is, that it feels quite repetitive after 3 Laps if you have not finished the level. So I got bored quite fast. But all in all, simple but good entry.

Escape A Curved World by Feraligatr 2020-10-11T17:33:19Z

It's really hard to rate after I've seen that you had some prepared online assets in use. Now I don't know really what you've done in this 72h. The concept of the game was pretty interesting, but the implementation lacks quite some things. The sidewards movements feel kind of "whackey". Don't know how to describe it. So does the shootin / attacking part. It gets boring quite fast. I like the graphics and the artstyle of the game. With a bit more time this could be beautiful. The audio was awesome, but I think you didn't do this yourself. So were the animations, same thing here.

I think it was ok for a gamejam project, but it needs some big improvements.

Escape A Curved World by Feraligatr 2020-10-11T19:31:16Z

@feraligatr Because you wrote about textures, skyboxes and animations. So it's a bit difficult to see what exactly you meant. Bit thats no problem at all :D

CircleRC by SwiftVector 2020-10-11T15:54:16Z

I really liked the artstyle in this one. It also felt very well to play, even though it was very frustrating at first :P

LoopIn by Dani Tufeld 2020-10-11T15:34:34Z

Fun little game. Didn't think i play so many levels as I did :D Got something interesting here.

Looping DefDrone 47 by Eddi_Mitchoum 2020-10-08T15:30:13Z

Solid for your first work. The audio was great ! You should have included a score at the top to keep it interesting while playing. Also for my taste you had to little control over the game itself, so it got boring quite fast.

All in all, solid for your first game. Keep it up and try to improve yourself!

Jump on Ghost by Bafanada 2020-10-05T16:19:12Z

Great concept! Really fun to play once you get the mechanics!

Looped by Leo Red 2020-10-07T09:55:42Z

Great color concept and idea! Altough the controls with the arrow keys are a bit strange to play with. Overall, good job!

Hamster Dash by Jamster 2020-10-07T09:39:11Z

Great idea. But the camera perspective wasn't ideal and the floor texture really confused my eyes sometimes :D But overall, great work!

Plock in Clock ! by Victor Chiorean 2020-10-11T15:50:49Z

For a first timer, this was very good. The graphics are a good fit for this type a game. But I did not like the controls. Space as a clone key was very hard for my stupid brain :D I always pressed it to jump. And secondly the drag after you let go of the A / D key is way to hard. Sometimes my character even died 3 times in a row because he kept his velocity after death. There are some things you should polish, but all in all it is a well done first try :D

Returning Home by hansj 2020-10-07T09:34:13Z

Really nice music and graphics. The gameplay was not that interesting to me personally. But great work !

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Akubi by Almax 2022-04-07T16:33:52Z

Wow, very nice graphics and awesomce audio! Very well done for a game jam! The platforming was also solid but nothing special. Very well done!

Curse of the Blood Crystal by mde 2022-04-05T10:52:27Z

I really liked the audio and the overall feel to the world. The theme was also implemented quite ok. Nothing really innovating but also nothing bad.

Good job!

22h38 by Katutt 2022-04-07T16:41:45Z

Really loved the artstyle. The audio was fitting to. But i really HATED the controls :D Just couldn't wrap my head around it.

OBRUTA by Dmitry Kaidash 2022-04-05T11:10:06Z

WoW! Maybe this is not the most fun game to play in this Jam, but it definetly is the prettiest one so far! Amazing atmosphere (Sound is great, even though you didn't do it yourself), graphics are just amazing! Very impressive in this short time. The theme aswell was perfectly hit.

Great Job!

Rapid Reentry by ygrichman 2022-04-09T10:01:14Z

The atmosphere with the sound and the "moonscape" is really pretty. But for gameplay it would have been nice to get some kind of intro/explaination at the beginning.

Apo K'Lypse IV by Magic_mike 2022-04-05T11:00:36Z

Interesting concept and good music! I think the progress of the game / ui was a bit inconclusive. Nice to see circular gravity!

Somnokid by Saturnyoshi 2022-04-07T16:38:36Z

Well this game is just awesomely polished. Some could say its even to much for a game jam :D But I've seen that you were an giant team of participants.

I didn't quite like the gameplay, but thats just personal preference. The sound, art and everything else was just close to perfect :D

RAD by oramun 2022-04-05T10:55:21Z

The visuals and the audio were very fitting. But the controls did not feel very good. To slow, sticky and unresponsive. Good job on the atmosphere tho.

Sun Chaser (Survival Platformer) by Tom Kun 2022-04-09T10:09:01Z

Funny idea, liked how the character looked and the mood of the world. But the "Platforming" controls felt a bit off. They were heavy and unpercise.

The lighting of the world was on point.

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-04T20:30:37Z

@legolula Thanks for the feedback. Glad you had fun!

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T04:12:05Z

@leorid All assets are made by us, except for the skybox I think. But thats a really small part :D

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T04:26:28Z

@leorid Thank you very much :)

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T10:19:54Z

@junklab Thank you for the feedback :D You could say "It's inevitable" ;)

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T10:21:06Z

@osh-studio Yes we did them all ourselfs. Thank you very much for the feedback! Glad you had fun.

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-05T10:21:26Z

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-09T09:56:54Z

@szkocka Thank you for playing and the feedback!

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-09T09:57:33Z

@archimagus Thank you for your feedback. Yes it's surely possible that there are some bugs left in the shipped version :D

The Endless Junkyard by Snotax 2022-04-10T13:35:22Z

@zsharpfire Hahah true, balancing is quite a challange in game jams :D Thanks for your feedback!

BaraRun by DerekBell 2022-04-05T15:04:06Z

Got a good laugh at that one! Well done!

Good theme implementation, good music choice, cute little player character.

But the jumping / grappling felt a little off fore me. Hard to describe, it was very difficult to control.

All in all, good job.

LD53 — Delivery

Boxbrawl Delivery by Cruise Elroy 2023-05-02T06:33:42Z

Wow, really good implementation. Sound, graphics and gameplay match perfectly!

Train Sort by Max S. 2023-05-01T14:15:28Z

Good to see some other games once in a while, nice idea!

Dante's Delivery Service by Scott Steffes 2023-05-02T06:54:23Z

Ok, WTF. That came unexpected :D Fun little twist.

Me and my washing machine by Quentin5 2023-05-01T13:49:47Z

Same issue :/ Sad

Diner Dash by Snotax 2023-05-01T14:16:32Z

@leo-barber-dev Thanks for the feedback. The prepared foods get replaced randomly over time :D Thanks for playing!

Diner Dash by Snotax 2023-05-01T14:27:25Z

@kgurniak91 Yes, maybe we could have added keyboard support. The way it is now, it's easy to play on mobile aswell, so we thought we let it this way :D

Diner Dash by Snotax 2023-05-15T11:08:32Z

@sleepystudios Thank you very much for the feedback. Yes we would have to work on the pickup logic if we would develop a new version.

Joy by Neollok 2023-05-01T14:06:50Z

Very beautiful graphics and the sound works too! But for my test it was waaay to slow and i got bored way to easily.

But still, good job!

Drifting Trailer by martinboue 2023-05-02T14:16:45Z

Good controls, felt smooth.

Angel Envelope by leking 2023-05-05T22:14:22Z

I'm guessing that you are very early into your game dev journey. So congratulations on finishing a game in time. Now to the game: I think you have some good ideas and concepts. The sound effects are hillarious and I love this. But the controls for one are not intuitive at all and are also not properly implemented.

But as always, good job on finishing the jam.

Goblin Delivery Inc. by The Hat Guy 2023-05-01T14:30:29Z

Very impressive for a Compo Game! I really liked the art and audio!

Delivery Witch by kgurniak91 2023-05-01T14:09:57Z

Cute idea :D

LD57 — Depths

Mirror City by vidarn 2025-04-11T13:58:28Z

Very nice entry. Very good polished feel to it. But I feel like a was to stupid for this game :D

Drill-Off by Antti Haavikko 2025-04-09T08:43:32Z

Wow that entry actually surprised me! It is actually very creative and I really liked it. Maybe there could be a bit more explanation about the mechanics / tiles and stuff at the beginning, but the rest is very well executed.

Pack by Jeremy Ryan 2025-04-09T08:38:19Z

Very nice and cozy implementation of a classic game. I'd say there are a few things missing like rotating gameobject and maybe a bit better visual indication on where to put the items, I sometimes struggled to find the correct pixels.

But a very beautiful jam entry!

Depthshift by Snotax 2025-04-09T17:31:23Z

@kerdelos Thank you very much. Yes we are aware of that :D A lot of feedback has revolved around eye strain. I think it would need a lot of experimenting and polishing to get this to work in a full game.

Depthshift by Snotax 2025-04-11T07:40:01Z

@breadstick Thank you for the kind review. Glad you liked the idea!

Depthshift by Snotax 2025-04-11T21:33:08Z
