LD46 — Keep it alive

Faith Keeper by Emkani 2020-04-21T12:09:06Z

i really enjoyed playing this. The mechanic of attaching the upgrades directly to the towers was great. My only negative was that the lighting sometimes made it hard to see the drops and at speed i sometimes struggled to get down between the pews, but that might just be me :)

Elements by Sir Magic 2020-04-21T16:10:44Z

Great game, the movement is resposive and smooth, the shooting gave loads of feed back and the particles effect looked brilliant. I also liked the affect when you destroy the funiture.

Night Keeper by SleepyStudios 2020-04-22T15:25:57Z

I really enjoyed this game. I thought the mechanic of firing the arrow through the fire to extend you vision was really unique and the lighting really set the mood

FIRE-MUST-BURN by TheCze 2020-04-21T13:58:55Z

My old computer definitely had a problem when there was loads of fire on the screen but that is no reflection on the game. Very simple yet engaging.

Keep Her Light by arche-san 2020-04-21T12:33:22Z

The story telling on this told through both the art and music was very compelling. It really gave a sense of sadness and longing that is very rarely seen i games. Thanks really enjoyed it.

Story of Lost Demon by Epsulon 2020-04-22T16:02:43Z

The simple art background paired with the more detailed characters was fantastic. With a swooshing sound effect when you attacked and some more feedback when you attacked the enemies this would be a great game. The speed of the character felt fluid and the story was good. If I had to find one fault the foreground ground could do with a little more detail to make it easier to see where you are running as in some situations the fall through floor looked very similar to the normal floor. I died alot on the spikes so maybe its just me. If this was made into a full game i would play this alot.

Necromancer by krakadushka 2020-04-22T15:08:56Z

This is a very solid game. I really liked the mood that the lighting created and the art and graphics were great. I failed the first time as my men ran away but wanted to come back and see i could make the most dispicable team(which kicked those bandit ass!). The stories on the Graves were interesting and really gave a sense of what the characters were. Nice game.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deep Cross by badpaul34 2021-05-01T14:06:27Z

Really great and simple puzzle that i could not solve... Think that says more about me than the game lol.

Great style and Audio feedback.

Shoot Them Deeper by pndaa 2021-05-01T15:18:58Z

Love the synthwave vibe to this. This game is very polished and has great controls and gameplay.

The Rim by jokerbomb 2021-05-01T10:10:14Z

The diaglogue and story elements to this were really good and i really liked the art and graphics. I think all it is missing for me was some UI for the armour and health of the tether as it makes it hard to decide what to choose from the crates sometimes. I also had a bug with the orange flying thinngs where i could not kill it but when i moved down further it started attacking again and then i could. Great game!

Cyber ass hack by 55_maximus_55 2021-05-01T11:21:51Z

Love the old style C64 graphics and the car reminds me of Outrun or JaguarXJ220 however the difficulty ramp was a bit to high and could only get passed the first few corners before i crashed. I think with a slower speed ramp this game would be really fun.

Diving Heroes by Guilb 2021-04-27T14:29:44Z

Really enjoyed the music on this, set the atmosphere very well. Also thought the colours and animations really suited the style of game. Echoing what other poeple have said about the controls and gameplay, i had a few issues working out how to use the 2nd guy to slingshot down and found it and working out how to do it without losing all my health.

That aside i really enjoyed playing it.

DiscQualified by Natwomb 2021-05-01T11:12:31Z

Apologies but i had a real hard time getting the disc to fly anywhere. I pressed space and it started moving back and forth which is what i expected and then pressed it again as it was moving forward but it went back into the speed animation. If i double press the space bar it just drops the disc to the floor. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong :( I think some more UI queues may help.

That aside the UI and game look very good :P

Bloogy by Keppu 2021-05-01T14:15:15Z

An interesting and innovative game. It felt polished and unique.

Nyctofobia by Cubanfrog 2021-04-28T15:22:35Z

The mood and atmosphere of this game is great and i love the way the music seems to build the further you go. Its very tense wondering where out of the darkness the terrors are going to come from. I also think the art style with the soft lines lends itself very much to this kind of game.

Very interesting game and enjoyed it, thanks.

Deep Love for Chocolate by TwistedHawk 2021-05-01T15:00:35Z

The music for this really reminds me of something like dizzy. The art and gaphics were wonderful. I thought the second level needed less randomness for the enemies as they would just come out of nowhere and destroy you without any ability to get away or dodge XD

Sblaaf!! by Thob 2021-04-27T21:54:19Z

I thought this game was great and i could keep playing for ages. Simple to understand, quick to pick up and great execution. Awesome.

..can't get the music out of my head now though :P

In Search of Paradise by Magnanix 2021-05-01T09:39:00Z

The boss fight was awesome and very engaging. You have all the elements for continuing to develop this game should you wish to.

I struggled a bit on the first few levels to get my bearing as everythng was a little dark. I suspect that with more time and polish this will be really good.

Deep Dark Deadly Forest by Itskdog 2021-05-01T10:57:55Z

Really liked the Audio and Graphics. The management system was very well implemented, the only issue i had was by managing the task directly from the villagers i had to check each one all the time to see what i had assigned the tasks to them and ensure that i was doing enough of each. When one died collecting stone for example i had to go through and see which other i had also assigned to it to worr out how many i had sent to their deaths :P. As someone already mentioned maybe a UI section to see how many are assigned to what task would be handy but i like the idea of the bell to call them all back.

It would also be noce to see what resources are required for things as i tried to upgrade my storehouse a few time s but could not wokr out what resources i needed or maybe i messed it :P

DeepHouse by RexGame 2021-05-01T12:27:06Z

The art and music for this game were great. I did have the game crash on me after i had pressed all the pictures a few times. Got past the first room but cuold not solve from the 2nd. One frustrating thing for me was the tect highlght colour as it confused me a few times which option i was picking as it seemed the black was the highlight rather than the white. Maybe some audio queues when you click on the buttons?

Deeper by EOShadows 2021-05-01T09:52:46Z

The UI, level transitions and graphics were great and very polished. I was not sure about the music when i first started playing it as ut seemed so slow but as i kept on playing it started to grow on me :) I think all it needs is some more SFX on things like the rocks sliding or the breaking the wall.

Elevator Goes Up? by Generic Games 2021-04-27T21:17:52Z

Music was very good and really reminded me of the old Sim city games. I suspect though you are missing looping it as after a couple of minutes playing it stopped.

The upgrade system was intuitive and simple to understand and i think with more time and options it will be really good.

Nice game, thanks.

GraveDigger by nosfer 2021-05-01T13:41:09Z

Nice! The music was very cool and i liked the concept. The player control need a little refinement as it feels a bit floaty but the over game was very good :)

Deep dark dungeon by ukra174 2021-04-27T11:23:44Z

Hi, Love the music and the design. Struggled a bit to learn the controls but once i got the hang of it I enjoyed it.

Hometown Helper by DWink 2021-05-01T09:13:11Z

Music was great and i really liked the concept. Story elements were funny and it was enjoyable to play. The UI is the main focus for this type of game so i think if you were going to continue development it would be nice to add some more colours or visual elements. For example one of the items just showed as COM and i did not know what it was.

Vox Machina by MikeW 2021-04-29T09:03:00Z

Very moody and atmospheric. The music and tone made it very eerie. It took me a bit of time to get the mechanics but maybe that's just me :P. Great job!

White lies by rafatic 2021-04-28T15:04:56Z

I enjoyed playing this, it reminded me o the old text adventures like Zork! I liked the idea of the story. There were a couple of things that might need looking at.

1) Some of the text seems to repeat which breaks a bit of the story a bit. 2) The name on the dialogue seems to have moved down on my screen covering the image but that might just be my browser. 3) I got the what i believe is the final room but the Demon King killed me and called me a liar but then i was unable to start from the beginning again. It would be nice if there were a Reset button to go back to the beginning or the last decision.

Deeper and deeper by Adam Jewell 2021-05-01T10:35:14Z

Interesting game. I liked the concept and art style but the i was not keen on the audio in the background. I liked that the game levels seemed infinite but there is an argument for procedural generation for the levels as the same level becomes a bit stale after you have done it a few times (i did however get to level 22 before turing it off :P)

Raid' Simulator by alpacalypse 2021-05-01T12:08:43Z

This is a really good idea and i think with some more mechanics it would be great. Like choosing a class to add variety and adds during the battles.

Goblin's Cave by Heine Hohenhart 2021-04-27T15:04:02Z

Really liked the art style and the mood of this game. The music and sound really gives me the chills especially when the rat attacks you. I also like the idea of the key combinations for picking up the gems and felt that it was really intuitive. Great fun :P

Don't Pull It Out by Shin0nome 2021-05-01T14:53:55Z

Really interesting game mechanics, juggling your health against killing all the ememies and moving to dodge attacks. Really enjoyed the game.

DrillDrill: The Quest for Diamonds by Hoeleboele 2021-04-29T08:41:32Z

Very interesting little game. Simple, fun and enjoyed playing it. Only thing i found was that the holes left behind cam above the ground sometimes which broke the immersion a bit but did not take away from the enjoyment of the game. Nice work!

The Shrinking by Rayo 2021-05-01T13:23:17Z

Good job, really like the mood and ambience of this game. I thought the character movement was very twitchy and it may have been a good idea to use space to jump rather than W as sometimes it made the double jump mechanics a lot harder... but maybe thats just me. I did have a pug at the start, when you start to run you get increased motion blur affect. Music was very good though and really added something to the atmosphere.

MinorMiner by Trabasura 2021-05-01T11:56:46Z

I like the style and the 8bit music but it was too repetitive and became annoying after a time playing. I also agree with the other comments that the blocks are a bit hard to break sometimes. It would make it more readable when you hit a harder block to maybe have some different particles affects or audio feedback. Though i am impressed you managed to precedurally generate the levels, Nice Work!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Peace Council by guoboism 2022-04-15T16:02:42Z

Great game. The graphics and mechanics were very polished. Similar to some other comments but i did struggle to understand how the cards that i was playing changed the different zones each turn and what the random events were. Good effort though and i think with some further development would be a really good game that i would play again.

SUPER 2 Late by ilikescifi 2022-04-15T16:36:55Z

The mechanics of the game were very good and I thought the game was very polished. I think it would have benefited from more levels to make it longer. Perhaps you have to recharge the laser or something. Liked the twist at the end though :P

Crash Override by DanC2236 2022-04-06T12:18:12Z

Fun concept and very different. It took a quite a few attempts to get the commands right, I'm not nimble fingered enough to keep up with the commands but i really enjoyed trying :P The music really ramps up the intensity as you are playing. My only gripe would be that the learning curve is very steep and on most runs i ended up with no score so cannot gauge whether i did OK or crap. Loved it though :)

OhNova by Pixelhurricane 2022-04-15T17:00:35Z

Liked the concept but struggled a bit with working out what all the controls did and what to do which definitely killed me a few times :P But really enjoyed it thanks.

Death is The End by Wren Erickson 2022-04-15T15:45:03Z

Really enjoyed this. Tbh i couldn't get past the 2nd level on easy mode so Hard Mode must be crazy. Music really fitted with the drop of the blocks. Great game thanks.

Last Bastion by sansman01 2022-04-06T17:57:07Z

I played this in a little smaller browser and found that i could not read some of the text when upgrading the gates / towers etc. However i really enjoyed the game loop and i thought the graphics were brilliant.

Late At Night by Kora0h 2022-04-06T11:14:17Z

Think the work rates and tiredness might have been nice to show on the HUD but that aside the audio is great and graphics are really good and i like the way the character moves around the scene. Like the mecanic of balancing doing work and staying awake. Goo game :)

The Great Filter by T C 2022-04-15T16:50:29Z

I loved the rolling nature of "the board" and the concept as a whole. Think its a pity you didn't get a chance to implement the ability to fire without moving as i think it would have made it more strategic however the mechanics were really well implemented and it looks great. :)

Fight The Darkness by Specturnal 2022-04-15T16:15:06Z

Really fun game. Felt frantic and loved the weapon designs.

Hydroponica by Cakestorm 2022-04-06T12:41:09Z

The concept of this game is really good and the mecahnical components feel solid. I thought the colours and art was really interesting. Where i got stuck was understanding how the CO2 machines affected the other levels. I placed loads of machines and it did not seem to affect the gameplay. Maybe some arrows to show if rates.

Road Rage Mage by Pious 2022-04-15T16:26:51Z

The art and music for this game is definitely the star. To begin with i struggled to work out what i needed to do until I found the buttons on the UI and even after reading the descriptions i wasn't sure how to work out the best one to play each turn to get a better outcome. Great game though :)

The Alchemist by Khill 2022-04-06T08:14:22Z

The visuals on this game were really good and loved the music. Did find it a little hard to realise what the affects of the potions meant but once i had got it i really enjoyed it. Great game :)

SUPER CAR EXTREME by AcroDEV 2022-04-15T17:05:47Z

Thought the music was really good on this. I think that a scoring system would work really well on this. Well done though, a solid game :)

Death Is Inevitable by TherealMoebius 2022-04-06T17:41:32Z

Ha ha, played it a few times and didn't see the monster then suddenly he was round a corner, gave me a heart attack lol. Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this game and the audio worked really well. One thing i was not sure about was the red box that seemed to appear round the level at times. Great game though thanks :)

I Sink Not by eeldam 2022-04-06T13:27:28Z

The Gilbi-esc art style with the pastelly background really made this game for me. The music complemented it as well. Only gripe is that sometimes the bits go through stages before the hammer comes up and it is hard to tell if they're on the way out. Other than that I loved this game, thanks :)

The Bay of the Ineffable by HendrikLober 2022-04-15T17:18:30Z

Wow, I'm sure my first game was not this polished lol. Loved the art style and the concept. The mechanics were solidly implemented and agree with another comment that a score would be a good addition to allow you to measure how good you did from run to run. Great game though :)

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

UniVerse by oramun 2022-10-04T23:19:46Z

@bloodyaugust, @stepan-mulenok, @erikengineengineer. Thanks for the comments. I have fixed the WebGL build so the game should be playable now .. i hope :P

J-Menuing by nyxkn 2022-10-05T12:24:06Z

Like the idea and the music was good. Found a bug that if i keep on clicking on the enemy when attacking my character on that line moves off the screen.

Ruins of Resurrection by MorePixels 2022-10-05T12:05:48Z

Liked the idea and mechanics of slowly getting further through the level and unlocking the next part. The musics worked really well to provide a bit of mystery and was just the right length loop. One thing i spotted was whe the level loads a white box appears briefly from the top right of the screen.

Overall really enjoyed it thanks.

Wake The Beast by ChrisDeDev 2022-10-05T12:18:34Z

Liked the idea and the graphics. It took me a bit to figure out what happens when the beast hits you so maybe a little a bit of text somewhere to help.

LD55 — Summoning

SaaS :: Summoning as a Service by HolySparks 2024-04-18T20:08:00Z

Hi, great game. I really liked the art and audio. I did get a bit frustrated with the controls being different for pick up and drop which made it all the more frustrating. However that aside it was a goo unique idea.

The Summonator by oramun 2024-04-18T14:00:51Z

Hi all, thanks very much for checking out our little game and giving us valuable feedack. As a team we really enjoyed making this one and are thinking of picking this up as a full time project. Your feedback will help us make it even better. :) @sodoj - Your kind words are much appreciated. The main menu UI is so often a neglected part and I did not expect it to work so good myslf to be honest.

@derile - thanks for taking the time to play it :)

@owenmdvd - I agree. It needs to be more dynamic so that it can be played over and over with a different experience everytime. Was thinking of maybe a Roguelike approach.

@zevsehg - I think your right. Maybe need to spend some time making the summons more affective and the shooting less to change the way the summons impact the game.

@congusbongus - We did plan on having different enemies which would change as the waves went on and also a boss fight once the portals were destroyed all destroyed. However, as we all know, things have to go due to time contraints. Now we have time to work on it i think we will spend some time inplementing them and see what sticks.

Again thanks for all the kind workds and quality feedback.

Do NOT Summon the Kraken by Willby 2024-04-17T12:57:03Z

This little game was super fun to play. I liked the voices of the characters and the graphic style. Agree with the other commenters that the text was a little hard to read on my small screensize and i think there was some z - layer glitches with the chef. But overall this made me feel nostalgia to ols SCUMM games.

Summoning Station by DanB18 2024-04-17T12:18:52Z

Super fun game and really loved the concept. The graphics were amazing and cute. There were some instances where i was sure i had put the correct guys in the correct portals but it still killed them. I could see this being a full game with main levels and modifiers.

SUPER NECROLORDS by Dorren 2024-04-18T21:39:30Z

This gave me robotron flashbacks. I loved the sound and 80's arcade style.

Démon Puzzle Attack by Roroto Sic 2024-04-18T12:34:38Z

REally enjoyed this game and could see myself loosing hours on a full game. The music was really cool. Only issue i was that the game doesn't end when the blocks reach the top.

Shadow Summoners by Shenon 2024-04-17T11:50:10Z

Hi, music made me laugh when i realised it was We Three Kings. Pixel art was great and the concept was really good. Controls messed me up a little as it says right click to summon and it is actually left click. Also probably needs to show the cooldowns and the summons and how long left in the wave. Maybe also some feedback on the summons/enemies when they are hit. However great entry Well Done!

Conjurer's Quest by Dywanix 2024-04-18T21:54:39Z

The game was great. Some of the puzzles were really challenging and i was impressed with how many you managed to get created in the time. Really enjoyed this tanks :)

Welcoming the WORLD-EATER by coolasjake 2024-04-18T21:21:12Z

The sound for this game was very atmospheric and the hand drawn creatures look really good. Only criticism is it didn't scale very well on my screen even with the download however it still really enjoyed trying to figure out all the combinations to summon. Thanks for a great game :)

Goblin Hunt by Restless Moggy 2024-04-18T11:26:38Z

This one is right up my street, I like the idea of a reverse tower defence game. This concept has loads of room for expansion. As it is, you could probably use some balancing as even with the lowest level hero can get through all the goblins so it make the other buttons a bit redundant but with different classes and modifiers i could see this gae working really well. :)

LD59 — Signal

Bitcatcher by freamdev 2026-05-07T22:09:45Z

This is a super challenging game. Took me a few tries to realise the goal and I still got it in my head that the red ones were bad and did't use them properly (Which probably made it harder :P) However i really enjoyed it and the graphics were great and ppolished.

Signal Steve by Isaac Hisey 2026-04-22T11:11:16Z

I really thought the mechanic of changing the signal to open the doors was really unique and i really enjoyed the puzzle aspects of the game. Fun game thanks

Gecko's Odyssey by RAFFE 2026-05-07T20:28:09Z

This is a really innovative idea and fits the theme really well. Love the colours and the audio is great.

We're Going to Hell for This by very dark lord 2026-04-30T19:42:41Z

This game is such an interesting concept and right up my street. I love the music, it works so well with this dark theme and the bookends the humour of the dialogue great. I also like the risk reward aspect of trying to save people from the tracks whilst picking up the items that they need. Great well made game, thanks.

MIXLAKE by Raivk 2026-05-07T21:50:58Z

This game is super polished and a very interesting concept. I found it a bit finicky sometimes to tune the rod in as the dial would keep moving over the perfect position but loved all the music it was so chill.

Lights of the Living Dead by Madbarron 2026-05-07T21:35:49Z

Love the concept of this game. Even with the space key i could not remember which buttons changed which lights and so ended up in complete carnage. The art and style of this game were amazing.

Beam of the Fallen by Jvdwijk 2026-05-07T21:18:08Z

This is a really innovative idea and i really enjoyed playing it. Audio was good too.

Steampunk Ship by CodeRaurus 2026-04-30T19:10:47Z

Thanks for the game. I really enjoyed the frantic running between rooms and the art style, colours and music are really good. Without reading your comments I was not sure what some of the rooms did and sometimes you do not see the enemies at all as they are off the screen when the fire or you kill them. However I think it was a fun little game :P

Cold Night by Janku 2026-05-07T21:03:44Z

The hand drawn art style on this really lends to the creepyness. Love it. The lighting also worked brilliantly as event when looking straight at the enemies they would go into dark areas and I would not know whether I had killed them or not lol

Ping and Panic by Kabura 2026-05-07T20:52:24Z

Really cool game with lots of juice. The audio and graphics were very clean and the colours super pop out. Only small negative for me was the screen shake once the fire rate goes up is a bit to much however it definitely makes it feel more impactful.

Signal Slasher by Tkap1 2026-04-21T13:18:43Z

Love the graphics and music for this. Its feels like what would happen if an old school roguelike, an endless runner and a rhythm game had a baby. Its surprising hard in places but super fun. Great game

Please, Don't Hang Up (DEMO) by Alex O 2026-05-07T22:01:30Z

The audio on this game really leant into the mysterious vibes and i really liked the dialogue.

Cipher Tower by Teaminister 2026-04-21T13:05:51Z

I really love the drawn style graphics. The audio is great too. My only criticism is the ui feedback on the scene items that are interactable. I think that you need some kind of suitable highlight when mousing over an interactable object with a some feed back when they can be used.

I do very much like the concept and the fact that there is some variance every time you play it.

Signal Jam by McBaker 2026-05-01T11:39:17Z

Liked this a lot. Congratz. The music really suited the game and the gameplay was challenging but solid. Thanks :)

Laser Beat by Gotlib 2026-04-22T11:23:32Z

This was an interesting game. It took me a bit of time on the first level to work out the repeating the audio mechanic but once i got the hang of it I really enjoyed it. I can see a lot of scope for more levels of this game and it could be really addictive puzzler if you decided to carry on with it

Intergalactic Kebab-Hunger by colverok 2026-05-07T20:22:49Z

fun game and liked the ideas and the puzzles
