Nice management/adventure game. The art is awesome. Sound is pretty good. My first run I had no idea what to do but I won on my second run.

GG @coderaurus (and Nalle & Beguilint)! My initial thought was: "Hey,looks a bit like Spiritfahrer...". The graphics and the execution of the concept are on point. My critics are learning the gameplay loop and length of the game. Now stuff happens a bit too fast in the beginning and I'd love to have a few more levels with one or two more unique challenges. (Nevertheless, I got hang of the gameplay on the 3rd round and reached the finish)

I did not find out how to really repair the ship and what the bottom right room was for (maybe these two were connected). Apart from that it reminded me of lovers in a dangerous spacetime just without multiplayer.

Had a hard time understanding every room's role and usefulness, it took me 3 tries but I did it! Nice game, well done :grin:

@nathanial Thanks for playing!

@harujam Thanks for playing! We did discuss the difficulty and pacing but it seems it was still too much.

@bumble Thanks for playing! Haven't played Lovers in Spacetime, another one to the list... Bottom right room, the cargo room, is for picking up parts that you then use to repair rooms. Rooms themselves have health but unfortunately there is visible indication only when they are at zero. A lot under the hood and in our plans that didn't make it.

@colisan Thanks for playing! Almost every room has a function. And we didn't give clear instruction either.

Nice game! It looks like a lot of work went into it. Congratulations on finishing it!

cosmogonicfrog 2026-04-25 11:24

Hey, this was cool! Loved the artwork and the overall feel of the game. I finished it with and without randomisation and I will say that it was a bit hectic with randomisation on. Sometimes it felt like the pirates were relentless but maybe that was the point ;) I managed to scrape through by the end though.

I'll agree that the repairing and resting confused me a bit because I didn't know whether anything was happening when I did it. I can see now from your comment how the repairing works. Maybe adding some tutorial stuff to the description on LD and itch would help with some of the confusion.

Very nice entry. I enjoyed it :)

This game is really fun! I enjoyed the variety of mechanics and got the hang of it pretty quickly. It would have been great if it had been longer. I enjoyed it. Good job! :D

Nice little game. Finished after figuring out the rooms. Graphics were really nice.

coderaurus 2026-04-30 16:53

@anszwa Thanks for playing!

@cosmogonicfrog Thanks for playing and the feedback. The instructions were quite minimal..

@garaptic Hey, thanks for playing!

@jhonny111 Thanks for playing!

oramun 2026-04-30 19:10

Thanks for the game. I really enjoyed the frantic running between rooms and the art style, colours and music are really good. Without reading your comments I was not sure what some of the rooms did and sometimes you do not see the enemies at all as they are off the screen when the fire or you kill them. However I think it was a fun little game :P

pastry-chef 2026-04-30 19:40

Fun entry! I'm not sure what the other rooms did, so I mostly just kept shuttling between shooting pirates and gaining height.

prunus-padis 2026-04-30 19:42

Nice take on this kind of game, though i kinda felt super alone taking care of so huge ship. The graphics are nice, though sometimes hard to distinguish between important parts vs decorations. Took me while to understand that the top thing was a UI element. I can see that you had more plans for systems than you had time to implement a feedback system for :D

captain-awesome 2026-04-30 21:10

After I figured it out, I was a pirate destroying machine!!

ochpochpunk 2026-04-30 21:21

This game is really challenging, but in a good way — it kept me engaged the whole time. The visuals and sound design are especially well done and create a great atmosphere.If you have time, I’d really appreciate it if you could check out my game too

cazik21 2026-04-30 23:02

What a great idea for a game! I really liked it, Great job!

coderaurus 2026-05-01 08:40

@oramun Thanks for playing! We also experienced the enemies remaining off screen. That is not intentional at all. Do you have a wide monitor?

@pastry-chef Thanks for playing. The bottom row has (left-to-right): engine room, coal room and cargo room. Gather coal and fill the engine to keep the ship running. Cargo room is bit more confusing since we didn't finish all the indicators for that. But basically you gather parts from there and head to damaged rooms to fix them.

@prunus-padis Thanks for playing! We also figured this could be a lot more fun and crazy as a co-op game.

@captain-awesome Thank you for playing, welcome aboard the pirate extermination squad!

@ochpochpunk Thank you for playing. No worries, your game will be checked. I usually check those that leave comments and feedback.

@cazik21 Thanks for playing!

haskill 2026-05-01 22:58

The best game I played today, thank you very much!

ping78 2026-05-02 13:57

Enjoyed it quite a bit. Graphics were also well done. Great job.

kack3y 2026-05-03 19:54

Solid entry ! I really like the graphics and music fit the game.

I don't understand the utility of bottom rooms and I wasn't able to understand where is represented of the health of my ship.

Anyway, I managed to succeed after 3 or 4 tries so it is correctly balanced.

coderaurus 2026-05-08 13:36

@haskill Thanks for playing!

@ping78 Thank you for playing!

@kack3y Thanks for playing! Yeah, the health of the ship is vague, unfortunately.
