sry the game is still under construction. I posted instructions and we will upload a version soon that should make more clear what to do :)
With the explanation above, the game should be playable and understandable with the just newly uploaded version
Really nice graphics and I liked the music. I was a bit confused on what to do in the game. The instructions were clear, but once I was in the game I felt a little lost. Looks like a lot of hard work went into the project and it looks great.
Really great graphics, would have benefited from some minor balancing though. It is possible to just buy the first tower and continue to upgrade and spawn kill the enemies permanently.
Nice little game! It was really difficult, and i felt that i kinda fell too far behind really early, but it took a long time for me to actually lose. So a lot of time was spent feeling like i was just respawning and running back.
I like the art style most. Especially how clean it is designed with standing at the place which you want to build/upgrade and then instantly be able to do so. I wish i would have more time in between the waves especially since the level is quite big to navigate through. Watching the towers do their "work" is satisfying as always with this kind of game, although i have to admit i didn't play so long, as i kept dying quite fast and often. But then again, it's inevitable, isn't it? :)
I enjoy the concept and the graphics fit very well but there are a few balancing issues and bugs. I managed upgrade a arrow tower to 100 pretty quickly and could easily grind the enemies. On top of that I was able to cheese the AI by standing under them before they spawned preventing them from hitting me or moving forward.
I like how quick it is to buy/upgrade towers, and felt really powerful getting my towers up to level 20+ where they just shoot a steady stream of arrows. I eventually got the two towers closest to the spawn point upgraded to level 70+ and the enemies weren't making it off of the platform they spawned on. So maybe a little bit more scaling of challenge would be good, but this was fun and nicely polished! Great work!
Great atmosphere and fun game play. I like that when I die I'm able to continue playing but am penalized for being unable to help and it lets the monsters build up.
Minor annoyances - Hard to read the tower building text when you don't have the money for it - I wish I could hold down my attack button rather than spam it
Wins - Sound effects and tower effects - Level design. I like the obstacles which gives bonus to the aoe towers
Thanks for the feedback so far! We added portals so you can teleport between places more easily, will be updated in afew minutes :)
update is through :)
Although it wasn't my style of game, I still felt that there was a lot of effort put into the visuals, and audio.
Good work on the visuals and the audio! It's a cute game for sure. I'm honestly not really a fan of the difficulty scaling though, it seems that mistakes are punished quite heavily.
The game is fun to play and has big amount of content, but i think you need to work on balance. I like the visuals and sound.
Wow! The game brought me nostalgia, very coool! :)
Cool concept guys! I like that you get to be part of the action and kill enemies yourself. The portals are a good way of getting around quickly. The graphics and animations were cute, and I liked the sounds as well. I'd say things got a little too hard a little too fast, and it was hard to get close enough to turrets to upgrade them which made me fall further behind. I wish the gates were fixable (if they are I must have missed it, I leveled them up a bit but the door didn't come back), I like that you can upgrade several levels at a time, though. The different towers were also nice. Cool game, and good job!
Fun game, could maybe use some balancing. I ended up only using the last part of the level and could never really get back to the other parts to reinforce. But great work! :)
pretty neat tower defence, wast quite clear how i leveld up. blue gem towers are OP AF xD! good job
I played this in a little smaller browser and found that i could not read some of the text when upgrading the gates / towers etc. However i really enjoyed the game loop and i thought the graphics were brilliant.
Very addictive game! Compliment to you, what you created in these few days. I enjoyed playing very much and it's a good take on the given topic. Great job!
Woah, that was a lot. I felt the scaling with relation to the player was a little wonky. I was level 90 and still dying instantly. I got to wave 37 though! Overall really cool.
i loved this game the best of the game jam gg
Very fun, thank you.
Genuinely fun! I clicked on the game because I'm drawn to good art, but this was a great all around package. My only complaint is that the jump felt a little like I was hitting my head on an invisible ceiling. But overall great entry and great job!
This is really impressive for a weekend game. I wish there was a bit more prep time before waves, at least in the earlier waves, since it's chaotic right out of the gate. The graphics and overall atmosphere are really nice. I was able to hold out on the final gate for a while but eventually the enemies got too strong to do anything about.
This game would be really fun with a second player.
I get it's not done, none of us really finish these jams fully polished. Sometimes I even question when it's overly polished like how did you do that in 72 hours??? Anyways, you've got a lot of cool ideas in here and I can see it's got a ton of potential. Your art is great and you've got some cool ideas to enhance the gameplay beyond a simple game. Keep up the good work and good luck with your project!
@cover-club-media I wrote it in the description. most of the graphics were rendered in blender. i can create a new structure like a building or scaffolding in minutes with this method. we only had a workflow for the artwork ready as well as a boilerplate unity project :)
@sansman01 That is really cool. I like the game a lot.
This reminds me of Dungeon Defenders 1 a bit in a good way. I definitely fall back pretty quickly then kinda push forward. My first run I didn't realize I could upgrade myself, and did very well just running and back filling towers.
Weirdly I don't have any serious critique here. Anything I could say would just be about expanding it out and adding more options and content (and performance). Its a really neat package you should be proud of.
It's a great idea and work, I found it very fun and complete the game. Great job! Congratulations! xD
The game is a little quick in the beginning but once I got my bearings it went quite well and I at least lasted for a while. :D It would be nice for the HP for the furthest out gates to always be visible somewhere on the HUD since I accidentaly lost due to not noticing some enemies getting past my character :D
