This is a cute little dungeon crawler, nice job! I did run into an issue where the enemy would be occluded behind the wall and bump into me :'(
I think having a directional attack would do a lot of good, otherwise the game seems to be more about obstacle-dodging than fighting. You may also want to consider uploading a .zip instead of a .7z if you want more people to play it!

The game concept and art is pretty good ( especially with the block in the levels ), also the fact that the game is infinite and has a save system is also pretty great, but the problem is probably that you did not had enough time : the controls are a bit bugged out, multiplying your speed if you go in two direction at the same time, and i also find them too slow ( but this is personnal ). Something else with the game is that the coins does not have a use ( or at least i didn't find one ) which makes their presence really strange, and this can confuse the player. Also, i said earlier that the fact that the game was infinite was a good point, but the level is always exactly the same, and so it can feel a bit repetitive. Maybe you should have done a limited number of levels but handcrafted and unique. Overall, the game has potential, the art style can certainly be used in really cool ways, but it does not use the good ideas you had well enough, especially with the levels : for example procedurally generating levels could have solved this issue, or just handcrafting them.
@joselor You're right, I did run out of time to finish certain features like more levels and a use for the coins (although I did plan out a whole shop system on paper!) The level generation is done based on a hand crafted bitmap image, so adding more levels would be very easy, I just had to submit it as it was when the end came! Thanks for your awesome feedback :)
@loginaut I did struggle to figure out a way to have the camera top-down without the wall hiding part of the level, and without resorting to a shader to cut away a portion of the wall.
The attack direction is actually all around the player in a circle, but the graphics make it look like it's just upwards. Didn't have time to make multiple attack animations unfortunately!
Plenty of polish left to do, but thanks so much for your feedback!
what i enjoy most about this is how well the gritty color palette & crayon graphics work together especially with the postal/silent hill drone. the green jello is a fearsome enemy
Simple but straightforward dungeon crawler, I wish it had different layouts for the levels, but I did enjoyed anyway. Good job.

nice, simple maze game. congrats on the release! would be cool to see some twist in the design
For a game that was made in 7 hours, I think you did a good job! I was a little jarred about how when you stop moving you default to facing forward, which includes attacking enemies, so it was a little confusing at first. I also noticed some little nuances with the entrances (I tried to enter the cave from behind and it still worked along with the stairs).
The cave itself has a cool look ,it reminds me of Paper Mario in how the characters are all 2D, but the environments are more or less 3D. I think with a bit of polish, it can be really solid, but again, kudos on the attempt!

I really liked the tile pattern on the floor, and the sound effect for picking up coins. I think my favorite part was entering a new floor when you kind of sink into the stairs, it was a fun effect. Only trouble I had was it was hard to move when you were up against a wall. Nice job!!

Interesting game. I liked the concept and art style but the i was not keen on the audio in the background. I liked that the game levels seemed infinite but there is an argument for procedural generation for the levels as the same level becomes a bit stale after you have done it a few times (i did however get to level 22 before turing it off :P)

I like animation on Tittle with the birds songs. Interesting graphics and animations and artistic direction . Is that dungeon's sound the sound of your cat ? You had some good ideas for sounds, more sounds will be appreciated. The labyrinth (maze) is always the same (SPOILER ALERT exit always on u. l..t c.rn.r). Interesting prototype well done

I liked the art style, the flat art on a 3d world was a cool look. The dungeon sound felt too repetitive but the rest of the sound design was well done.
Nice game! I like the maze concept
I would recommend the following: 1. Lerp, or smoothdamp between your current position and your new position, for smoother movement. 2. Keep the direction of the animation, if I move down, it automatically looked up. 3. At least 3 types of enemies to give it some variety, they can be part of a specific biome.
Good luck!

Nice game. I love the design of the enemies. I played through the game without realising you can attack. I stopped when the levels started looping. Also an enemy would spawn on top of me when starting a level causing unavoidable damage. Some use for the coins would have been good. I stopped collecting them after a while. The wall collision was a bit rough. Getting stuck on flat walls was frustrating.
I liked this one, is simple but fun, the thing I loved the most was the art xD i just loved it, great work
What I really liked were the graphics that give the game a unique touch from the start. What I really disliked was the background noise which quite annoyed me after a while. I think you could improve the game by giving the money a purpose, and also you can increase the level of difficulty.
