Testers' wanted! by tinykidtoo 2022-10-04T04:00:26Z
Oh wow I've always wanted to be the next sliced bread.
Haha loved the game, the whole beginning section was really well done, especially with the sequence where the machine breaks down.
Good job!

Good job!
That was tons of fun haha
I have cats and that was super stressful when I couldnt get to them all haha
Wow I loved how much polish everything felt like it had. With a lot of the games this year that are "minigame" games, they tend to have an unbalanced amount of polish, but this one felt super well balanced and well down. Congrats on the excellent game! I fully expect this one to be up there near the top in the ratings this year
Wow, the graphics and audio were incredibly well done, im impressed with how many assets you created in such a short time. Good job!
"Its probably nothing" - famous last words.
Loved the game, and the visuals of seeing space fly around in the window was great!
Love the music as always
Game was super chill, I loved the music and the gameplay loop. I think it could feel better to drag and drop the cards directly on where they would go, but overall good job
Ahhh I died at turn 30, but fun experience all around! I feel like it could go a little faster, but otherwise it was a lovely game
Lmao incredible, truly doing the lords work
Ooo I loved the aesthetic. The art fit the tone of the plot super well.
Game was pretty fun, though some quality of life things could help it flow a little better, like being able to click on the people as well as their portrait to command them.
Overall great job!
Nice graphics!
@kr4ft3r Thanks for giving it a shot! The lever pulling can definitely be finicky, that's something we plan on addressing if we continue with this game after the jam. I will say that there's a way to avoid having to return to the lever which makes it much less frustrating, as a hint all I'll say is to take a closer look at the lever on the wall, there's something you can do with it other than just pull it
@tyrannas Haha I love the term "knowledgevania". I'm glad that you liked it as another Outer Wilds fan. The three of us are huge fans of that game so it was a large motivator to try to make a game with knowledge being the only important state. I definitely appreciate their knowledge collection system way more after having to try to implement my own
Definitely agree on the notebook making things a bit too obvious at points, we just had some early playtests with people that got stuck for a long time so we opted to make things too easy rather than too hard. Generally we learned that balancing a puzzle is difficult since everyone struggles with different things. Marking the notebook as hints is a good idea though, perhaps we could've implemented a hint system where it keeps track of clues but with optional hints attached to them. Thanks for the feedback!
I love the slipping on the banana anim, nice job!
Wow, we actually had thought of this concept when thinking about how to make a puzzle game with the theme, and we didn't think it was possible, and I'm happy to be proven wrong by such a strong entry. Great job!
Haha this game really tested my memory, and I loved the wobble effect from the jumping
Nice game! I like the concept of shooting hurting you
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiird
Loved the game! The visuals and sound design were great and the new usage of the mechanic on the last level got me really excited, I'd love to see more
Only small notes are that walking felt a bit too slow, and I would've liked that the restart button worked quicker, but overall great job!
Haha thats a lot of fun, simple concept and great execution!
Cant play this one unfortunately, looks like the download link isnt working.
But that title screen looks amazing lmao
Wow this games great! I love playing asteroids, so gravity with an unstable engine is a fun twist on it. I wouldve liked the to have the minimap in an easier to see spot, but thats a small nit, still very much enjoyed the game
Game was a ton of fun! Real hard, but the cute slime cat and the music made up for the frustration haha
I would've preferred to have the timer to reset every ten seconds. Otherwise, nice game!
Wow this game looks great! Amazing job with the visuals
Lmao this was great, thanks for another fun experience
Great game! Loved the art and the harvesting was hilarious
Fun game! This game made me frustrated in a good way, where I spent the first half playing on a trackpad, but then got up to get a mouse after failing the last level a million times haha. Love the take on the theme and the sound design, good job :)
Nice game! I liked the gamefeel behind killing the bugs, the sound effects and particle effects gave weight to attacking which felt satisfying. Good job!
@paulsams your issue with the bullet spread is definitely valid, that mechanic went through a few iterations but we were never too happy with it. It was intended to balance out the positive of increased damage, but without too many upgrades to bring it back to a normal level, it just ended up being frustrating most of the time.
Balancing for so many different upgrades was hard, especially as our scope got a bit out of hand and could only have a serious balancing session on the last night of jam. Overall though, we decided to balance on the easier side as we'd rather people finish the game and think it too easy than quit out of frustration.
That all said, thanks for your feedback! We learned a lot from how this game turned out and hopefully we'll be able to strike a better balance next time 🙂
Art and sound were stellar! In terms of gameplay, it was fun but not knowing the state of the latern without having to walk all the way over was a bit frustrating. I know there was a sound indication, but with all the other sound effects, it was easy to miss. Overall though, great entry!
Great game! I love the movement, good job :)
I love the idea! One of the most unique games I've played during the jam so far :)
Great job! I loved the puzzles in your game. I wish the arrows hitbox was a little bigger, or had some sort of visual feedback when they were selected, a couple times when I was frantically moving my snails, it took a couple clicks. Otherwise though, great game, congrats!
oo I loved the aesthetics of this game, very relaxing and some good puzzles too. My only nit would be that there seemed to be a cooldown on when you can move, so if you move too quickly, some inputs are ignored. Thats a small issue though, and easily worked around.
Great job :)
good puzzles!
What a fantastic game, I made it to sanctuary  . To echo what some folks have said, the movement felt a bit too slow for me, and was at times tedious, especially when I wasnt sure what station I had left to go to, so I would just go to a random one, check on my passengers, then go back. I wonder if you even need the conductor, maybe just being able to pan the camera to see your passengers could work as well? That being said, thats a minor issue, the game felt relaxing and it was very enjoyable to drive around in the little world you made. Great job
lmao that was great, I cant stop playing
Love me some space papers please  . I was getting overwhelmed at first, but I got really into the swing of things and was honestly left wanting more packages after it all. My only real gripe is that typing in numbers for the interplanetary visa was a bit annoying, since most of the game is mouse driven. It could be nice to have some way so that it could be played completely via a mouse, could make for a good touch screen game as well.
Overall though, great job!
Fair enough! I think maybe being able to click the id and drag it onto the visa could have worked, or some minimal on screen keyboard, but no worries, I just turned on num lock and used my keypad :)
I love pico-8, great job
Wow this game was incredible! I love music games and this one fits into the category of games that make you feel like you're in a music video, the gameplay was simple but complimentary to the song, and the song itself was hilarious, great take on the theme, and congrats on the great game, I'd love to see more from y'all
Loved the game! The art was really cute, and overall this game felt very polished. Great job!
Love the game! I made 74 bucks, one nice thing you could add is some sort of visual indicator for the timer on how long itll take the food to be ready, but that's a small nit, loved the game otherwise
I'm simply stunned, speechless, great job lmao
@peachy did the graphics! Its her first time doing a game jam too
Wow I love this concept, you should definitely consider expanding on this because I think you have something unique and fun here. The art and music fit really well and everything had a good amount of polish. I did feel like the game could have been a bit faster, and I would have liked more control over where to throw the baby, but those are minor nits, I still thoroughly enjoyed delivering the baby to its father. Great job, I hope to see more from y'all
fuck they got a tank XD
Took me a bit but once I figured out the controls, it was real fun to play! I think a good amount of the confusion comes from the fact that the sprites dont update until you fully turn, but you really need to keep track of where you are currently facing to not crash. Great game though, just needs a bit of polish for it to really shine
lmao that was incredible, really well polished, short and sweet. My only real gripe is that there isnt more of it, good job :)
Great job! I particularly liked how well the bird sprite fit the actions it was doing and how you were moving. Really well polished game :)
I love the aesthetic and vibe to this game, great job all around :)
wow great game, tons of fun and really well made! I do wish that I could revise my cart design instead of having to recreate it each time. Good job!
Oh wow this one was a lot of fun! I didn't realize even the ground was destructible until I fought a bug to the death on a tile next to me and then suddenly I was falling through the void. Managed to make it to the last enemy on round 10 using a grenade launcher and a basic gun as my loadout, it was a fun realization that it was easier to break the tiles below the big guys instead of fighting them directly, but the map was so hard to navigate by the last wave that I fell through on my way to the last enemy. It died shortly after I did, so I'm counting it. Good job!
Oh this one was a lot of fun! This is definitely the fun kind of frustrating. Great job!
I love squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeScreenshot 2024-10-23 214728.png
The art and music work really well in this one. I feel like giving the character a bit more speed would balance things out a bit, but in general a great entry! Great job on the compo
Ooo this kind of game is addicting, it was a lot of fun, and I appreciate all the polish you've put in like the Help screen. Great job!
I love love this one, great job! Honestly I wish this one was longer, such a great idea for a game
Loved the vibes here! Had a great time flying around and the music fit surprisingly well! Only thing I'd say is that it seemed a bit too easy to get one-shot by a jet randomly flying past and being forced to start over, it might be better to lose all money but keep upgrades? Not sure, but regardless, had a blast playing it, great entry!
Great game! Love how polished this is, with animations between levels, objectives in each level, and a interesting premise. I always check out what you've done each jam @fupi and im never disappointed haha
Really cool entry! I always love when games do things outside the game itself and leave things on your desktop haha, good job!
Lots of fun! It's such a simple idea but done so well, great job!
I loved the art style in this one, and the UI all had a good amount of polish, great job!
SO satisfying, great job! Screenshot 2025-10-07 185022.png
Great idea here! I love the concept of different beams, I got up to 3 beams and waves became a bit of a light show, which fit with the music real well. I definitely feel like this idea is worth iterating on, Id love to see more interactions between the beams. That all said, theres definitely a learning curve on this one, could use some more tutorial-esque dialogue to lead the player to what they need to do, and maybe a slower pace so that the player doesnt get overwhelmed with the extra beams, but those are nits really. Overall, great entry, good job!
Incredible mood in this one. You did what so many people fail to do and thats make the moment to moment pleasant. I barely understood what I was doing, but it was just so peaceful and pleasant to keep moving around. The pulse's were really well done. Great job!
Love the art in this one!
I like the graphics and story in this one, I would've liked something longer, but I know the pain of doing a 3D game in a weekend so I'm sure you had more planned you had to scrap haha. Great job regardless!
lmao I love the way the people fly up, feels satisfying to catch them just as your beam runs out. Great job!
