Hi there! I tried clicking the link, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.
Apologies, I forgot to set it public!
@orangeoceans The link is working for me now! This is a great game, and I'm very surprised you were able to make something so complete in just three days!
Super cool idea! I like the visual choices made, and the music's good too!
Pretty interesting concept with the mirrors, I even got a bit hooked. I think it's worth developing further. I also liked the soundtrack (saying this as a guitarist who writes music for my own band :)
Great idea here! I love the concept of different beams, I got up to 3 beams and waves became a bit of a light show, which fit with the music real well. I definitely feel like this idea is worth iterating on, Id love to see more interactions between the beams. That all said, theres definitely a learning curve on this one, could use some more tutorial-esque dialogue to lead the player to what they need to do, and maybe a slower pace so that the player doesnt get overwhelmed with the extra beams, but those are nits really. Overall, great entry, good job!
I have a soft spot for tower defenses. This was a fun one to play. I like how adding new beams makes you have to re-think how your mirrors are laid out to maximize coverage for them all.
this is a great concept, i love the twist to the classic tower defense, gets you really thinking!
Interesting idea. Took me some time to get comfortable but I really enjoyed playing.
The reflection mechanic is awesome! Had a lot of fun with this one, I want some more difficulty :P
Loved the mirror concept — really fun to play! The music was great too. Solid entry!
Such a cool concept! I loved setting up the laser super carefully initially, and also realizing that I could use different lasers at different times, like some lasers that covered the start of the path then switch over to other lasers as enemies got further down the path. I also experimented with pulsing lasers, like the poison and ice very quickly just to get the status effect then go back to damaging. Overall I had just a great time! I do wish the controls were a bit smoother, the the laser maybe could have 16 or 32 fixed positions instead of smoothly rotating, and i'd like to rotate the laser in place not use a slider (basically I want a gizmo like in 3d software lol). Really really cool, I hope you keep exploring this idea further!
Pretty innovative concept for a solid tower defense game. If you do develop further, would love a larger rotation scroll so I can fine tune the towers easier.
Good tower defense and mirror puzzle concept! It’d be great to have more visual and audio feedback to show how the beam affects the enemies.
Thanks for the comments! Enemy HP scales exponentially whereas tower damage very much does not, so I'm curious which wave you all were able to make it to.
The mirror defense was really fun. I managed to get to wave 21. It took me a bit to be able to figure out the rotation since I thought initially it was a key bind, but once I got that figured out I set up a nice defense.
This is such a deep game! Introducing more light sources & modifiers makes it super interesting to try to switch up the setup. I liked that mirrors were not permanent and could get moved around. The downside was that I could keep fiddling in between each wave. Good job!
it a bit unfair sometimes when wave one is deadliest, but i really like the game idea and the game design! good job! :)
Interesting idea! Not sure if it was just me but i found it a little difficult to rotate the towers using the slider
A rather unusual tower defense combined with a puzzle. It was interesting to place mirrors to burn the snails as efficiently as possible. Good game!
Interesting tower defense game. I definitely struggled a bit with controls but I love the idea of the mirrors reflecting a laser
Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)
