Love the atmosphere of this one a lot, rlly impressive! Good job :D

wouter52 2025-10-07 18:05

The vibe is there! It's a relaxing game and I like that after some intense ones :) Did not find an end though, is there one? Or is it just exploring and listening?

Incredible mood in this one. You did what so many people fail to do and thats make the moment to moment pleasant. I barely understood what I was doing, but it was just so peaceful and pleasant to keep moving around. The pulse's were really well done. Great job!

Interesting game! I love the calm vibe and your isometric art style. Looking forward to more content being added!

Awesome vibe !!

Wonderful job distilling down and abstracting the feeling of exploring the unknown. Loved how the music built up as you discovered new notes. I also really appreciate that you added mobile controls, huge props!

I think my only feedback would be to have the movement glide along the walls, I tend to get caught against the friction of a wall and then have to lift and tap again. Overall well done, especially for a second game jam!

anthony-katona 2025-10-08 23:34

no idea what I was doing, but boy were the vibes there. I second the comment about the wall-slides, I probably would've been happy to just roam around a void exploring for another 10 minutes if it felt a little more frictionless. And maybe the note in main beat was juuuuuuust a smidge loud/harsh

Thank you all so much for the amazing feedback! This Jam was my first time working with audio from scratch, and I'm so excited that my goal of a peaceful atmosphere came through.

@wouter52 : This version of the game doesn't have an ending, so it's just exploring and listening--for now! I've learned a lot from this jam and my last one, though, and I'm thinking of transforming this submission into an actual game (as daunting as that feels...).

@rosypenguin @anthony-katona : Thank you for the feedback on the wall sliding--that wasn't a mechanic that occurred to me at all. I just published an update that adds sliding to the version of the game hosted on my own website (https://www.caer.cc/app/ld58/).

Thank you all agin for the amazing feedback.

Interesting concept. It would be cool to see progression between locations. And the transitions are very sharp, I think darkening the screen would help with that.

What I understand clearly about this game is that I don't need to understand it. It just flows and it's fun. Ambience, atmosphere, visuals - all great! Relly, it's an interesting and the most unusual by far! Great angle at the theme, thank you!

Prototype is cool, creates relaxing vibes.

Really and unique entry! Quite abstract, in a good way. I love what you did with the rippling tiles as you collect new parts of the music track, it was quite hypnotizing. I'm not entirely sure if I collected all parts of the music though. At first I thought I was being sent back to the beginning of the level but I noticed that the map changed, so my only suggestion is some sort of visual cue to let players know they haven't failed (can you even fail?).

Also, not sure if there was a definitive end or not but I think I only got either 4 or 5 parts of the track. Were there more?

Really cool game

vpro 2025-10-10 16:21

Really cool audio design. The levels could try to introduce new mechanics here and there in order to feel more samey, but I link the minimalist aesthetic and the mood the music conveys

zenorke 2025-10-11 19:15

Soooo satisfying! Love all the sound coming together

silas-reinagel 2025-10-12 01:59

Wow! You made your own engine! Very impressive.

I liked a lot here! The soundscape you made really came together. I love the way the sound layer incrementally come in to build to a majestic whole.

pschichtel 2025-10-12 02:02

Really nice game! It's rare to get nice audio experiences.

iminsoftware 2025-10-12 17:41

Nice game! Only wish you had more time to add more levels and sounds to build upon what you have! Reminds me a bit of outer wilds with building up the soundtrack and the atmosphere. Also nice work on building this on macroquad!

emmatw 2025-10-12 17:51

I loved the minimalistic graphics, it really felt like exploring a soundscape. The audio was super nice as well, relaxing and really beautiful. Well done!

It feels like waves were not an original idea but rather were added after feedback to make green zones search easier. Thing is they fit very well and I liked relaxing sounds and visuals

antarktis 2025-10-14 17:58

the atmosphere is soooooooo coooooollll
