The Collector by Split82 2025-10-08T16:54:11Z

Super polished and addictive game! At first I was a bit annoyed that the shop only opened after dying, I was hoping you could buy an upgrade whenever, but after playing longer it didn't feel like a problem anymore, plus it was sometimes strategic to die on purpose when you had enough orbs. I thought I would play just 2 mins but ended up finishing it, and I still wanted more (wanted to see the gameplay with all upgrades). That's the mark of a great game, congrats!

M.A.T.O. by kuggenhoffen 2025-10-09T09:39:09Z

Really cool and addictive entry, a mix of Dome Keeper and vampire surivor! I like the mining SFX, it's very satisfactory to push digging through the dirt. I don't know if I would have opted for regenerating the level every time, cause as a player I wish I could back to where I left orbs I couldn't take. Also, maybe a potential addition could be some scarce health pickup (in the ground), or bats randomly dropping some loot (orbs or health). Just some small ideas, but the game already stands on its own!

The Return of Tom Lander by rubentipparach 2025-10-08T13:54:58Z

This is a tough game but once you get a grasp of the controls it's very rewarding. It reminds me of the first 3D games from the Amiga 500 era, I really like the aesthetics. Impressive you manage to build that in just 3 days, congrats!

Outward by chuckeles 2025-10-09T21:15:04Z

Really cool game concept, it's almost an idle game, but not enough to keep you invested and prioritizing your next tasks. You already went quite far for the duration allowed, it'd be great to see it expanded, maybe to use the resource collected to have more upgrades/choices. The art really fits the mood of the game, but a special mention for the audio design: the SFX and audio mood really nail the cosy vibe

ScrapheapSprint by sketchycode 2025-10-07T20:30:34Z

I press the keys displayed on the modules but nothing happens, is it normal? It seems like a good idea of a game, a computer version of Galaxy Trucker (maybe that was your inspiration)

Carrot Collector by F1Krazy 2025-10-14T16:11:06Z

Nice litte puzzle game, I really like the minimalist pixel art aesthetics (maybe the music could be a bit more cosy, but it's hard to do with chiptune I suppose). The progression on the mechanics feels smooth, there are even some "filler" level just for fun, it gives the game a nice pace and had me wanting to go on after each puzzle (which sometimes feels like a chore in other brain teasing games). Great work for just 48h!

Gimme Drive by caeonosphere 2025-10-07T13:54:02Z

Cool little puzzle, I really like the gamefeel of the track building, it feels snappy and super responsive. Did you make the car engine sound with your mouth by any chance?? Great!

Key Master by ancooper 2025-10-07T21:29:11Z

Nice little puzzle game, requiring both memory and planning. At first I was like "Why can I not jump?" but after a few cards you get why. Kudos for the neat pixel art as well!

Super Sucker by leorean 2025-10-08T07:21:37Z

Impressive entry! I went for the cut pixel art and overall great aesthetics, but I stayed for the level design and the clever puzzle design (cool Sokobanesque feeling) . Music can get a bit repetitive over time but that's just a minor caveat, that's clearly one of the best entries I rated so far

Weight of GOLD by Maxwell3000 2025-10-07T21:07:39Z

That's a nice twist not to have to collect everything in order to be able to complete a level. I like how the player must break out of the conditioning to pick up everything. There's some nice strategy and risk/reward pondering to complete certain levels. The momentum mechanic with the slope was a bit hard to catch though, but all in all it's a cool game

Quit Stalin by Eugenik 2025-10-09T20:49:32Z

That's a unique entry to say the least! Well done on the modeling and ambiance, it has its own vibe. For some reason I get a Disco Elysium feeling with the writing, political/psychological/philosophical conversations that stay with you and are thought provoking. Definitely a game I wont forget!

Coin Games by Jim jagers 2025-10-12T15:30:25Z

Man that escalated pretty quickly! I really like how things start really slow and quiet, making the player wonder what's the point, and then it ramps up to a tense experience (special mention for those smileys). It's basic in its execution but it's fun already, it's a solid basis if you want to expand on it, by adding more juice/feedback or new mechanics or level designs

Submerged by MorePixels 2025-10-08T14:05:12Z

Really cool little entry! The gameplay loop is addictive and makes you want to complete the game. I wish there were more upgrades or the earnings/costs should be rebalanced cause you don't need to collect half of the fishes in order to win the game. It could be a bit more challenging but it's still a strong entry

The Lair of K'olekto by feor 2025-10-09T10:01:20Z

There are some really cool design ideas behind this entry. It's all about pondering your options, making sacrifices. It's a bit rough around the edges (as someone else said, there are some freezes the first time you instantiate certain objects, look like particle systems, maybe some pooling system could help) and may need some QoL improvements (an active pause when looking into the lantern, maybe reverting to another power you own when depleting one), but I like that's it not just another mob-slashing game, you really put thoughts into the mechanics to make it something unique, congrats!

Mailbox Mania by Wuppos 2025-10-08T19:37:10Z

The gameplay is unforgiving but I like it! When you manage to hit that mail box in reverse, then 180 to rush in the next one, the feeling is amazing. I dont know if you know it but the steering seems to be dependent on the window size: playing it in the minimized version is almost impossible and could make people abandon fast. But when you turn it full screen, then it's easier to turn, plus you can appreciate the pixel art and the small details (like the tire marks)

Mailbox Mania by Wuppos 2025-10-08T20:23:02Z

@wuppos oh wait, I refreshed the page and the steering was OK even in small size. That's weird cause it was not like that the first time, maybe a bug with my setup cause I'm playing on another computer through Parsec. Maybe it messed up the inputs the first time, sorry for the scare!

Fallen Leaves by Sceef 2025-10-08T14:16:36Z

Cute little entry with a cosy mood and music. The main character has a strong Hilda vibe, I like it. The game could have you used a bit more progression or depth in its mechanics, but it's always tough in just 3 days

DEEP FROST by Kalbshack 2025-10-24T06:46:58Z

Hey! I'm really glad you commented on my game otherwise I wouldn't have played your entry and I find it just awesome. You nailed the art, the interface and the overall mood. Having built a digging mini game is a cool idea, it gives more rhythm to each run. I also liked how you didn't hold the player's hand to find the alien(?) pieces, I had to guess that it wasn't made of any of the 3 metals. I wish the runs weren't limited in number, or that maybe you could buy some more with your resources. I really enjoyed it overall, and I think it's a solid basis to keep on building upon, great work!

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-07T13:30:57Z

@caeonosphere Sorry for the issue, there was indeed a bug with a certain type of animal that was preventing it from being scanned... as for the south part, you may be missing to access it. I added screenshots on itch.io, maybe it can hint you. As for the flash light I wasnt able to repro the issue

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-07T13:31:44Z

@radjax Thanks a lot for your comment, if you digged the Qud vibes then my work is done here :D

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-07T13:32:27Z

@tompendergrass Thanks for your comment, I did spend quite some time on the audio, it helps forget the minimalist aesthetics indeed

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-08T19:22:45Z

@zexurge thanks for the comment and the recommendation! I didnt know they made a James Bond game for GB, I looked it up and it looks super original, I'll definitely try and play it on an emulator

@raysplaceinspace thanks for playing the game and for your kind comment

@ciphereo thanks, I found it easier to draw pixel art fast with a limited palette. I added the link to it on the itch page

@wuppos yrah, the meditation thing is definitely too cryptic. I wanted something hidden but not that hidden. I think nobody has found it yet, and it's the only way to access the south area. And saves only story the encyclopedia so that's not a bug sadly. Thanks for playing the game and your constructive comment!

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-09T09:27:31Z

@kuggenhoffen Thanks a lot for your kind comment! There are more powers to find, and they all can be discovered without guessing, there's indeed a mechanic to find and uncover each of them

@feor Oh man thanks a lot! Somebody else mentioned but I couldn't repro and thanks to your comment, I was able to track down the softlock issue and fix it. Just so you know, there are 4 powers in total, but you just need one of them (that you found) to finish the game, the other 3 are just for convenience. Thanks again for playing the game and for your comment!

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-09T11:52:27Z

@ira-baciu that's bad... Can you click on the menu and then try to press the arrow keys on your keyboard or Dpad on a controller? Same, try to press the Z key on your keyboard or A button on the controller. Can you hear the music play once you've clicked on the game window? The game is keyboard/controller only, so once you clicked on the game so that it's focused, the mouse is no longer needed.

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-10T16:22:49Z

@sirred there are 4 meditation circles but the 4th one is a bit hard to find, as it's not made of green grass... You didn't need to be in a certain spots to use the power, there just some tools that can help you (and one is mandatory to access the south zone)

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-10T16:24:08Z

@caer totally agree with you, it was not a good design choice to put the controls for the controller as it's not the primary input the players use, I guess 90% of them play on keyboard. Thanks for your comment!

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-15T12:55:06Z

@marks I totally agree with the poor choice on the UI control hints, and I could have made the scanning progress skippable. Thanks for your super positive feedback!

Aeternia by VPro 2025-10-20T20:38:04Z

@f1krazy Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked it. I agree with the balancing of money not being optimal, but once you get all 4 meditations, money shouldnt be a problem anymore :D

Oscar the Trash Panda by Radjax 2025-10-07T20:20:38Z

Hey! Nice little entry, I like the pixel art, especially the dogs. For some reason it reminds me of PaperBoy on Gameboy. Thanks for bringing back some fond memories!

Monsters in Jars by T4RAN 2025-10-11T21:54:54Z

Nice game! First of all, the art is amazing and you even managed to pull all those monsters' design in just 3 days? That's impressive. I won on my first play, so I don't know if I was lucky or if the game is a bit easy? When I reached battle 5 and 6, it's when I realized you can build combos that are really powerful: one of my creatures was dealing 8 damages and the last boss didnt' stand a chance, it felt pretty empowering. Few things that could be improve: revamped SFX and an engaging music could bring up the tension a bit more, I also mis-dropped my creature a few times (maybe cause I'm on a touchpad), and not being able to rearrange the creatures after you placed them felt a bit arbitrary (but maybe you tried it and there's some good design reason for it). Anyway, I had fun playing the game and really like the monsters design!

re:collect by Caer 2025-10-10T16:21:02Z

Really cool audio design. The levels could try to introduce new mechanics here and there in order to feel more samey, but I link the minimalist aesthetic and the mood the music conveys

Gibberwave by yiwai 2025-10-08T07:08:54Z

A bit hard for non native speaker to read that fast, but I like the original concept. In the end, I almost always chose the answer with the most text and it worked. The Proce time part was a bit more confusing cause I could not pick one good answer when all seem to fit.

Katamari Survivors by zexurge 2025-10-07T20:42:58Z

I like a game that states its inspirations and perfectly nails them! I had as much fun playing your game as playing Katamari Damacy back in the days. The audio design (music ans SFX) are really done and gives a nice zany atmosphere

Fire Fuel by marks 2025-10-11T22:05:35Z

Really good game, I dont get why you dont have more reviews (maybe you should rate more games), cause it's short but straight to the point and once you've got the mechanics figured out, that 3rd level is a real challenge. Kudos also on the aesthetics, I really like the retro/minimalist pixel art (as you may tell by my entry): it's straight to the point, perfectly readable and yet gives a unique look. Seriously, rate more games so you can have more eyes on your entry, it's one of the best games I've rated so far!

Goblin Lord's Dream by Ira Baciu 2025-10-09T20:27:29Z

I didn't fully understand how I got the achievement on the second mini game, and the 3rd one was really hard, but it's an original take on the theme, and for a first game it's very promising. Keep up the good work!

Beelines by raysplaceinspace 2025-10-08T06:55:38Z

That's a surprisingly great entry! At first I thought it was a well punt together meditative experience but then you start to want to optimize, change routes mid-plan, try not to make bees paths overlap... I ended up playing a lot more than I had anticipated. Really great job!

Orderly Chaos by roumo1025 2025-10-11T20:21:39Z

Really nice cosy game! The music, the visuals, the narrative setting at the beginning, it all contributes to give the game a unique and relaxing mood. The connection with the theme was not that obvious but following the theme is not mandatory so that's not a deal breaker. It was also a really nice addition to add some custom challenge on each level. Congrats!

SECRET MUSHROOM PASTA by guillaumepauli 2025-10-12T21:39:30Z

Super cool game, love the aesthetics and the unlock VFX. I found the wall jump a bit tricky to master on the keyboard, maybe it's easier with a controller? I did find 22 but that crown is really well hidden :D

Space Cleaner by Cahard 2025-10-08T14:34:09Z

Cool game, that's impressive for a first game, there's a lot of attention to details and gamefeel. The gameplay loop works pretty great and having to choose between refill and upgrades is a good idea. My only gripe would be with the controls, I dont find it necessary to have to click to steer the ship, locking the mouse cursor inside the window and just moving the mouse could be enough. It could be great to also have a full keyboard input scheme as well (steering with left/right arrows maybe).
