You could have tried to align the pieces your moving with the cursor, and prevent them from being masked by the box. The colour was very dull, as were the audio. Formatting the html page would have been nice as you didnt embed your game on here which would have done it for you. Its like a worse version of tetris.

Plays fine, nice responsive controls, gravity feel right. High rate of fire, a well put together game, some nice audio too.

A fun game but i dont think the kitchen needs to break so often, its 80% fixing the kitchen and 20% cooking... You could also get the icons for the timer to always be infront of the player, and perhaps allow the player to cook despite kitchen being broken.
A well made game, a good achievement for 48 hours.

Cool art, nice music. The collider on the player seemed to get a bit sticky, perhaps youve used a boxes where capsules would have allowed for sliding, also a few places where jumping wouldnt work. Otherwise the game runs well, sound cool and looks good, good work!

definately benefits from being dark, but there are ways to have a dark scene where you can still see where youre going. Cool idea, and well done for getting a game together and submitted into Ludum Dare this year!

Cool art and music, could do with some more work on the selection and some more UI action, but a cool style of game.
Cool game, I know space is dark but lightening up the scene or just adding a few lights on the space craft to make it stand out abit more would have been nice. It plays well and the spacecraft controller handles well too. Well done!

Its a shame you couldnt get the embedded game to work. I played it on itch, you could do with making the camera slower/less jerky and most of its positions arent any good. It should be obvious how to play the game, and instantly play well. You didnt give any indication as to how the game is played besides collect recipes. This style of game is often well suited to having a grid based snapping movement system.
Recipe games are fun they just need to be easy and obvious as the difficulty comes in when you have a very long list of tasks to complete. Or other mishaps occur.
Developing it even more could provide a very fun game. Well done for getting this in.

okay so at first i thought it said dogcrastination and thought it would be a nice game about getting distracted by dogs... dogcastration is uhm... well yeah its different. Probably not going to see anything like this again for a while, but well done for making a game! Very wierd!
Could have done with some examples on how to play as it was a little unclear. But the sounds, graphics and controls were all well made. Well Done!
Well done for entering into ludum dare. The game is interesting, I didnt like the UI so much as it felt like a video editor/ animator. Cool game though!
5*, as someone who generally hates most clicking games, this is somewhat of a masterpiece. Excellent graphics and audio that suit the style, theme is employed in a fun way. Gameplay feels smooth despite the staccato rhythm of the characters movements. Very well done an excellent game!

An interesting idea, rather annoying how you cant build in an area if youve accidentally added a single square in there already. This would be a cool game to play without the theme aswell!

A very playable game. Nice and simple and provides instant fun.
This brings back memories, the GBA was such a gamechanger with the built in backlight. Very cool idea, well made, fun to play and very humorous.
Quite difficult with the bumpy terrain, and interesting and somewhat disorientating with the cameras switching

A cool game. Fun to play, but would have lended itself well to a grid based game, as movements will put you in a position where you cant get to the object you need, as being punished because the controls are not precise enough on a keyboard. Analogue controllers may be better but even still a grid system would do wonders for this game.
A fun concept and requiring little instruction is what makes simple games good. Overall a good project and excellent submission to LD51!

@jaker - an excellent idea, @phillip-scott like jaker said, perhaps also by animating the pieces or having some minitures running around? Definately food for though. @astrydax Thanks! I have really put together a few years of slow learning, many things which used to take days I have memorised and can model and texture very quickly, it just took a few thousand hours(realtime) in blender. @jjbug Im glad you appreciated it! I recently did a deep dive into VFX/graphics lead by ILM/Starwars/GeorgeLucas and was surprised to see how much digital tech/graphics/vfx tricks exist because of star wars! It really changed how i look at 3d objects and helped me to improve on VFX. @theseusinabottle @vphyre Im glad you liked it.

When building a game in unity, after selecting Build, create a folder and select it as build destination. Then enter that folder and select all items, right click and 'send to compressed folder'. It would be good to try and get a working build out.
