Good job, it's actually really fun to play!

Good job, it's actually really fun to play!
Whoa, @zubspace, that's very impressive you made it to level 15, I don't I made it myself! Thanks for playing, I'm really glad you liked it! :)
Hey @nash, thanks for the in-depth review. I do intend to fix some of the design problems of the game and add music and sfx to it at some point, so your words are of extreme importance.
The missiles are totally random until level 6, after that they tend to fly towards the player, and every now and then there are missiles fire directly at you. But they're all random, so I assume you had a 'bad' seed and had only random missiles. All the balancing was rushed and I had to base most of it on the level and a big portion of randomness.
Thanks again for playing! =D
Fantastic, I love it! Really simple and fun. I like the movement of the cars, the level is really well-made, the graphics are great (I love purple hehe) and the audio is on point. I imagine this can be a really fun multiplayer game. Good job!
I really like the graphics and the music, very impressive. The gameplay is fun, but sometimes a bit clunky, I can't explain exactly why, maybe because the camera moving with the mouse makes it a bit unprecise. But overall I love it, great job!
Also, opening the source code just crashed my browser. haha
I like it! Simple and effective. Graphics are nice and it's quite fun. Good job!
Whoa, that's a really good surprise. I like how it gets more challenging every round. Simple mechanics and very effective. Graphics and music are pretty good too. Good job!
Wow, very fun! Polished simple games, that's how I like it! Great job!
Interesting game! I really like the concept. Good job!
Pretty interesting concept and I had good fun playing it. I just wish there was more feedback when boosting them out the earth, sometimes I don't know if I didn't click right or it's not doing anything. Also, I like that you implemented the theme, but I'd rather have that time to launch the next satellite change based on other stuff. All in all, it's a really good entry. Good job!
Whoa, praise for making a proper gameboy game! I really appreciate this!
Great game! I want more levels!
I like the quick retry, this is the kinda game you really need to try many times to master the right movements, and having it restart quickly is gold!
Very impressive entry. Classic fun, great graphics and music, and humorous. Great job!
I love this game! The story is heartwarming, the 1b graphics are simply amazing, the minigames are fun (except I think the letter one can get a bit too hard). Excellent job. My only "complaining" will go to the audio, as I think it's a bit annoying, maybe a less punchy beep with some pitch variations for every character's "voice" could do it. But overall, I'm really glad I found it. :)
I love the FPS mode! Graphics are really good too!
i think it's pretty fun and interesting. the design of the levels are in general pretty good, but still sometimes I think that waiting 10 seconds for me to walk a couple pixels can be a bit too much. but all in all I really like the game! good job :D
I love it! It's really polished and really fun! The feedback for every keystroke is so on point that it's very addictive. Not to mention the excellent graphics. Fantastic job!
I love the concept and the art style! The gamplay on the dinosaur one was a bit too clunky in my opinion, but overall it's a great entry! Good job!
I like the graphics and the camera!
This is really really cute and fun! I love the game! The art style is amazing, I just wish I could play longer. I hope you can make it longer with more variations, I'd totally play it!
Very creative idea! And the graphics are really good as well. :)
I like the game. Very simple mechanic and yet satisfying to play. The graphics and effects are impressively beautiful. Sound also feels really good. I just find a bit hard to see what the objects are, because I'm so focused on the keys to press. But overall a great job!
I like the nonsense idea with the teapot, but I also think the 10 seconds were a bit too long. In this case I think a more fast pace would benefit. Something like you choose when the teapot will move and you have a score of how many objects can you guess in 10 seconds? But all in all it was a good entry, great job! :D
Wow, that's a really good surprise. I had a lot of fun playing it, love it! The gameplay is polished, the variations are quite good, graphics are pretty cool, everything checks. Good job!
Good work! The movement is a bit clunky, i feel, but it's a really good job overall! Congrats!
Ah nice! Very similar to my own entry, but with actual puzzles that require some thinking! It's very polished and I think the graphics and sound work well together. Great job on the entry. :)
I think it's a solid entry, very aligned with Vampire Survivors and fits the theme perfectly. I appreciate the music and sound effects, and I can say I had fun playing it. However, I think it's a type of game that expects replayability and unlocking stuff in between runs is very important. Good job!
I mean, it's exceptionally polished and fun for a jam game. You do have many people in the team, and I just wonder how you all managed to do it altogether, big teams like that is hard to manage in mere 3 days. I love the game. Good job you all!
Very compliant with the theme. I think I could maybe respawn on the same level after dying and not be thrown back to level 1 again? In general a good entry. Good job! :)
Wow! Super interesting concept, very well implemented mechanics, feels like a really polished game. Good job on the entry!
Oh wow! So polished and smart game design. I ABSOLUTELY love the audio design in this game. The music and the voices are so amazing, it creates an excellent mood.
I think it's a solid entry, really simple and fun. However I miss a bit more love on the feel of the game, you know? Like making the movement more dynamic, the shooting more satisfying, having some variation on the enemies. I also felt like the summoned fiends are not very useful. But overall a good job! :)
I like the simple concept, even though the platforming is a little janky. Music and SFX are on point though. Overall a good entry, good job! :)
Oh wow, great job! Snake with a twist. I think the graphics and the sound overall is really amazing and the game ended up very polished. There was just one issue, I feel like the controls are not really responsive, I can't explain exactly why but sometimes I felt like it wasn't registering my actions. I got 89 maximum and it was really fun, congratulations on the entry! :)
Great theme, I get so anxious when I finish eating and the servers take too long to notice me!
I love the intro animation and the art overall. It's a nice entry for sure. Good job!
**POOR CAT!**
Pretty solid and polished entry. The graphics are pretty well done, the sounds too. I missed a bit of a music, though. Now for the gameplay, I think it's solid and I had fun, but I don't particularly like the coin mechanic to win the game. If I could buy improvements for my weapon with the coins and also buy better enemies with it, and completely remove the win condition, maybe make it an infinite game, that would be really nice. But overall a really good jog, congratulations! :)
Wow! I love this one, such a solid game for the jam. The feeling of driving that car is really good, reminds me of good old Rock'n'Roll Racing. The way obstacles work is one of the greatest things from this game, like, it's there to be in your way and be frustrating, but having it just slowing down your car is way less frustrating than actually hitting and stopping completely, especially for a fast-paced game like this one. If one thing I could wish for an improvement would be more impact when landing hit on the opponents, maybe some satisfying SFX, some screenshake or screen flash, I don't know, I feel like I needed more than the flashes on the cars.
Overall a fantastic game and I'm very happy I came across it. Good job you all! :)
Simple mechanics but a really nice experience nonetheless! I like the graphics and especially the music, very soothing. I feel like there's not a lot that needs to be made to have a really fun game. Good job!
Wow! This is a fantastic entry. I love how you mixed the mechanics together and introduced them one by one. It's a sweet mix of platformer, puzzle, action game, etc. Really well thought. The levels are absolutely incredible and the music and sound effects go so well together with the game.
It took me a while to figure out that the demon was following my mouse, even had to restart the game just in case it was a bug. Also I thought that Enter to close the checkpoint windows were a bit awkward because my hands were off that region of the keyboard all the time. Also some screenshots/gifs/video of the game and some devlog would be really appreciated.
Nonetheless, good job for the amazing game!
Nice solid entry. I like the inspiration from those fake game ads, turns out it's actually fun to play! I felt like the web version really did stutter a bit, though. But overall a good job. :)
Great idea, uses the current trend mechanics (which I love btw) and it's extremely well polished. Great job you all, I had a lot of fun playing it. One of the most solid entries I played here so far. :)
It's a nice idea, I just think it might a bit too much to memorize the patterns at the same time you want to draw them on the pentagram and look at the enemies. Or maybe I'm a bit too slow. But it's overall a really good entry. Good job!
I like the concept, really do, and to a certain extent I think you did a good job implementing it. I do think that a bit more love in the platforming feel would make it a lot better. That along with some music and SFX. But overall, good job! :)
I really appreciate the innovation in terms of gameplay, it was really interesting and fun! Good job!
That's really interesting mechanics and I think you did a great job implementing the feel of the game, it really does feel great to draw the lines and match them. Great job!
Excellent puzzle platformer game. Conceptually, it's similar to my own (clone as a main mechanic to solve the puzzles), but way more fun! Good job on this entry, one of the most solid and polished I've seen here. :)
I like it! I don't particularly like the combination mechanic to get new units, but it wasn't too bad either. The graphics are pretty cool and the gameplay felt pretty polished. But I really missed some music and sounds. Overall a really good job! :)
I absolutely love the music!
I love the art style, and the music is so good, too good to be that quiet! I agree it's missing some information, I got really confused at the beginning, I didn't know I should keep going on the direction of the tiles to destroy it, also the upgrades didn't make a lot of sense for me in the beginning. But overall it's a really solid entry! Good job. :)
Simple and fun. I do miss some of the feedbacks, like enemy life bar and some impact when I hit them, but it's overall a pretty good entry. Good job!
That's a really cute game. I caught myself doing nice paths around the map because it's cute seeing the bees flying it. Cool concept and the art style goes really well with it. Great job!
This is straight up 5/5! I absolutely love how polished this game is, you did a fantastic job! The art is so good, all the animations, visual effects, feedbacks, etc. The music and the sound effects are extremely well done. Your attention to details is visible and it pays! I'd love to read a postmortem on your game, what were your ideas, your workflow, what worked and what didn't and in the end how you achieved so much in so little time!
@j3m Is it broken even in the Itch.io page? I tested on two machines and it worked fine in both. Can you please confirm your Firefox version? Thanks! :)
@dhim thanks for the review! There's a performance problem in my game that makes it a bit sluggish on slower machines, so it may be that? Turns out drawing every little thing on every frame in the HTML Canvas is not a good idea, especially those semi-complex fish. :)
Hi @ellaris, thanks for the review! Well, the game _is pretty much_ an NPC escort quest. ;) I'd love to hear more about how exactly it felt weird. =D
Thanks for the feedback, @ellaris! I think I can see what you mean. Now that I didn't play the game for over a week, and I saw the video in different dimensions on my screen, I did feel it a bit weird on the borders haha
Oh that's such a good entry. The mechanics are really interesting and the levels very balanced in my opinion. There's an issue jumping, I think I can't do that while moving? Except for that, I think that's an extremely polished game with good fun value here. You did an amazing job. The art is so good and matches the gameplay perfectly!
Such a cool surprise! I love the way you named the critters. Your presentation in general is really good, having the tutorial text on the sides during the levels is a really nice touch, looks good and is effective.
I think the walking SFX a bit too harsh though, especially after finishing the puzzles and just rushing towards the level end.
Overall really solid entry! Good job. :)
I like how many systems and the amount of content put into it. Good job on that! However I feel like some more love into the game feel should have been prioritized. In my opinion, for a compo game, feel is usually more important than content, because it just grabs you and make you feel good to play. Overall it's a pretty solid entry and you did an amazing job!
First of all, really nice graphics and usage of the theme. The levels are really good too. One thing that annoyed me a bit was the controls. Not the turning mechanic, but I feel like it's turning too fast when I hold the LEFT/RIGHT, so I had to keep pressing them all the time, which lacks some precision. Playing this on a proper controller pad would be much better. Also I feel the collision box on the enemies were too small and it needs a bit more feedback when you actually hit the enemies.
But overall I really like it and I think it's a good foundation for a cool game right there! Good job! :)
I really like the style! Good job!
That's a fantastic entry! Graphics are gorgeous, the music, although maybe a bit too short, is quite good, the idea after the theme is really innovative, gameplay is mostly fun. Even though I feel most levels you just need to keep pressing right and jumping and you'll likely hit the dog, it's still interesting enough for me to keep playing. The mechanic of moving controlling all of them at once is really good. When there's too many fleas, the delay in the input feels too much, but overall it's really well executed! Great job!
Very cute, I like the mood. :)
Nice little game! I especially like the difficulty with the ball, controlling its curve is really satisfying. The sound effects pair really well with it, but I did miss some chill bubbly music. Good job!
That's a really cute entry!
Good to see a Tower Defense around, sometimes I feel like this genre is dying out. I liked the chill pace of the game, music nice nice and the art style really suits it. Clever short game. Good job!
Incredible entry! Extremely polished, something I really value. The art style is so beautiful and well executed. The gameplay is simple, but good and interesting. Makes up for some nice challenges. I did have a problem when one level was completely empty and I didn't know what to do, but decided to refresh the page and try again and it didn't happen again. Great job!
That's a really good entry, such a great 90's PC game feel. The graphics are 100% on point and the audio in general match so well with it. I did have some problems with the collision, it's really unpredictable, took me literally 5 minutes to hit the socks for the first time, even though it looked right all the times. Great job!
Great use of the theme to make a really cool little game with lots of potential here! I'm a fan!
Oh, first of all, I'm sorry for your loss! That said, the game is really fun! Love the 1bit graphics, it works really well. The mechanics are simple and really well made. Can't praise you enough for the level design, that's fantasticly well done. Good job!
I appreciate the simplicity. Really cute and polished, the movement of the creatures is really satisfying! Good job!
I love it! It's so much fun, simple and so efficient. The art style and the sound effects match so well together! Great job!!

Screenshot 2024-10-14 214613.png Oops
Nice solid entry, although a bit short. But I like that it's pretty polished. Good job!
I appreciate the humor! Gameplay-wise, I missed some feedbacks, but it's a really good entry in general! Good job! :)
Simple and quite fun. The animations are cool and the music is pretty nice. Good job!
That's a fantastic example of how to make a simple idea into a really nice and interesting jam entry. Game jams is not just about making new mechanics, it's about making a nice short experience, and you achieved it with great success. Good job on it! I absolutely love it!
Really innovative mechanic, I like it. I think, though, that it's a bit too hard to freeze them in movement, I missed it most of the time in the beginning. Great potential!
Beautiful 1bit graphics! I really liked the animations, especially. The difficulty ramps a bit too quick in my opinion, though I understand that it's because the game is quite short. It's really fun. Good job!
Great job! I like the graphics and the audio experience, but thought it was a bit too hard to control? At least I kept missing signals more often than not haha.
I somehow always crave short little experiences like this one. You did a great job! :)
Pretty solid entry! I feel like I took too long to understand that I had to connect the blocks to one another, but after that it was really nice. The execution was flawless. Also, thanks for stating the obvious (that I'm so ugly, duh). =D
Screenshot 2026-04-22 131639.png
Hi @rafa-fiedo, thanks for your feedback. There was a small bug that made that level be conditional on the timing, which was not intended at all! It's already fixed. =D
I played a few times and I also couldn't really understand, but I know there was something there. I think maybe a little bit more hints? Other than that, the execution is pretty good!
I also feel like I didn't get the mechanics for many many levels, but overall, one of the best-made games here! Excellent entry. Good job!
Blew my mind! Love the narrative and especially the voice-over. Impressive how much a VO can put you in the game! Excellent job!
Wow, nice! That's what I most enjoy finding on Ludum Dare, simple mechanics but really good experiences. I really like the presentation and the atmosphere. The graphics are really beautiful and you did a great work on the audio. The soundscape makes you feel almost like you're there. Fantastic attention to the details. The only point I'd like to bring is that I was expecting some sort of plot-twist on the story, or at least some more depth. But you did a great job!
I love that the gun sounds like I'm hitting the water with open palm! :D It's really good entry, everything is there, looks good, sound good, has solid gameplay mechanics, great atmosphere. I just think that the loop sometimes is too much, having to get the bullets, then open the inventory, then using it, then reloading the gun, it doesn't seem like it adds anything.
But in general it's really solid entry. Good job! :)
I really like the vibe and the idea, but it's lacking some care in usability. The chill vibe is really appreciated though. Good job! :)
So cozy and wholesome! And a great execution on the theme, great job :)
I really enjoy the idea of the puzzle and I think you did a really good job designing it. However, I feel like it's not scaling well with the mechanics. Like, when you get to level 8 it gets a bit hard to understand how to do it except for doing brute force, either by really just trying all the possibilities or doing it mentally, walking the squares. I feel like it needs a couple more mechanics to help it scale well. Maybe something that changes the color of the squares, I don't know. There's a lot of potential there, though. Hope you keep iterating on it! :)
For the execution, though, you did a really good job. It's polished and looks good. I did miss some ambient music though. :)
