Been there, done that. Really like the game !
I expected more games like this given the theme.
The fact that we can't press a button to place a robot (skip the iteration) makes the game kind of slow. Oh and the controls, it would have been more intuitive to make the controls move according to the grid instead of the camera.
Anyway I really like your entry, awesome job !
I really enjoyed your game, your take on the theme is quite unique. You managed to picture the daily routine quite well.
Game wise I have some feedbacks for you: For the train scene, the main element (the one that the user will look at the most) is located on the top right of the screen. I expect the action to be easily readable, putting in the center (somehow) would improve the comprehension. Otherwise I really like the way you implemented QTEs.
For the second scene (working), since you need the keyboard it would be nice to have the input to be automatically focused.
For the third scene (room), I am not quite sure what the purpose of this scene is. From what I understand you simple pass a message, that you are too tired from your routine to do anything. Yet I feel like having to do the dishes or clean your room / appartement would enhance your point / message.
Overall you could add feedbacks when the user does a QTE right/wrong or when the user enters the correct/incorrect word at work. Even if it is just a sound I am not always sure if I did the task right :)

You did a pretty good job for the audio, it suits the gameplay really well. Visually speaking it is stunning. And you created so many things in such short notice.
I don't think that it is a good idea to be able to dodge / escape fights. The best aspect of your game is the fighting, you should encourage the players to fight. If you think about your goal in the game then you don't really want to fight if you have a choice.
I would suggest to make the fight mandatory and change the type of the tile once you character leaves it.
I did not quite understood what the different stats meant for the characters: WISDOM and LUCK. It does not seem to have any impact.
There are some bugs here and there and you could add some visual / audio feedbacks (when you don't have any action point for instance), but hey ! It is an awesome entry !

Awesome ! Thanks for letting us choose how the camera behaves ! I love the fact that you can shoot in all sorts of directions. The sound design is incredibly good. I don't really understand why the audio shouts "too slow" when you jump into monsters, but anyway awesome game!
Very relaxing game, I don't know why, but I constantly get the feeling that I am cheating the game. I would love to see a visual feedback on the player when i can I jump again.
If you keep moving against the long block while spamming jump you the game becomes very easy :v:

It is a nice entry, I would say that I would have enjoyed the game a lot more if the collisions were tighter. I feel like you can get stuck without having your circle visually colliding with the environment. The music is pretty good ! You could add some audio effects for the ennemies and the projectiles, it would increase the mood in your game !

@darthdeus Yep we totally agree with your point. We want to try something a bit different for the employees, something like working for a long time would increase the salary of the employee and decrease its productivity. The goal would be to get rid of the "Working" / "Idling" states. I think that having to actually spend more time planning on which employee you will fire next would increase the fun overall.

I really love your entry, only thing I could suggest is to make you lose when you cause a crash. I feel like trying to stress out the player to make "correct" decisions would improved the overall game feel. But hey, as mentioned this is a really solid entry!
This game feels like playing QWOP, great job! One of my fav for sure.
I love the concept of the attack, drawing a triangle is very unique and it works really well with the design of the level. The weird little sounds that the enemy make are pretty fun. You made a really cool camera effect when sprinting.
This game has a very nice concept, the downsides I see are: The controls could be a bit more snappy Some people seems to spawn horizontally There are some z-fights between the triangle you draw and the floor

The first time I launched the game, I had to mute and then unmute the game to have audio. I don't know if this is consistent tho.
Great game! It is very fun to play and it is a unique idea. If think that a fullscreen button would be great. As the page background is the same as the game background it is kind of confusing why clicks don't do anything.
Other than that, nice entry! Good job.

It's a simple mechanic well executed. Love all the visual feedbacks and the persistance. It's pretty hard to keep track of your kill count, adding it to the death screen would be fantastic.

Hey there, I downloaded Quest and gave your game a go!
Marvelous text writing skills, your ability to describe environment is really good. I spotted some spelling mistakes, but nothing critical. I am not really used to read stories, but I really enjoyed the experience.
I killed myself once and successfully saved the president the next time :)
I would suggest to add instructions on how to get the game running in QUEST and what QUEST is, it took me 5 minutes to get it done without knowing anything about it. Maybe more people are willing to discover this software and your game, but somewhat scared of the unknown.
The concept is refreshing and the soundtrack is great. You should write down the controls on your page. The game begins kind of slow, something to fast forward the time would be a great addition. I don't think that I fully understood how messenger should be used.

I think that you could make the clock disappear after some time, it would add more variety to the game. As @kurakurture mentionned the hitboxes and platform deserve a bit more attention. Also I noticed that if you collide with a demon some of its momentum sticks to your player until you jump on a tree. More snappy controls would greatly benefit the game.

If you can make a webgl build and host it (itch.io for example) it would probably make more people try your game out.
Pros:
- The idea of having an illness impact the gameplay is very clever and nicely implemented.
- Your game fits the theme very well. Your game art is consistent.
- Nice french touch
Cons:
- Some colliders are missing on buildings (bottom left for example)
- It is really hard to remember addresses while having the pressure of the clock. Something like a map (even an image on your ludum page) showing roughly where the streets are would make your game more engaging I think.

Hey awesome take on the theme, it is refreshing.
I might just be bad, but I have trouble identifying what should go where. I mean for some parts it is easy, but for others I have the feeling that i tried left / right and both are incorrect.
The controls are difficult, a cause might be that it is pretty hard to have a feeling of speed and direction. Adding something that displays the current speed might help. Some kind of compass might also help.

Constructive feedback: This game would benefit from visual feedback on the cooldowns of your actions (I want to see when i can push and when I can dash) In the first level the audio does not really match the mood of the empty level :)

I agree with the fact that oranges add frustration. The mix between real time and turn base is very interesting.
The game in itself is pretty difficult given that the total amount of oranges you get is reduced every 10 seconds.

What you could do to make it easier for children (and since I have a short attention span) is for the first levels hide only some of the fruits. I feel like it will make it even faster to grasps what you have to do and add a nice progression feeling.
If I have the opportunity I will have my niece try it :)

Nice entry, even without much audio everything is coherent and clean. I was wondering if tighter/smaller levels could be beneficial, some levels felt large.
This could become a fun full scale game, congratulations.
The art and the animations are well done. The sound design is pretty good too.
The movements of the player are kind of slow and the fact that only 1 direction is registred makes it even slower. The beginning of the game is well explained, and the backstory is pretty cool. But the end lacks clarity. What happens with that monster ? Is there something to do once it is spawned ? Going outside makes the monster disappear.

By 1 direction I mean that you can't walk diagonally. The monster kept saying something about being the boss, but it only had this line.

I had some bugs in 2 games in a row, the timer at the bottom would stay empty and not fill up (google chrome).
Apart from the bugs the concept is insanely cool. It would have been reaaally cool to be able to select the option through keyboard shortcuts.

This game is really well done and fun!
When the screen gets filled with projectiles it gets pretty hard to see the reticle, my advice would be to show a cone representing the spread of the current gun. It would make the aime more readable.
I am not sure why I would change my gun after picking one up and was kinda sad that this would be in my shop as it felt useless.

It's a nice use of wheat. The climbing seemed less precise when the camera is looking straight up / straight down. Getting up is easier than getting down.

It took me waaaay to long to understand where "the table" mentioned in the description was x)
The key "1" at the table creates a bomb not bullets, but that may be a typo in your description (both itch and there).
I love the fact that I have to plan my expedition and spare my bullets. In addition to what is existing a less effective way to defend yourself that does not have ammunition would be cool or removing the movement slow when reloading.

This fake online mode is pretty fun.
It's really easy to tip over. Meaning you loose everything. Because you drive too fast.
It would be a good Idea to give free lvl 1 rocket just to defend yourself and just by upgrades with crops.
Other than that congrats, really cool game.
This is a really cool concept. As mentionned the game is pretty easy and becomes more of an idle game if you want to do the highest score.
I love the message the game sends: overfishing kills your fun as it destroys ecosystems. It reminds me of "Gibbon: Beyond the Trees" where when the forest is on fire you have less game giving a realistic feeling of what happens in nature.
