This is a nice start for an small RPG/collect, there is a way to look the encyclopedia and see what bugs have already find ? (i don't find it). There are different place to search and that's limited by the tools you can buy in the shop, that's classic but work fine.
Quite a good RPG game, if you want, you can hang out for half an hour
Hey @robowarrior1982 ! Yes, you can press T to open the encyclopedia. Doug should tell you that in your first interaction with him. I did forget to include that on this page though - sorry about that!

This is a fun concept and I like how you designed the core gameplay loop. I think it would benefit from some additional upgrades that you can purchase as I had far too much money left over at the end. Maybe add some upgrades that allow you to carry more bugs at a time, or one that highlights an area that will give you an increased chance of finding a bug you haven't caught yet? There's a solid little game in there somewhere and for a prototype made in a weekend it has a lot of potential. I hope you had a lot of fun making this.

Thanks for the feedback, @historymaker118 ! Yeah, I was planning on having a bunch more items in the shop but simply didn't have the time. I'm not happy with how I balanced the money, but I'm happy I got something submitted. Hope you had fun!
This is pretty much a race with RNG, but you made the experience interesting enough, which is a great job. Nice work!
Cute game, I liked the randomness, it adds to the thrill with the possibility of failure (maybe I am just saying it because I got lucky to catch the last rare bug on the last day)
Cozy little game with alot of athmosphere. I liked that the trader payed me so much, he must be really passionate about bugs :smile:
