Just played this to completion! A really fun concept (although I'm a huge fan of puzzle games and spent most of the time hoping for more door unlock minigames). Gameplay was original!
Some of the music went a bit strange at the end (I think the boss music was overlapping with the level music). Would love to see a more polished version made in more than 3 days <3
Interesting concept of controlling two characters at a time. Especially in the door minigames.
Thank you for the feedback Rodgems! Yeah, you are right at the end of the game the boss music overlapping with the level music. I detected this bug after I uploaded the game. I worked with construct engine and there is an exclusiv license during the game jam. The game jam is over, so I can't fix this now. But I plan to buy a license. If I'll have the license I'll fix that bug and maybe make a little remake the game (fix all the bugs, more enemies, longer story) to don't look like a "3 days rush".
Lololololololol i just wrote this so my friend could add me

Awesome music and atmosphere, just controls were hard sometimes, managed to still beat it, also puzzles were easy and i dont think game needed them
Thank you for the feedback Tipu!
A very interesting and unusual game. I especially liked the door opening mechanics. It feels like two parts of the brain are working at once :)) Unfortunately, I played without headphones, so I can't give an assessment of the soundtrack, sorry. In general, I liked everything, thanks for your game!

Dear Tipu! The puzzles were easy because it was just the beginning of those, and we hadn't got enough rooms (we don't want it to be a puzzle game) and time for all of them.
Good game. One thing. If I press back on the door I get teleported and I need to redo it. Also the minigame felt really buggy. Also pro tip. Change the version to HTML on ldjam.com, so that more people will play it as it's a browser game

Nice game, loved the door puzzles. Also, coincidently my game is a little bit similiar to yours with the same input and stuff, only thing is both player's go in opposite directions

Thanks for all feedbacks and ratings!
Hi pune007! I tried your game. It's a great "two player" concept too. Good work!
Man i liked how it splitted ) Nice idea
Cool mechanic. I think the level was balanced well so you could focus on just one side at times without dying. I think the door puzzles were my favorite part. Nice job!
Omg... I did not think it would atract this many people! Thanks for all your feedback, we will try tofix the bugs as soon as we get the licence for contstruct 3. If you would have any other complements, feel free to share it with us and I hope we will be able to fix all of them later.

It is a nice entry, I would say that I would have enjoyed the game a lot more if the collisions were tighter. I feel like you can get stuck without having your circle visually colliding with the environment. The music is pretty good ! You could add some audio effects for the ennemies and the projectiles, it would increase the mood in your game !
Other than that, good job !
@arscene we are thinking about buying the construct 3 licence to upgrade our game a bit. (the engine was free during the competition) we will definietly try to make some sound effects for our game to make its mood better. thanks for rating our game!
Nice game! A great concept. I think the hitboxes were a bit off though. Having two characters really messes with your brain, I like it.

Interesting mechanics to control 2 characters at once!
Interesting game, the controls were a bit wacky for aim and attack, the hacking part was well made! Good job on making the game! with a bit of polishing and HP indicator and maybe a crosshair and some more levels it'll be pretty neat game!
one epic music, and clever game design. enjoyed playing.

Intriguing mechanic! Would have loved to see more exploration of it :D Good job!
Fantastic! This is the power of Construct 3! Fighting game, puzzle game, both! As a long-time Construct 2/3 user, I'm happy to see something so good made with the world's best engine! (I seriously typed a whole ton of C3's advantages over other engines earlier. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/evo-loop-tion-ludum-dare-47/what-should-i-choose-unity-godot-corona-cocos it's somewhere in there. Just look for the biggest comment ever.)
Two things: It would be nice to have HP bars, and you should probably change the link to HTML5 and not Windows. I expected yet another itch.io download link but was instead surprised to see the same arcade where I uploaded my game.
Thank you for the feedback! I changed it to HTML 5.

Nice entry here! The music at the end play meanwhile the main theme is playing.. I think you can easily fix that! Anyway, I liked the mood! Good job!
realy liked it
Fun little game. I really liked the music, although as others have said the boss music was bugged. I think some sfx would have helped this a lot since there's a lot of action on the screen. I thought the puzzles were a nice touch. Overall, good job!
I had some struggle with the aiming at first, but once I got it, it started to get fun. Shooting through walls is great :) Then I got stuck with one of the characters getting through a door that opens with a pressure plate, while the other didn't and no way of reopening it so I had to restart from the beginning.
The game is fun, has unique esthetics and a very nice soundtrack. I only missed some sound effects and a healthbar.

Great little game you had here and the idea is not bad. I finished it even if sometimes the hitbox and enemies were really a pain ^^' But yeah it made me go to see whats happening down the way! well done! 2020-10-18 13_13_09-CONTRAST - Free Addicting Game.png

Interesting game!
At first I was kinda lost for a moment but I quickly got the hang of it. It felt super hard at the beginning but maybe I'm just bad... Anyways after figuring out what to do I had fun playing the game! The hitboxes and collisions were sometimes a bit weird but it wasn't a problem. Maybe a HP bar for our clrcle friends could be added. There were some puzzles as well, they were a nice touch. Had to actually think to complete the game.
But god damn the soundtrack was good. It got me fired up. Altough towards the end the music was overlapped with the boss music (and I guess the ending music?) The art... it is what it is, but it fit the overall style. The game also kinda had a story, that was cool! The ending gave me some chills, it was pretty epic. (+ the music, damn son)
Nice entry! Good job!
Thank you fingamer for the feedback! This audio bug will be fixed, but we can't do that at the moment, because we need a license for the engine.

Interesting concept and great addition of the minigames that added another level to the gameplay. The simplistic graphics and atmoshperic music combined with the background narrative made for a great mood. I think it could do with a little more polish with the actual game mechanics and hitboxes feeling a bit weird but solid effort for a jam! Well done!
The door game can be a game on its own! Nice game

Nice concept, I really liked the minigames, the controls were a bit messy in the main gameplay (sword mechanic). Overall a nice entry :)

Oh, this was really hard to control as someone who hardly can pay enough of attention to one character only :D Nice idea!

Nice and innovative concept. Cool that minigames are matching the general concept. It is hard sometimes to keep up with both sides. Maybe more feedback is needed for the sword action - it feels a little clunky. It might even be better to make the swing faster, but include a little latency between the two actions. So you would have swoosh-swoosh - first on the left and then on the right. It can provide better feel of control over your characters.

The theme is not "Yin and yang" or "Black and white". You are ahead for the Ludum Dare 52! ^^ Anyway. It's a rich game! There's so much ideas for a Jam!! I like the puzzles on the checkerboard. The gamplay with 2 characters to manage is interesting and well made. Some problems happen sometimes when there's too much distance between the characters they go out of the screen. Anyway. I began to feel some interesting situations, protect one guy in some close areas to fight with the other. There's potential. With some polish and ehancement (better art and feedbacks) and better collisions, it could be a cool game!
Loved how you managed to do lot of different gameplays in this game. The main "battle" gameplay is a little hard though, but it's forgiving enough that I managed to finish it. Can't find any link to the theme though, but that's fine

Just out of curiosity, how much time have you spent on doing the forum posts? Wouldn't it just have been less time consuming to play others games and get ratings in return at this point instead of only promoting your own?
Hello! I played and rated almost 20 games. What is your problem? Yes, I write every 1-2 days a blog post to promote my game. That's needed to people find the game, because there are 3206 games. We entered to this game jam to make a game and get feedbacks.
