Great little game.
If you plan to make the experience longer, I strongly suggest to stop time during dialogues.
Loved the art, the sound, the level design and the persistance in death ! Great job.

Very nice game. The graphics were simple but nice, audio was good too.
I think the part I like the most about this is that it feels very contained and finished. Of course it could use more to make it bigger or more polished or whatever, but it has a start, a through line and an ending. In a lot of ways it reminds me of some of the flash games I used to play on addicting games or newgrounds years ago when I was in middle/highschool. The music was good, the speed of your character running around felt good. I wish the timer didn't run out as I was talking to people, since it was hard for me to take in what was being said. Or maybe if the timer was slower in those moments. Very fun, and a very good LDJ creation
I. Loved. This. GAME! It was just so charming! I think the brevity of the experience just adds so much! Phenomenal all around. My only complaint is that at the very end of the game some text appears and that text only showed up for a few frames before vanishing for me. I played through the game twice and it happened both times. Regardless, this game is just too adorable, I'm surprised anyone was able to make an RPG, much less such a good RPG! Fantastic job :)
Nice - like the idea and the dead bodies - cleaver
cool concept
(Spoiler warning)
@glove thank you so much for the praise, I'm so glad you liked it. I think that is a rare bug on the browser build, one of my friends said they found the same thing. It just says "Thank you for playing" and has the number 1 793 457 366 which ticks down like the clock in game.
Good feel, nice art style.
The less you have to work with, the more you need to use what you have well. I think you did a great job with the visuals.
The puzzle aspect with the time loop is smart, and funny. All my dead characters lying around.
I thought the bodies left over were just a nice detail, but them being part of the puzzle-solving aspect made it even cooler. I like the minit-style gameplay and art, I actually was originally going to do something with a time loop myself. Also, nice to see another Gamemaker Studios dev out there in the sea of Unity!
This game could be fun if it were more obvious which objects could be interacted with and which couldn't. Did complete the game nonetheless.
Good game! I thing the retro vibe matched perfctly and it is a cool idea, I agree though about stoping the time when you`re talking with someone. Good job!
Really cute music and art, I like the vibe of this a lot. The switch puzzle took me awhile to figure out lol.
Very cool, music could sound a bit more urgent (although technically you have all the time in the world of course). And what is the timer at the end of the game? It counts down from 50 years, so my own lifespan perhaps?
This felt refreshing. Short, but effective. I can only take educated guesses about the true meaning of the numbers at the end, but I enjoyed this game! I don't think I have anything to criticize. Nice job! I hope to see all three of you in Ludum Dare 51!
What a good entry! Well polished and complete, which is always hard during a jam  Loved the 1bit pixel art and the music fit very well. Keep on making games \o/
Great entry! I managed to get to the end and see the massive count down timer :P The random props and buildings confused me a little bit but i managed to figure it out.
looks good, still i couldn't get through the barrel even though i had lighter, maybe i just didnt get something, colliders are weird, it looked like i can go there, but i couldn't, still nice art and great mechanics, loved it)
Great game, liked the 1 bit art and the music was nice. The game felt very polished and well made. Curious about what that timer at the end was?
Awesome idea. Using your previous runs to make progress is great fun. Wish the timer would stop when you're talking to an NPC tho. The 1bit style looks great! And the music really gets the atmosphere going.
It was neat to see how well I could optimize my route to minimize deaths; I wonder if you could reduce the size of rooms slightly, or include a 5th badge somewhere to make it possible to beat the game with just one death?
Clean game, I was confused though and couldn't make it very far.
I liked the puzzle where I have to use multiple runs and place my previous corpse on a button to open a door. Nice, clean, efficient art style. Quite consistent with it too.
I was pretty confused a lot of the time though. It wasn't always clear to me what to do and in the end the game crashed when talking to the lady near the barrel.
Ooh, it looks like there was a lot of inspiration from the game "Minit" (and if you haven't played that before, definitely look into it. I wasn't able to get too far. I didn't know what to do with the object I picked up. I thought I tried interacting with everything, but it's possible I missed something.
Oh, and I think you should stop the timer while the player is reading text / dialogue. Some people read slower than others. Nice game!
Excellent! I really enjoyed this :) Reminded me of Portal, Life Goes On, and of course Minit.
