its a fun concept but it get repetitive fast, maybe random gear placement would have been better.

damn so innovative and so many tiny attention to detail makes this game one of the best i have played in this game . great job !
I don't know if I understood everything, I caught the yellow gear countless times but didn't notice if the challenge was getting harder or if there was another objective. Anyway very stylish entry, the art style is cool, the avatar is cute and nice to handle, and the warp effect is very nice. I have the impression that gameplay was a bit spoiled by the jump behavior being a bit broken (i could spam jump and get anywhere in seconds). Very enjoyable experience nonetheless, the music kicking in later in the game is a nice touch.
@dumbdumb damn your comment makes me really happy dude! Love that you liked it, thanks :)
@solmir2000 The levels are modules randomized by the clockwise position, maybe more randomness would have been better! Thanks for the feedback!
@spotline The challenge gets harder depending on the clockwise position and the level, the game is not to hard because it's a game to relax not to win :)
Thank you very much for all your nice feedback dude!
I like this! Very chill and relaxing, with some nice visual flair. The eyes on the character are a clever touch—that small detail adds a lot. Interesting mechanic too; haven’t seen angular momentum used like this before. Great work.
@mahalis Thanks too much!! I loved that you liked it <3
Cool game
Good concept, but no challenge. Maybe gears you can't touch make it more fun.
Pretty innovative entry: the mechanics is quite interesting. As said above, more randomness would add to the variety of the game. I also had a bug that sometimes, I touched the yellow gear but had no sounds nor did it begin to turn but still went to next level (I haven't found a pattern to reproduce the bug, sorry about that). I also found the warp effect a bit hurtful to the eye when happening multiple times in a raw (maybe having a cooldown on it would be better but that is something every player will fill differently so hard to give a real solution). Pretty nice graphics and cool music tho and I liked the attention to details
I can play this all day! As others said, an increasing difficulty or more obstacles would be nice. Maybe mechanical birds that randomly come out of the wall. Great stuff!
Cool approach to the jam's theme. The art is nice and the game play is really good. I really the ripple effect when you touch a gear. Nice game!
Very relaxing game, I don't know why, but I constantly get the feeling that I am cheating the game. I would love to see a visual feedback on the player when i can I jump again.
I love the minimalist art style. Weirdly enough, the game feels very trippy to play, with the wobble effect and the unusual movement. I didn't quite get how the gears worked, but luckily that didn't prevent me from completing the game. Overall this is quite relaxing, something to zone out to, but I agree with the others that a little more challenge would be nice.
Definitely going to my "chill games to relax to" list
Booyaka
Great idea and clean graphics with a lot of posibilities.
Really nice game. I don't think I understood how the gears worked. Anyway, with some more levels, this can turn into a really good game. Great work!!
The mechanics are a little confusing, but they feel nice and very innovative! If the physics were a bit more tutorialised and some of the floatier aspects were fixed (maybe prevent the player from getting too close to gear centres?) this could be the basis of a very tight and unique platformer. Great work!
@betovf Thanks!
@keyurrana Maybe add a little in game tutorial in the first level is a nice solution to explain the gears behaviour.
Thank you very much for the feedback!
@tjm Thank you very much!! I'm agree with you, a little tutorial in the first level is probably the solution to explain the core mechanics in this game :)
Very nice, mechanics were pretty easy to get use to, although one thing that was confusing was once you got halfway up the clock, Instead of slowing down and then following you seemed to lose all your speed. Good Job though!
I never knew I wanted this game until I played it. Never really knew the mechanics, but thankfully I didn't need to worry. Very nice concept, liked it a lot.
A nice little relaxing game. Good job!
Nice game! It wasn't very hard but it was nice to play through :)
One thing I would change is make the transitions between levels a little smoother -- it felt a little jarring when things instantly changed. Oh, also I assume you noticed this but the gears always push you in the same direction no matter which way they were spinning.
Nice job with the art style too!
Good idea and implementation. Not that easy at the beginning but with some try and error i think i managed it. Good job!
fun to play, and really cool music! Great job :)
It's a simple and relaxing game. The evoluting music was a excellent idea. There seems to be a little bug: when I jumped on the yellow gear to quickly, the sound FX would not play. And sometimes, when we hit twice the same yellow gear because the transition to the next one is too slow it seems to register it as a "legit" move.
If you polish it a little more, it could be a great mini-game. I really enjoyed the simple clock design.
I like the art and idea but it's a bit hard to understand what the gears are meant to do. You get it by testing after a while but maybe if the physics were a bit tighter you would more quickly understand (still a bit unclear to be honest). Good entry though!
chill, simple and short game! Like others, I didn't quite grasp the mechanics fully, but I still made it through :D Noice!
Nice! There are problems with jumping though:
a. The jumping is incredibly unreliable
b. I can move the player with a controller's left stick, but there's no way to jump!
Good design! I love the concept and the simplicity of the character. Nice effects. And the music coming slowly is good too. But I was a bit disappointed by the gameplay. The game is very easy. I don't find it funny and quickly boring. It's a nice mood, a very solid atmosphere, and with better features and objective it could be a very good game. Otherwise it's already a nice little experience very well done.
Niice entry~!
I liked the idea and the graphics~ (i have a soft spot for clocks and gears) and truth is, the mechanics felt pretty intuitive to me~
It would be nice if there was a possibility to gain more momentum as the levels progress and maybe at the end the thingy could do a full circle around the clock~ As if it is the spirit of the clock... and by fixing it little by little.. the spirit, also gets more lively~
Another idea would be to also get it colorized, each level, blue for example, the same as the 'working' gears. This would help the player understand some progression (because at some point, right before the end text, I thought I had made a full loop and the game just kept going..) I believe some minor additions like these would help build on some character and story to the game
Well doone~!! :clock:
Cool game!
I wasn't really sure if what I was doing was the right thing but I guess it was since I cleared it in the end :D. It's a chill little game, I enjoyed playing. SFX was cool, but it didn't play every time I touched the yellow gear. The mechanics were a bit... weird for me but at least they worked. The game got a little repetitive and was a bit easy towards the end once you got the hang of it. But it's not a bad thing for a game like this. This is a nice entry and could be even better with some polish.
Overall fun little game, nice job!
The game is really great. I had no real idea what I was doing and why, but nontheless I enjoyed the experience.
Quite fun to play, but I think adding a more progressive difficulty curve/more variation could go a long way ! Great polish overall, I like this "wobbly" effect
