This summarizes my life for the past few days
I love this so much. The atmosphere is amazing and cozy, despite the stress of coding (much like the atmosphere I tried to make for myself during this jam!). The art and music are lovely. Very well done!
@iguanana So glad you liked it! Thank you :two_hearts:
@n-studios Hehe we share the same life :sparkles:
Holy- This could easily be expanded upon and made into a full game, maybe a sort of Sims type game or something. The art style is amazing as well and I love the lighting/atmosphere. Awesome job.
That was so much better than I expected for such a short 72h time period, it felt super polished and really fun to play. Very meta, I think that's what we've all been doing here haha, really good game, great job! :D
I love Point & Click games, your graphics style reminds me of a Beholder, but you know... your game is a lot "brighter" and happier. :D
I think music should be kinda more loud, but it really fits mood of the game and works perfect as a background. Sound effects are great too.
I'm actually amazed that this is a webgl game, can't believe you could run something like this in browser. This game is really, really beautiful.
Love the aesthetics and how polished the game feels! Great work guys
Wow! I didn't know it was possible to make a game that looks and feels so good in just 72 hours! Amazing work!
This game is so polished, you must not have procrastinated as much as in the game lol
So meta and fitting for the theme of this jam. Loved the transition from the computer to showing the whole bedroom/apartment! Audio is very nice as well.
God this game is pretty... and such a cozy experience. It perfectly encapsulates what all of us have been going through the last few days... Thank you for making this!
What if some people enjoy writing code ?
Just kidding, really well designed game. It's short, but on point. Good job !
This so clean ! Reminds me a lot when I was doing homeworking during lockdown with lofi in background. Everything is on point. As a 3d artist, I especially appreciate the effort put in the environment and the personality you gave with the texturing and lighting ! (also like the zevent reference XD)
Beautiful experience and nice ideas, I would love to write code just like that  but no matter what I did, I couldn't fill up the happiness gauge, is that a bug ? Or am I dumb ? No one else seems to have had this problem here... Still, very polished and relaxing overall ! Great job
@forgin-bits Thanks ! it is indeed a bug, we are not sure how to replicate it yet, I have seen it happen for some people and not for others...
This game gives me PTSD after hours of coding :D But love the vibe! It is so clean and aesthetically pleasing. Keep it up!
Not really challenging but perhaps cathartic for all us programmers, just mashing away at the keyboard mindlessly and stuff gets done - now thats some next level intellisense. Great game. Top notch art
Thanks everyone! Really glad you like it as much as we did making it :) (still need to make my laundry but instead procrastinating playing ld games haha)
@forgin-bits sorry you're having the bug! We're trying to figure it out :o Can you tell us which browser and OS you're using, and if you have Hardware Acceleration enabled? I hope you can have it working in another browser! We'll try to tackle this bug but no promises!
@drjedd @lucasprince I'm on Google Chrome, windows 10, with hardware acceleration enabled. Doesn't work on Edge either here... good luck on that bug, keep me updated
@forgin-bits last question : do you have a dedicated GPU (graphics card?) or an integrated Intel one?
the web gl version dosent work at all the keyboard input was not ready, can you add exe ?
@akitl hello! Sorry you're having problems. So far you're the only one who's reported issues with the keyboard. Can you be more specific? (Browser, what exactly happens or doesn't happen? Does it happen on other browsers/computers?) With more info we try and fix that for you and everyone else! Thank you very much!
After a weekend of making the LD and now playing a bunch of games, this one really hit the spot :D A great feelgood game. I didn't see the animations that are in the screenshots though?
the game start fine and when im face to the prompt i cant type anything
Totally awesome game! The graphics and gameplay is fantastic, and i can connect with our sad protagonist.. it is so easy to procrastinate!! 10/10 game, Great work! :v:
Always love the meta ideas. And that ending tho, quite literally the best!
Fantastic work! Lovin the art style! Fun story!
Very funny game, thank you <3
Well... I really like this game <3 <3 <3 it was really cute and funny and the art style is really good ^^
Wow this game was amazing!!! I loved every single element! It was so fun typing away then enjoying all of the cute activities you can do to raise happiness. I really enjoyed it, I wish there was more to do! I'd actually play this if you work on it more in the future... beautiful art, cute music, very cozy game <3
@akitl Did you click once to get out of the dialogue? Before typing? (Yeah it's not explicit, sorry for that)
I really liked your game!! such a pleasant atmosphere and everything is like in life!
I'm just delighted with the visuals, you are very cool connected 2D and 3D very nice and atmospheric! The game is just chic, just like in real life.. Thank you for such a wonderful game!!1
Love the visual style. Lots of fun to play through that one, and a good balance of time management and quirky humor! I want to download the soundtrack from this.
Such a cute little game. The graphics and audio are very pleasing and relaxing, and create such a nice mood for it. There isn't much gameplay here beyond time management, but I'd say this game is a lot more about the vibes.
Had a lot of fun it. Nice job.
It's very pretty! I didn't feel like there were any bad decisions and I won fairly easily, but great base!
Wonderful visuals and great sound design! You really pushed hard for the polish, it really is well made for a Jam!
The gameplay is simple but fits the relaxing soundtrack, and is a nice change of pace from the other games where you have to play hyper fast hahaha (looking at my teams' heh)
@drjedd I do have an nvidia graphic card
Fantastic game, amazing how you guys managed to finish this in a weekend. Great job this is super impressive work!
I liked the art style and the calming music, gameplay was ok good point and click game :D
Beautiful graphics and mood. The idea and execution is very well done but is not hard/long enough, you literally doesn't have to really pay attention to resource management. Other than that it is super cute game, would love to see it updated sometime!
thats was a good game! I couldn't increase my happiness and i was really fun because i love point click games. no problem at all. nice graphics too!!! really cute.
Lovely little experience. Even though the mechanics weren't too "gamey" and it was pretty simple, the graphics, theme and execution were incredible. Really good job!
This is outlandishly well done - I am amazed at how much you got done for this! The art style is so cute and cozy, so many little unique animations and visuals, the audio is satisfying and juicy, and the post processing is so warm and nice. If only my real jam had been as relaxing as this one seemed :joy: Stellar job, you should all be proud of this (and make something else in this exact style too 😉)
Amazing little game, complete in every aspect, no criticism can be given, very well polished, I would love to see this game on a bigger scope!
-Tim
The art style is just crazy! Love this game! Really set up the mood!
Very well done!
Beautiful art, it really felt like a real place! I like the way you told the story and while the gameplay is not particularly deep or difficult, this was a joyous cozy experience! The only thing I wished for was for not having to type the same function every time . Or having to perform different tasks for each of the to dos.
Wooow, beautiful game and so polished. Great work! :)
This is so beautiful and cute. Both the 3d and 2d art were super nice to look at. Amusing and relatable writing too - especially all those post-it notes were quite funny. I had a lot of fun finding all the endings. Gotta love jam-meta-games too, great stuff!
Love the art :)
Near the end I had to rush the dialogue though because it doesn't stop while reading and looking at the pictures.
@n-studios @iguanana @gnome4 @juulh @benk86 @juan-garcia-jousset @lancival @nate-the-great @beefsock @andidebob @arscene @ramelio @forgin-bits @x000000 We played and rated your games (and tried to give some constructive feedback) over at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1449195619
@drjedd @lucasprince @kizu @henriforshort thanks so much for playing and rating my game, thats the first time someone actually plays one of my games live ! you rock dudes  by the way the happiness gauge is now working properly on your game, good job for fixing it. There were so many funny little details, like the "I was too lazy to draw that" and the sticky notes. Oh and is that someone eating chips in the audio background ? Short but brilliant game
@forgin-bits The chips / crunch thing is a volume bug that's been recurring since the beginning of the jam haha! And it's the lesser of two evils believe me! I will probably write a blog post on my sound design struggles for this project, it was a very frustrating adventure!
@drjedd Thank you for playing and reviewing our game and thanks for the feedback! :D
amazing art, and music, the concept its feel really well. Love it
It is amazing how you made so complete game during the jam. Rare thing.
The game is super charming and it's awesome to be able to relate to a character of a jam game.
The graphics are cute, the music and sounds are cool and the overal experience is very good.
Congratulations.
Love the art style with the blend of both 2d and 3d art. Like that the game is about the jam and balancing your daily life. I enjoyed my time playing it.
Finally came back and played this!!! And wow! I don't regret it!
First of all.. loved the programming. Finally I can feel like Neo from Matrix too, hehe.
Without having to learn a single function! Turns out Hello World was enough all this time. Who knew?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msX4oAXpvUE
Hehe. I also really liked the general idea and vibe, so meta!!
Graphics were unbelievably cute and I can't believe you made such a nice game with great lighting for WebGL T___T
It looked just so cute and precious! <3
Also, because it's a gamejam, I wanted to get this b*tch done, aaaaand...
gamejamGame.jpg
Yeahhhh! Take this! hehe.
Controls were very intuitive except maybe the first but where it said "Smash the keyboard", because I thought I need to do that to continue (while it was click to make the message go away and then do that) So having a little thing indicating you have to click to remove that, and X button or simply making the window close itself upon h8ck1ng would have been nice :) (but I figured it out either way)
Great entry, basically 5 stars all around from me! Good job, guys!
P.S.: Of COURSE fanficition saves the day.. that's a no brainer! :D
What a cozy game! I loved the art, writing an animations. The music is very soothing as well (my feared the mouth noises at the beginning would last during the whole game, but fortunately they quickly go away!). I can 100% relate to this jam experience. Also mashing keyboard like a pro-hacker is always fun. Sure, the game doesn't provide much challenge, but it doesn't need to I think. It's just enjoyable by being simple and asking basic tasks. Really a nice experience, well done!
@itooh Hello friend :) Thanks for the feedback! The "mouth noises" at the beginning are a bug I should eventually fix but I ran out of patience with Unity hahaha - Also we made the game relatively easy for this jam version but we might make it a post-jam version that feels more challenging!
Just wow, unbelievably polished game in the time constraints! I loved the cosy vibe and how accurate to real life game jams it was! The gameplay was pretty fun trying to balance being stressed and happy (again like reality) I geuinly have nothing but priase, amazing job!!!
I made it to the deadline! That's simply the most beautiful entry I played this LDJAM. Great work! I also reduced my stress and increase my happiness playing it so good work!
hahaha I love mashing my keyboard to write code XD even after doing it a few times it's still funny
