Adorable! Running into this after an AI-heavy game felt like a breath of fresh air. My one wish is that we see the resulting scene after solving the object-puzzle instead of immediately being taken back to the map---but that's a small gripe. Great work!
Fun, short, and to the point! As you said, I was playing against Jar Jar, but the high score mechanic encourages some challenge I suppose. I really like the idea of racing to block the opponent and secure territory rather than just racing to collect as many flies as possible. Reminds me of Blokus (a similar board game). Good job!
Really cute, and seems to be all-around functional! Love to see some mobile games love in the competition. Thanks for making it.
Core mechanic is implemented really well! I can see some fun puzzles being built around this idea.
Looks like the game isn't loading on the LD Jam Page---but to anyone reading, the Itch link works just fine!
A little slide-y for my platformer tastes (I'm very bad at platformers so I need things Tight) but the aesthetics cannot be overstated. So cute! It reminded me, and I mean this in the best way possible, of the Disney Princess GBA game.
Congrats on your first LD! I really like your concept/theme. My advice for post-jam cleanup would be to angle the sprite to your keyboard input so we get a better sense of moving down/up. You can even set the projectiles to come out in the direction of the last input. All this just serves to give the player a better sense of control. Thanks for making this!
Cute little platformer! Loved the adherence to the theme. I struggled a bit determining what was a platform and what was background aesthetics, but I beat it just fine.
LD website version didn't load for me but for anyone reading this---Itch link works just fine.
