This was genuinely very enjoyable! Sadly, every time I got to 50 miles, the game crashed for me, so I couldn't play for very long (I tried again with different browsers). Still, looking forward to coming back and trying again when that's fixed!
EDIT: I came back for it and it did not disappoint. Thanks for the fix! Amazing idea and execution!

@drkie Thanks for playing and for the feedback. You definitely spotted a defect in our latest build. I have fixed the bug so it doesn't crash at the 50 mile mark. Hope you'll have time to give it another go

This is very unique and very smooth to play. The UI elements, controls, and overall art is just very welcoming and easy to approach. Good stuff! Also, when I reached 50 miles and pressed 1... I am very satisfied.
Cool game i got 101 miles
Very enjoyable. It looks beautiful, and plays well (and is actually quite fun) though I felt the traffic poles where a bit tough to spot at times. I think improving their visibility in some way could make this even better. Great job!

I had fun playing the game. Graphics were super cool. I think it would have benefitted from a small arrow pointing toward the largest jam. Sometime it is easy to get lost in the choas.

The music lures you into a false sense of security, as the amount traffic rapidly escalates, and no amount of nukes can save you. I liked the design of the little planet a lot, and the gameplay was nice and simple.
Overall, great entry!
This was probably one of the most fun i've had, it is really enjoyable indeed. honestly i could play this for the whole day. The peaceful guitar music and the chaotic gameplay, gotta love that. good job
First impression: polished, very neat but a little bit confusing. In terms of technical execution i would say 8/10. Where it is lacking is how the game communicates with the player, as the elements are quite tiny (keep in mind I am playing on a laptop). The colours are well balanced but a little bit bland, a bit more contrast here and there, in the UI or perhaps some alerts to show where things are happening on the globe would have been nice. I honestly just love how it is put together, the traffic is oddly relaxing, especially with the music. Later I thought about , what if the globe was a little smaller and the road maybe a more intricate, I think that would increase the information density and paradoxically make it more orderly. Thank you for the experience! Great work overall!

I'm pretty sure the traffic lights in real life are also managed like this. I just hope they won't resort to the nukes!
Really nice game! The music and artstyle make it oddly relaxing.
This is my favourite one so far!
At first I was like "this is so relaxing", then ten minutes later I am clicking like an absolute fiend.
Brilliant.

This was a genuinely enjoyable play! Thank you for your hard work and congratulations on the result you produced! I particularly loved the countdown over top of this insanely peaceful music.. it kept playing in the background while I was "working" and alarmed me because I thought I had put on some ambient music!
Look at what these jams do to us :D

Really strong entry ! The game is really well put together. The UI is on point, feels really good to play and the updrade twist is really fun ! Really well done ! One of my favorite so far !
Only thing I would change is to make the world take up more of the screen, and make the traffic lights bigger. I had to play full-screen on a huge monitor to be able to see what I was doing, as in the browser each traffic light is just a few pixels. Very good idea to make the playing area a sphere as opposed to a flat map, brings (literally) another dimension.
Really good game, well done.

I really love your entry, only thing I could suggest is to make you lose when you cause a crash. I feel like trying to stress out the player to make "correct" decisions would improved the overall game feel. But hey, as mentioned this is a really solid entry!

Played it a couple of times. Feels very fun to play. The first time I made ~250 miles, so I started the second run more relaxed, reassured by the upgrades I bought, and also fooled by the music and by the apparent slow pace of the cars at the beginning. What a fool. 100 miles in the second run.

Its great theme, the concept of this game is so original and cool i really like it. I enjoy your little traffic world. Great work!
So fun to play, made ~200 miles great work!

This was very fun - one of the only games so far that I've played twice. The graphics are pretty, though I agree with some others that the traffic lights could benefit from being bigger or more visible. That doesn't take away from the fact that this is a very good game though.
Love the aesthetics, simple but readable. Took me a while to find out about the upgrades. The basic game loop is a bit repetitive. Would love to see more interesting mechanics.
Nice sound, and the idea, i like graphics and soundTrack is also nice

Loved it! I would have liked being able to move the world using WASD instead of the mouse, and maybe clicking on the intesections instead of the small traffic poles would have been easier, but other then that very fun and polished entry!

Well done! It looks polished and balanced, pretty innovating gameplay, pleasant colors and interface in general. And I like your ways to solve traffic problems)) So the game have a huge potential for my mind, and could grow to pretty interesting mix of strategy and fun arcade.. with building or upgrading roads, put some breages, and all that with this fun solutions about exploding cars, some allians.. May some story all over it and narrative encounters.
Id recommend to try different ways of moving map, it might be by buttons or moving mouse to borders. And may be traficlights make bigger.
Great game! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall feel of the game. It was relaxing but not at the same time. It was fairly simple but that wasn't a bad thing. I really liked the option of upgrades at the end. I think one thought I had would be to shorten up the first game you play so you can get upgrades sooner then play with those earlier.

Really cool game, I had a great time with it. I liked that cars appeared without me even noticing. There were just more cars all of a sudden and I didn't even know where they came from! The one note is it was a little hard to tell the direction the cars were going, especially when there were a ton of cars, so they could be backed up by two lights and I didn't know which they were waiting for without clicking both lights for example. Really fun though, I enjoyed it a lot.
Easy to play, fun, innovative, perfect fit with the theme, no crash/bugs ... Omega Good Job!
Maybe the beginning of each run is a bit slow, it becomes boring after several runs, but not a big deal
It's hard to stop playing, gameplay is super fun and these upgrades won't let me go.
Favorite entry so far!

Wow. Really fun and the calming music contrasts with what you would expect from a traffic jam. Great game.

a genuinely fun experience, the art is good looking, but specially how the gameplay and the art goes together is fascinating, i hope you will add more to this game as the mechanism itself is very veey interesting. the music keeps the humour to be honest working in contrast to the gameplay.
Me: "Where are all those cars are getting to this small planeeeet, aaahhh, please stop"
Very cool implementation, smooth graphics and idea. I just didn't liked audio much, becauase as for me it should be intense and pushing. We have a similar experience in our game and decided to use fast fun music. But that doesn't mean that audio bad, just not for me, I suppose :)
Great game, thank you for it! One of my favs I suppose :)

My patience was not enough to go much further than the first engine check. That was a blast tho! Made me laugh out loud!

Wow this was fun! I loled when I got my first engine failure and it EXPLODED! That game mechanic could probably be introduced even earlier in the game. Music was perfect for this game. It prevented me from getting too stressed out. Also the colors and graphics were soothing and nicely balanced. This could be a perfect game for mobile I feel like. Great job!
I recorded myself playing, message me on the Jam’s discord @ Dark Peace and I’ll send it to you. The design of this game is incredible. It should be so stressful but it's not ! There's so many stressful games in this jam, at least that's the intention, but yours made the most stressful thing into something chill ! The globe was very cool too, you could have done the game without it, but you went out of the way to find this mechanic that makes the game 2 times as cool.

@drkie Thanks for coming back and trying the game again! And thanks for letting us know something was wrong :)
@benjamm That was the reaction we were aiming for!
@pashaloban Good job, thanks for playing!
@hajpappan I agree, the traffic poles could have been more visible. Thanks for the feedback!
@surfa Glad you liked it :) Nice idea with the arrow. I guess one would always be having an arrow to somewhere, adding a bit (more) of stress to game.
@toc We thought the music was a nice contrast to the stressing traffic. Finding music to fit traffic is a bit odd. Thanks for playing.
@infecsean I'm glad you liked it, that why we make games :)
@hartvichio Yeah, some more feedback on the state of the traffic would have been nice. But you know, time was up, as it always ends up being :) I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing.
@reronin Some times it feels like it for sure :P
@teddyreid Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it :)
@baconeta Haha! I can see how the warning sounds can be alarming when you are not expecting them. Glad you like it, thanks for playing.
@ramelio Thanks for the feedback. We feel that for once we made a game that feels polished :) Glad you enjoyed playing it.
@madbeagle The game is intended to be played at full screen. Yet the traffic poles turned out a bit too small, and difficult to see from above. We only managed to do a tiny amount of playing/balancing and at that point it was too late to fix. We really like the "small" globe map as well. Thanks for the feedback!
@picknucker Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
@arscene Cars crashing was not intentional so... So, we just didn't get around to fix it :) But I see what mean, thanks for the feedback!
@johnfish Yeah, you can never relax in traffic! :)
@nymerit Glad you liked it, thanks for playing!
@katasunder Thanks, that a solid score!
@nathanoc Yeah, I agree. But we realized it too late thou. Thanks for playing.
@bauke-regnerus Yeah, it could use some variation. We thought about adding a firetruck that should get through or something in that direction. But you know, that takes time...
@ikvelibrium Glad you liked it, thanks for playing our game!
@mensio The clicking area of traffic pole is fairly big, but making the intersection itself clickable would have made sense yes. Also I haven't actually thought of moving with WASD, I will try that if I make a globe game again. Thanks for feedback!
@makerart I actually thought of making a "weapon" with aliens coming to the planet and beaming up some cars. But that would require a significant amount of time complete :X I don't know if moving the map by borders might be too heavy on the mouse movements, but using keys is definitely something I will try out in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
@tanner-shelton Yes, the first game should have been a bit shorter, but we sort of ran out of time while balancing. You know, just like everybody else :) Note to self, playtest earlier!
@link270 Yes, the cars should have shown direction more obvious. Thanks for playing!
@aspect-studio I guess you weren't the very first the play the game then :X It was difficult to find a balance between a slow enough start for the first round, and not too slow for the latter ones. It might have end up on the slower side... Thanks for playing!
@dje-ricane That great to hear! That's why we makes games :)
@tiny-pig Yep, relaxing tunes to the annoying traffic. Thanks for playing.
@dobryn I'm glad you liked it :) I hope I time to develop it a bit further!
@yogurtthehorse Yeah, the music surely doesn't scream intense stress. We could just as well have went with something fastpaced. But thanks for the honest opinion and feedback, that's what we like!
@voxar Hehe, that was the response we were aiming for :)
@ocwal I'm glad you enjoyed it :) Thanks for trying our game!
@bottled-up-dark-peace I would love to see that, I'll hit you up on discord when I get the time :)
Superb game, polished, great UI, great look liked the concept (felt like a weird take on an incremental (in a good way)) Great job!
Started our relaxing and enjoying a peaceful game, next minute Im absolutely stressing about the swamps of traffic - very clever game. Well done.
great idea! Love the mechanics, and would be nice to try to lay this game with some tablet. Great job!
