I looooove this game (maybe because ive been trying to implement surf and bhopping in my own games) and I love the source movement. Despite my love for the movement based pineapple shooter, I think I would definitely enjoy a "Surfer" as much as this game is a "bhopper". Time constraints, I know. Great Game love it
This was a nice game, a lot in such a small time frame. One thing to note is the lack of hand-holding tutorial to walk you through, instead of just throwing you straight into the game, but it is understandable due to the lack of time. Other than that, it gets better over time, and it's a great game!
MMMh this game is so well-made! I absolutely love the gameplay and the concept of harvesting letters. I guess the only thing I can criticize is the lack of a menu, but who needs that when you got an amazing game? Overall, chef's kiss.
The gameplay is very intuitive, and there was a clear tutorial on how to play which also helped a lot. The dungeon-like music complemented the gameplay very nicely and the mechanisms are also quite interesting. Very nice game.
Interesting gameplay, loved the artstyle, not too pixel-y, and also loved the little trail behind the player. Though I did get stuck somewhere when I tried to go to a new chamber/level and the camera just didn't move to the new chamber. Other than that, it's a great entry.
The art style is soo good, and the animations are also very impressive, not to mention how fun the gameplay is. I would like to point out tho that the player's bullets don't seem to scale up as the enemies start to spawn everywhere. It got to a point where I felt like I wasn't doing damage, or that my efforts were insignificant and might as well just try to dodge. Other than that, great game!
Congrats on your first Ludum Dare! You did a great job. I liked the nice gameplay loop and the take on the theme. I would say that there isn't really anything to do once you just accidentally harvest all your crops (maybe thats just me) but anyways, good game overall!
Extremely fun to play, did not expect the graphics to be so good too. One thing I would point out is the slo-mo when killing the zombie guys, although it doesn't bother me, it kind of interrupts the pace for me. Also the big boiiii kind of limits my ability to shred the zombies as they sometimes are able to attack me when I shred them.
Overall, amazing fun and great game.
Rarely do I get to play as the prey, so that is an interesting concept. I especially liked the cute little character and the puzzle concepts, kinda reminds me of pac-man. Some things that I would like to point out: - I would enjoy a larger hitbox when collecting the fruit. - The walking sound could use some variation, as others have pointed out. Very interesting artstyle and cool graphics
At first glance, this game is quite beautiful, so much so that I accidentally killed like 7 of my little dudes on during the first round, but love the god rays (or maybe just the lighting in general). Now that i think about it, the lighting is very well complemented by the dark tone of the nature of the game, a bit too soft (not in a bad way) for how many people i killed. I guess thats just what happens in a harvest, you gotta lose some.
While I am personally not that much of a fan of card games, this game was really well-made. The concept was cool i guessss, how it made all the crops and cult stuff connect together. Ooooh the feeling of having my own cult. have a nice day. great game overall.

The spider character is just so darn cute and it's hard not to love it. The graphic style is also really cool, with a unique and eye-catching aesthetic. One of the best things about the game is the double jump mechanic, which adds a fun and exciting element to the gameplay. The bug-eating mechanics are also really innovative, adding a unique twist to the gameplay. However, it can be a bit hard to learn at first and may take some time to master.
The game is definitely not for the faint of heart, as it can be quite challenging at times, but that only adds to the satisfaction of overcoming the obstacles. However, the tutorial is only provided in text format and some players may find it difficult to fully understand the mechanics of the game.
Additionally, it would be great if the game offered more in terms of difficulty options, such as easy or normal modes for those who are not quite ready for the full challenge.
Overall, the game does a great job of providing a challenging and satisfying experience, but a little more guidance and accessibility options would make it even better.
The voice acting in this game is top-notch and the characters are so well written that you can't help but love them (or love to hate them). The gameplay is incredibly fun and fast-paced, making for a truly immersive experience. And let's not forget the satisfying feeling of a well-executed massacre.

I was thinking "This can't be what I think it is", then OH MY GOD IT IS. I kinda love it, although I wish I had a headset so I can experience it firsthand. I would play this if I get a cat.
Peace was never an option. I get that French keyboard uses a different layout, which I believe is the main problem for me. I really like ducks. Death animation makes me feel powerful. Not sure about the relation to the theme. Overall, great game very fun.
Great execution of theme, 10 seconds fits really well as a countdown time here, but it gets stale after a while. That can be fixed with more time so I have no complaints. A quit button tho.
Best time for me is 88, and I really wanna keep playing. This game is a whole new definition of rhythm game, good job with that. Although a feedback for when you can move should be a thing, as I often find myself spamming the movement keys, as they work when spammed so why not. Maybe either introduce a feedback or decentivize spamming by putting a cooldown or something. That is just a suggestion, the game is still one of my top 5s.
Reminds me of the old Atari Space invaders type games, but you can move and you cant let the enemies lose.

What coolgun said! The mechanics needs some time to get used to, but once we get used to it, its super fun! Due to it being a movement parkour I think a sensitivity setting would be great! Definitely my top 5 tho

This game has so much content I tried to exhaust all the options, eventually i realized that the picture on the wall changed and the music started to get wonky. my kind of game. interesting concept and innocent gameplay loop on the outside, but deep in reality. jokes aside, while some parts of the dialogues are funny, its actually kind of sad an unsettling, its like dark humor. Very well done.

this is indeed the longest commute. the art direction was great and very authentic. the music was very interesting. tho i had to mess around a bit to get the controls. pretty fun game with an interesting concept.

It has a good gameplay loop, but would probably get stale quickly, and I don't really get the place of the hole digging thing, and it is oftentimes unclear where the interact dialogue would pop up, but I can imagine playing this if it's polished enough!

that's actually a cool concept, surrounding the distracting the skelees, I opened the game, got stuck at the first level, closed the game, came back, looked at the gif, "OMG OK", went back and beat the first skele and got killed and gave up. Good game
