Would love to see option to change window size, as on the 3440 x 1440 monitor it is very hard - half of the map and UI is unreachable. Despite this I enjoyed my experience - sounds in particular. Church sound effect is very cool. Game really reminded me "Islanders" that I once played, but with a slight sinknig twist) Well done!
cool game but ground too curve i survived 16 rounds
I don't know how to build higher and higher and just for relax, well done.
A pretty fun game... I feel like money is never an issue since I end up not really even looking at the number, but apart from that I really enjoyed making a tall tower. +Points for the church sound effect.

I was able to survive 14 rounds. I love this game. The music is simple and relaxing. Just chill.

The graphics are very cool, but the sound effects and sountrack are the absolute best i've found this far! Good job. About the gameplay, maybe it's just me but i couldn't pile up the buildings, they just kept falling over because there is no friction, so at the slightest angle they just slide down and fall into the ocean. Other than that, good job, i can see you put a lot of creativity into it.
Very funny, without a doubt the audio and sounds are the best xD. great job!

I'm not really sure what I was doing, but this was fun! Super relaxing. Considering "Delay the inevitable" prompted so many more survive-as-long-as-you-can non-stop-action games, I'm really pleased to find one that lets you take your time. I am also pleased with the sfx and bgm. Quite pleased.
I'm not sure what the religious buildings were doing. Was a mechanic that wasn't fully implemented?
The feature to split buildings into pieces was also new and interesting. I haven't seen that before, and it's quite welcome here, where I want to place them on top of each other as much as I can. I made it 15 rounds!

This was super cute and quite relaxing to play. I enjoyed my time with it :)
Wish there were a few more different island layouts and wanted to understand the effects of each building a bit more but other than that it was a good time and totally on theme!
Very relaxing and fun, quite easy to get how to play it, really love the music. Reminds me of Islanders. also my record was 14 rounds, pretty good to me
Totally agreed with one of the comments above - I had no clue what I was doing a lot of the time (apart from building cool island towns) but it was also so relaxing that I really didn't mind. I guess what would've helped me personally would be making the sort of background mechanics around faith, etc were more obvious. Overall though nice work!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! <3
We built the game now for WebGL also, so people can play it without downloading or if they have incompatible aspect ratios or operating systems. The water shader had to be redone and visual quality slider is gone from options, otherwise it is the exact same jam game.
As for some people not fully understanding the goal, don't sweat, as long as you are enjoying the atmosphere you are doing it right! That said, you can always find goal of the game and explanation of the mechanics from the settings screen (esc). For example the faith from religious buildings makes water rise a bit less between rounds.

Complex game. The best options to stack building are the one that cost more money, and so you have to balance expenditure as well as buildings.
Great variety of models. Maybe a litte to hard for the lack of flat land: i lasted about the same turns (16) bouding on the mountain top that on the small hill.
Great entry
At first I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but then I found the instructions and figured it out and had quite a good time the second time around. I sometimes had to guess which building did what but overall, it was pretty fun and goofy with the physics and sounds. At the very end I managed to stack like three houses on top of each other on the mountain and made it to turn 18! Good job!
At first i didn't know how this fits the game or what the point of my buildings were. I didn't see why they fell so randomly and collapsed. Then the water rose high enough and this is so good and funny.
Really really loved it! It was fun to stack buildings on top of each other, and it was equally as sad when your tower would fall over (XD)! I got to 19 rounds my first try, and it was super fun! Great job, all of you; 4.5/5 stars from me!
What a complex game~ It was hard to get my head around the mechanic at first, after a couple of tries i got it
It really shows a big variety of stuff, a lot of work right there ~ Sometimes it was hard to put buildings down as they just fall off because of the terrain
Awesome stuff see you next jam~!
Loved it! Was able to survive to round 21 by building large housing units atop each other. To the mooooooon!
