One of the best LD46 entries I've seen so far. The graphics, sound, and gameplay were all perfect.
Great game idea. Opening sequence was great btw :)
I actually really like this game. The only issue I had was that the controls could feel a bit unresponsive at times. The graphics though are really good. Great job!
The graphics and sfx are good. The only problem with the game is that the jump physics are a bit unreliable. Othert than that though I liked it, a lot.
Looks great. Looking forward to the post mortem.
Really addicting. The game is accessible and fun to play. Graphics looked good. Overall a pretty good LD Game.
Nice game. Audio was good, I found the animation for the pig on the edge a bit weird at first though, but I gou used to it. One thing the game could benefit from is increasing difficulty. I found the game a little too easy at times. Other than that great job for 12 hours!
It reminds me of a few mobile games I've played in the past. I liked the way enw mechanics were introduced. Also the amount of levels and mechanics is surprisingly big for a game made in 48 hours. The level design could be improved somewhat, most of the time I could get past by just placing blocks randomly.
I like the graphics in the game. They remind me somewhat of the gameboy. As for the gameplay I foound it a bit hard to figure out what to do, but other than that it's far from a bad game, well done.
For something made in six hours it definitely came out well.
Good game. I liked the newspaper shot at the end. The audio seemed to really fit the game too.
While there isn't a huge amount to do, I do still like the retro feel of your game. Overall a pretty good game.
Really great game. Loved the 'Game Jam' idea. My only issue is that I found it to be a bit too easy. Apart from that though good job for something done in 2 days.
It's a great little puzzle game, probably one of the best LD games I've rated so far. The only minor issues are that I think the tutorial could be made a bit better. It can feel unlear as to what you're supposed to do at first. I also found it kind of annoying to keep clicking on the different text boxes (although it probably would have taken too much time to fix).
Great Game. Like the fact that you have to keep your eye on three different things at a time.
Are you sure you uploaded the right file? The download just appears to be a folder shortcut.
Really fun for two people. The only issue I have with the game is that there's only one level. Other than that though I really liked the audio and felt that the graphics suited the game.
I liked the music and graphics. It took me a little while to figure out what I was supposed to do. After that though I found it to be a pretty fun game. Good job!
I like the idea. Bit of a different control scheme than usual in games but it worked well. Overall a pretty good game!
This is a great example of an LD game. It's simple enough to be made in 48 hours but fun enough to have players hooked from the start. Good job!
Nice concept. I love your pixel art. I just found it to be a bit hard to control but that's probably just me. Nice idea, nice execution, good job overall.
@gamedoodles yeah I wanted to add an option to the title screen to change that but ran out of time in the end.
@blipbloop thanks for playing. Glad you liked the sound, it took hours to get it to work
I'll go check both of your games out.
@jupiter-hadley Thanks! The video looks great.
I think it would probably be better if the text populated from left to right instead of in the middle. Other than that though it's a pretty solid entry. Some room for improvemrnt but for the most part it's good. p.s I wonder who the president is based on ;)
Interesting take on the theme. I enjoyed playing. Good work on the graphics too.
Hands down the best game I've rated so far. Love the humour and UI. Great job!
While I do like the game, I feel that it could benefit from some kind of tutorial. It's a good game idea but I think you may lose some players just from them not understanding. Apart from that though I liked the music and felt the graphics fit the game well.
Good game. It's simplistic yet fun. I really like the effects yous have in there.
Really liked the retro sound effects, and the way the player moved gave me old game and watch vibes.
Love the artstyle
The controls on this game feel great. I also like the background music you made for the game. Gameplay was good too. I found myself playing a few times just to try and get further. Overall great job!
Good game overall. My only criticism is that the aiming doesn't seem to work the best at times. Apart from that though, I like the music and the graphics. Well done.
Intresting concept. I think this has great potential to be a great 'post-LD' game.
One of the most interesting games I've seen so far. Nice job!
It's an interesting game to say the least. Good job on it though.
Great grpahics. The game is polished really well. The controls felt responsive and the level desing was good. Great job.
Loved the puzzles. Would be improved by some music but the puzzle design makes up for it.
The game is good overall but has a few faults. Firstly I found it difficult to read the text while playing. Seocndly the lack of audio detracts from the experience. Having some sound effects would really improve the game. Apart fom these it's a solid entry.
Great job on this one. The game fits the theme well and was enjoyable to play. Maybe tutorial would have helped somewhat though I imagine time constriants got in the way of that one.
Nice to see another Twine game. You've clearly put a lot of effort into this. I'll always have a soft wpot for text adventures but great job on this.
Took me a seocnd to realise how the harpoon worked. Liked the puzzles. Quite polished, though I might have preferred if the character moved slightly faster. Great job.
Great game. I'm surpriseds with how much you mamanged to get done in 2 days. GRaphics and music were good. Only problem was with the controls. Would have preferred the ability to slow down rather than break when letting go of 'w' and also the steering could be a bit more precise.
Good mechanic and it's implemented well. While the game is a bit short it's well polished. Good game overall.
Good game. It can be a bit ahrd to see things at times thoough.
Nice game. The concept seemed simplistic at first but quickly lended itself to some interesting puzzles. Music and graphics fit well. Great job.
Nice concept but a little bit more control would be nice.
Very well polished game. Graphics looked good. Sound was a bit repetitive at times. Good job overall.
Nice concept. Would like to see more wxploration of the theme. It would also help if the game had some music. Other than that it's a decent entry, well done.
Good game idea. Some music would have been nice along with some moving animations. Also the screen could do with a prompt at the start to let players know to move. Other tyhan that the game plays well. Good job on this.
Very original. Good take on the theme, though the anatomy was a bit weird (teeth in his throat?). Good job on this.
Very polished game (and interesting ending). The gameplay is simple and fun, and the music is also good. Well done.
Really liked this game. The presentation is very good and the sound effects gave good feedback to the player.
I quite liked this game. It's very well polished and the gameplay is fairly enjoyable.
Nice game. I liked the new twist on minesweeper. I think that the level design could be improved a bit to reduce the amount of guesswork though.
For 48 hours, this is a fairly good entry. It could maybe have done with a little bit mroe polish but given all of the features implemented, this is still a very good entry.
Gameplay was simple but enjoyable. My main issue is that the I never really found a reason to use the fire breath. It was a lot easier just to keep a safe distance and use the fireball. Other than that it's a fairly well-designed game.
Really liked this game. It was an interesting idea to make a wordle-like game but add a story. Would have liked to see a bit more relation to the theme but other than that it's a very good entry.
It's an interesting submission. The rules were a bit hard to figure out without looking at the spoilers, and I wasn't a huge fan of having to keep cycling through the colours at the top (maybe having all of them clickable at a time would be better). The actual gameplay is quite fun though once you've figured out the rules. The minimalistic design works well for this kind of game.
Overall this is a very good game. With that said, I think that the graphics could be a little clearer. I also think that the game could benefit from some music. The puzzle design is quite good and the complexity rises well through the game.
Would have liked for the in-game instructions to also reflect the keyboard inputs. I also think that the shift key is missing on the itch.io page. I liked the art style though, and the gameplay itself was quite enjoyable (even if the costs for some of the upgrades cost a bit much). Overall this was a really good game considering that it was made in only 48 hours. Well done.
Really well polished game. While the gameplay was repetitive it was enjoyable. I actually enjoyed the game a lot more than I though I would. Well done on this, it's a really good entry.
Nice puzzles with satisfying solutions. Well done on this game.
Enjoyed this game. The music and art fit well together and overall it seemed quite well polished, well done.
The game is really well polished. The art looks well and the music fits. With that said, I would have liked for the main menu buttons to contrast more with the background. It actually took me a minute or two to figure out how to start the game. The gameplay was simple if a bit lacking but for a Ludum Dare entry, that's kind of to be expected. Overall it's quite a good game, well done.
Interesting concept of harvesting electricity. The game can seem repetitive fairly quickly but given the 48 hour time limit, that's kind of unavoidable. Overall it's a decent game, well done.
This game is very well polished considering the short development time. The music and graphics almost make you forget that the game was developed in just 3 days. Well done on this.
Game idea is nice. As others have mentioned, this game's weak point is it's User Interface. The rest of the game is solid but I found myself enjoying it less than I would have because of the awkward to use UI. Considering the short development time, there's a LOT here, so well done on that. Overall it's a nice game. Good job.
