Can't see the sourcecode and the game no instructions on how to play the game
Looks unfinshed
@rohit-pai I'm just preparing the page the actual game is still being developed.... It still says work in progress
Have a great day
I dont know what to do x_x
@peanud - not really done yet ... just prep'ed the page
You could maybe put the (NOT DONE YET) at the beginning of the title for now.
Fun take on the TD genre. I like that it's several levels and different towers. Lots of good keyboard shortcuts is a bonus.
The fact that you included the "lose on purpose" button in a game about a jam makes me laugh :)
Very nice and fun little TD game. Very impressive how you were able to put so much content in it.
@thooom Thanks :smile: :thumbsup:
@motley Yeah seems like that's kind of a topic
@barelos Thank you very much
I will have a look at you entries as well
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Cool! Clever way of doing tower defense. I wish programming was this easy  coffee is magical, but not that magical  Anyways, was maybe a bit to simple. But enjoyed playing it.
Very good UI. Easy to use.
@dimling - thanks   - yeah it still lacks some content - and I'm not too familar with tower defence games and wasn't really planning on doing one  well that was my defence speech
I'll have a look at your entry as well
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Really great game. Loved the 'Game Jam' idea. My only issue is that I found it to be a bit too easy. Apart from that though good job for something done in 2 days.
@adamwatters thank you very much - I actually tweaked it down a little bit right at the end because it was too difficult - but it seems it might have been too much  Thank you very much for playing :thumbsup_tone1:
I'll go have a look at you entry as well
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
I enjoyed this take on tower defense because it's so relatable  . I love shooting debug code at bugs  Good job!
good game.It would be nice to have a tutorial
preetty nice:)
@tomas-selmeci Yeah - I was guessing that most could relate  @nineteeen - sorry - was actually on my todo list but ran out of time - so the first level is actually kind of the tutorial  you can buy all the towers you want and I don't think you can actually loose the first level. @mikydev Thank you very much
Thanks for playing all of you :sunny:
Thoughts whilst reading through the comments: A "lose on purpose" button?! I gotta press it!
I was not disappointed.
For not being too familiar with tower defense games, you did great. I know my own attempts at tower defense have been... less than stellar. It's been a while since I last tried though, so maybe it's time to try again.
I don't know that I ever used the buy back button, but that's probably a balance issue. If focus had been more scarce, I would have been forced to reallocate resources more during the game. Alternately, adding a build delay may have made me think ahead more since towers wouldn't be immediately available.
In any case, I enjoyed the game, even though the balance may have been slightly in my favor. Thanks for sharing it.
:spoiler:
@thepelranthean Thank you very much for the constructive criticism  The balancing was pushed towards the player within the last hour of development to hopefully ensure people got the full playthrough  wanted the last level to play where the bugs try to overrun the project  But yeah it was made a little too easy so I absolutely agree
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Nice game. I feel you should explain what each tower specializes at. Other than that and the little bit confusing interface you've done a great job.
Very nice. No issues with my playthrough, really enjoyed it. Good job. I liked that I had to manually unpause the game at the start as it gave me time to investigate the UI and figure things out before the mayhem started :) Thanks for the game.
It's been a long time since I last time played a tower defense, but I enjoyed it, and played through it. It wasn't too easy, but wasn't too hard either. Maybe there could have been some twist on the tower defense mechanics.
One thing I didn't like is the UI. It's a bit cluttered and overwhelming, and I had to stop for a few seconds to let everything sink into my brain.
Anyway, more fun to play than most of the entries, so good job!
Extremely engaging! I found myself replaying and replaying until I achieved true mastery
You have some solid mechanics and very well-chosen theme. I will go get that coffee to slow my own procrastination!
Absolutely loving the feedback
@mehigh I absolutely agree - and would have wanted to give a bit more info - was trying to get a tooltip up and running but after spending hour number 45 on it.... and decided to the hours 46, 47 and 48 for something more succesful  About he UI ... funny thing.. an earlier review actually praised it... just goes to show that preferences are hugely different for people... But taken into consideration :thumbsup_tone1:
@Ryano I actually took note of it myself when playing in the start (even if I already knew the interface .. it just a chance to collect myself... could even have considered pausing between levels  And you are absolutely welcome
@tudvari Thank you very much for your criticism - you actually agree with "Mr. MeHigh" on the interface  On the tower mechanic input... I thought of that after the jam.... I saw another entry where towers "failed" and had to be rebooted... and got a bit jealous
@fabula-rasa Thank you very much and thank you for playing - I actually did like the idea when it popped a couple of hours of the theme was introduced ... it wasn't on my brain storm from the final voting round. So it's a nice change of pace to actually like your own idea before starting the project  however there are still things that I would have liked to change
Once more.... thank you all for playing :pray_tone1: :bow_tone1:
@peanud @rohit-pai well now you actually have a chance at playing an actual entry.... so if you still feel up for it  :thumbsup_tone1:
Nice jokes with the towers and their utilities! Lovely game! Had fun clearing the 3 waves with success! :v: Thank you and well done
@goutye Thank you very much
Well done modular-like drums and the main rhythm is funky
@pixel-error Thank you  my wife actually said that it was a bit annoying
Thanks for the game !
A very nice idea!
@kimist42 @oliver-mb Thank you both of you
Like It, I didn't Plyaed tower Defense game so Much Time! Thank you!
@noamraz Thank you for playing - I haven't done much TD gaming either and NEVER tried to make one (except for this of course)
nice, different tower defense. I liked the idea behind
Nice game even tho the pacing is a bit slow! And sometimes the screen was a bit too short This tutorial is a really great idea
I was in the top 1000! That's my dream in Ludum Dare lol

Not a bad tower defense game, creatively meta with the theme. It was a little easy, but I understand difficulty curves are hard in a game jam. I always seem to bunk it up myself.
@despdair Than you very much - glad you enjoyed it
@baptiste-barreyre Thank you very much  and yes I could have actually tweaked the difficulty with speed and maybe even done a difficulty setting with it ....
@cheesepencil congratulations and mine too
@wheffle Thank you and I've commented on it before  but no doubt about it ... the difficulty should be changed or made into a setting ...
Again thank you all for playing and rating  :sunny:
Great TD game. TD games work well with the theme. As others have mentioned the difficulty curve is low, but that is often a challenge (I seem to always screw up mine). I love the cheats and the lose on purpose options. Adds a nice mix.
Solid tower defence game, would have liked some time to set up my towers before the level started but I geuss I like to procastinate.
@aplite @selftitled Thank you very much for playing and the feedback :thumbsup_tone1:
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Nice concept for a tower defense game. I think focus is plentiful, I just placed towers all over or maybe the monsters are just easy to kill, never had the enemies reach the brain.
Awesome fun. I really like the element of focus + quality since that keeps the game engaging. I got place 295, although I think that is way better than my entry will actually be placed if I manage to get enough ratings...
I think the first level could have been a bit simpler and just explain that this is a tower defense game and what each part of the game did or atleast having some tooltips. It was a lot to take in when all the UI was shown at once without really having an explanation on what they did. I managed to figure out all of these things eventually but that took a lot of my focus in the beginning *pun intended*
@marbles thanks for playing :thumbsup_tone1:
@linus again thanks for playing and for the input  sorry for taking your focus  Did actually want to make tooltips - but after spending an hour not getting it done right.... I skipped and hoped for the best
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Hey @purpledartfrog, love your entry! By the way, the name "Coffenator" for one of the towers is just fantastic. One small thing I would've liked to have seen is for the game to pause between levels instead of starting by default. Otherwise, I really enjoy this. Great job.
@jared-york thanks Jared - means a lot to me  And I absolutely agree with the pause thing - this and the difficulty is also a bit ... well .... too easy
