One of the better text adventures and you've clearly put the effort in.

Always love a classic text adventure game! I appreciate how much time and detail you put into the writing. The combat was a little bit confusing - I wish I knew more specifically how critical attacks worked since they seem important. Great job overall!

Well done. I have spent many an hour in the world of text adventures and it's nice to revisit once in a while. I do kind of miss the bad parsers though. Clicking through my options just doesn't have quite the same sense of accomplishment. Great work though! Thanks for making this!

Nice to see another Twine game. You've clearly put a lot of effort into this. I'll always have a soft wpot for text adventures but great job on this.

A well done text adventure, could have benefited from some sound and visuals.

O wow that is a lot of writing and effort. Nicely done. Same as above i do miss some sound effects.

Your writing is nice. I also liked the combat system! Good job :)

This warms my heart as a D&D player. You put so much passion into this! The writing style is authentic and I love the combat system -- I've never seen that in a Twine game before! I do wish there was sound and visuals but that can easily be added later. Wonderful work! The text speaks for itself!

How the heck did you write all this in the time allotted?! I thought my game had a foolish amount of dialog in it, but then I found this gem. Very impressed. I'm a sucker for text adventures and I love how swiftly you ramp into the worldbuilding. I also really love the combat system. As others have said, even a little sonic ambience in the background would've gone a long way, but it's hard to complain. Great stuff!

I did a Twine for my last LD and I'm just so impressed at how much you managed to write in so little time! How did you manage it? The fights were interesting, though I don't know if I really cared for them (but kudos at doing a fighting system in Twine in a small amount of time!). I did really enjoy the science fantasy style of story, slipping in words occasionally that signaled that this was about a future Earth rather than a fantasy D&D thing. I think there might be many references I'm not getting, but I get a feeling that ancient stories about D&D have become historical ideas in this world? It's a nice touch. The society felt like it really had some substance to it. Good job!

Its super impressive how you wrote so much over one weekend. My only real complaint is that the resolution was too large to fit on my screen, which made it pretty awkward to play. I wish you had enabled rating in mood.

The art is very cool!.

Hello, first experience with story telling game, but a very good one. Was getting killed by the elite phalanx twice, but enjoyed it a lot :) The riddles were a nice touch, but sadly we used the same one in our game, haha This game could be on another level if you could include some art or pencil sketches of your imaginary world, oh wow :D

Nice worldbuilding, and the inclusion of a combat system was a nice surprise. Game writing takes aggggeeess, so (as the other comments have mentioned) it's genuinely impressive that you managed to do so much in such a short time frame. Always good to see a text entry for these Jams. Well done.

Really nice one, although I got stuck on the first riddle (I kept thinking it must be "story") for a while :) And I really like the world you've managed to build.
