The downloadable version had me start with 0 coin, so I couldn't hire anyone to start the game. Visuals look really good!

Wow! I just absolutely love this. I could go on about the flaws but I think they are pretty obvious and largely due to lack of time it seems. The aesthetic is awesome. I wish more games had this style. The color, the 2.5D perspective, even the movement felt nice. I am not the biggest fan of dungeon crawling but I could get into this if it was fleshed out a little bit more. One flaw I will point out is that if the camera is moving before a textbox appears the camera will continue moving. A part from that, I think you know what needs to be included and I would say - don't give up on this one. Great job!

Very unique graphical style, so well done there. It's pretty obvious a lot of heart went into this game, but due to time constraints many bugs slipped into the gameplay. Some of the pathing was frustrating, especially when it came to trying to get my second henchman to fight an enemy that was down a narrow hallway. Still, great job though, especially for a compo entry.

Love the artstyle

really solid dungeon crawler, i like getting new adventurers but it seems a little underdeveloped getting them just random new characters, i also wouldn't know whether i got a key or not, but this could really be something with random generation.

The color scheme and pixel art are wonderful executed

Interesting! I really love the colour pallete you went for and the idea was very interesting. Felt very D&D! Would love to see this expanded on. Good job!!!!

I really liked that the events were not hardcoded but would change on different playthroughs. Nice work!

zabaman 2020-04-20 20:18

Awesome game! Has loads of potential, style is really lovely! The combat would be cool if it showed dice rolls or something visible, that'd be sweet for this type of game

Wow, this game looks amazing! feels very polished too. Amazing for 48 hours.

Very nice arts, good but hard gameplay, despite my attempts I did make it to the boss :o

I like the art style of the level. It gives the feeling of a old cga game :)

Nice take on the theme, with "it" referring to your _party_ instead of just one person / thing! :) Cool visuals too, those got me to click on the game in the first place.

Like @paul-merkamp I noticed that you seem to start out with no coins, but that doesn't seem to prevent you from hiring adventurers - there might just be a bug that makes the text field not show the actual coins value initially.

Something that wasn't immediately clear to me is how you can keep a party member alive, but turns out you can "return to the surface" via the first door. It seems like this heals wounded party members as well.

A few nitpicks: - The camera movement was too slow for my taste (both WASD and mouse wheel). - Some basic sound effects would have been nice. - Since you're meant to take many trips before you can finish the game, having to click through the same dialogue over and over can get a bit tiring, but maybe there's a shortcut to skip I haven't found.

Love it! I like the art style, mechanics, story. Cool! I want more =p

Awesome job! I found it really engaging to play, especially all the ways the stats are used, though the problems from lack of time are pretty visible. The art style is sweet, the 2.5D and limiting palette really make this game stand out! Won on first attempt from sheer luck, it seems :)

the dungeon is magnificent, I love this flashy color and the view style is very original

"Reptilian creatures stand before you and speak in a gutural language" Doom Rip and Tear intensifies XD

Realy neat little game. I like the color choice and that the PCs are little tofu cubes^^. I kind of brute forced my way to the end of the stage. I had three party members of which one reached the final door. I ran past every mob I encountered. Said hi to the Lich and just left without a fight.

tricky-fat-cat 2020-04-24 12:54

I love visuals, but obviously, the lack of sounds make the game not so pleasant as it could have been.

terry 2020-05-03 01:29

Got to the end! I want more of this!
