Super creative use of them, I love how meta it is. I'm on mac so I can't give it a spin myself, but I'm glad you included a gameplay video. Looks really awesome. Good work!

Last version uploaded at the last second ! Enjoy :D
This game is very well polished considering the short development time. The music and graphics almost make you forget that the game was developed in just 3 days. Well done on this.
I had a lot of fun playing this! Amazing work!
This game learn me how to draw vertical line with my mouse on my right hand (i'm left handed). Thank you :D Nice game, very creative. It lacks a reward or kind of progression when we finish our first painting to make you want to continue I think, but for a game jam it's not really important, finish the first painting is enough ;)
Nice little game, I think getting back the hybrid blocks when you destroy them would improve the experience, If you count the pixels wrong or do too many errors whit the mouse you have to repeat the harvesting part again from the start which is a bit frustrating since is always the same and takes a while... Anyway nice concept!
Thanks for all your feedbacks. I'm very happy that you like this game. I would have liked to make some improvements, but it's part of the Game Jam effect !
Pretty cool game! sorry I feel like I can't give a proper review though since I'm pretty colorblind and was not able to make it very far, but I really like the concept and execution of the idea. Will give ratings in categories I can judge :)
Funny this system of bombs ! Really juicy visual for that Also rlly chill game
Update 11/01/2023 : Implement a WebGL version to play from Ludum Dare website
Cool vibe. A little difficult to understand at first but becomes satisfying to play with the tactile feedback and great use of sfx. Overall a really well polished entry and I think it's pretty innovative. I've never played something like this before.
Nice game! The graphics and sound effects were really good, and it fit the theme in a unique way. I would say getting the different colors got a bit repetitive after a while. If there was a way to passively get colors or you got more colors from each block I feel the game would be better? Apart from that I enjoyed your game :)
Nice little game! I think I encountered a bug though. I had painted everything, including the background, and made sure everything was filled. but, the percentage was still stuck at 99! I had to quit after that but MAN this game is fun. It made me sit down for at least 30 minutes. The music is just amazing and the SFX is also great. All in all a very well put together game! :D
Thanks for your feedback ! Do you remember the pixel art model you got stuck at 99% ?
Wow, I really loved this concept, it's really original and makes the pixel artist in me very happy. It was pretty easy at first but as I got closer to completion there was less and less space to plant and harvest the colors I needed (I miscounted lol) and that made it a different type of strategy!
frog.png Looked cool while harvesting too
Only tiny nitpick was that the tertiary colors were kinda hard to see on the mini preview image (sky blue vs true blue, light green vs true green) and that some of the info is cut off on the left side of my screen (mac browser fullscreen).
Unfortunately it didn't work in the browser for me. Can you upload it to itch.io to play in the browser there? I've seen other games which experience the loading screen freeze bug you have on ldjam.com but work on itch.io.
Nice game, but have a victory animation will be better!
Yes, it was planned but I didn't have time to implement it :/
@sean-esopenko : ok. I put on itch.io tonight (french time) !
Nice work ! The gameplay is both unique and fun, accompanied by cool music & sound effects as welle as nice UI and visual effects.
Fun concept. But the growing proccess feels tedious. The best strategy is to draw lines of different colors and destroy them to harvest more colors until you have enough for picture (with more on top for mistakes). I would rather split growing and painting parts apart, e.g. you grow them in a more factory-style by planting two colors together which gives you third color over time, and painting on separate canvas with continuosly growing colors. Also I missed that empty cells are not white and I need to paint background with actual white  Nontheless, you did a great job and it's a uniqe touch on a theme!
I really liked the aesthetics and art of this game!
@sean-esopenko : you have now an itch.io link for play !
@rosypenguin : i have reuploaded the web browser version to fix the "crop" screen issue
I do not have the patience for this, haha. But I like the idea and as said by the others, it is a nice interpretation on the theme!
This game is well polished and I really like the take on the theme. I'm not sure if I ran into a bug or if I just can't see the pixel i'm missing  paint game.png great job overall though!
@jazzathefoss : You're absolutely right. I just found a transparent pixel on this model that actually causes this bug. Really sorry, in this case, you will not be able to finish this model.

An interesting interpretation. I fear it just isn't challenging enough from a problem solving-perspective to really be super fun. Extremely well executed though.
The polish is incredibly high, good sound and visuals. It doesn't quite play like a rubik's cube because you have to accumulate all of the required pixels before painting the image because as space disappears you need to mix your last few pixels. It's a creative game, pretty interesting.
FYI: The web player works on Microsoft Edge and Chrome on Windows but it's not working in Firefox for me, it's stuck on the loading screen on firefox.
@sean-esopenko : I'll try to find out why it doesn't work on Firefox and fix it if I find a solution. Thank you for your feedback !
@antoniothereis : The game isn't really meant to be challenging, but I understand your opinion :) Thanks
Great idea but I found it tiring to have to pick color by color to put on the canvas and then harvest them. It could have shortcut keys to improve agility for this. The idea is fantastic! Congratulations!
@reikan if you find a solution to Firefox not working you can help others by sharing your solution in a blog post on the site :). It's a common problem I'm seeing with Unity games.
That's some clever gameplay you have come up with! It's a really original idea and the execution is really well done. Kudos!
@sean-esopenko : I have found a solution to play Unity WebGL on Firefox, I wrote a post that you can find here : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/52/pixel-artvester/$322183
Thanks for your feedbacks !
Really interesting game! I really like the combination of a 'match the art' game with resource management- it adds an extra level of depth to the experience that makes it much more involved. I think a game of this style would benefit a lot more from a more relaxed and low energy aesthetic- I can see it being a great game to play and unwind. Fantastic work!
Thank you so much @moosey !
Concept is really well. But it is hard to catch. I got the idea only after watching the video. Really fresh idea and nice implementation. You should really put some effort to make full fledged game.
Great game! The music is very nice too! The bomb sound was a bit too loud though.
The music is nice. The concept is nice too. I think frustrating the fact of it doesn't have an ending. I didn't find the pixel missing...Sans titre.png
@butterflan : oh no... you have find a bug on this model. We have forget to colorize a pixel (alpha transparency issue)

Sorry for that :/
It will be fix in the next version
I was a bit confused at first by the idea of using Bombs to mix colors. Mixing itself can feel kind of grindy as sometimes you need to do it a lot to get enough of a certain color (ie black). It would be cool if the mixing and painting mechanisms were somehow more interconnected, but it is quite interesting nonetheless. And the music is also nice!
Really slick presentation of a clever idea. The bomb explosion sound made me jump out of my seat the first time I heard it though  Nice game!
Very interesting concept. Didn't have the patience to play through it, but from what i played it was very interesting and definitely has potential. Also the SFX jump scared me the first time
Super interesting concept, but unless I'm missing something, there's a ton of grinding involved to get all the colors you need ? Like counting all black pixels you'll need, then all orange, etc... Regardless, game is super pretty and clever !
Very fun game, I really liked the concept, the graphics are very beautiful and the music and sound effects matched the game, although I was a little scared with the SFX at the beginning of the game. Good work!
