I think it might benefit to have not a fully randomized playfield. I sometimes was sent in a situation where I took an apple and the enemy was blocking my pad. Taking a fruit might not always save me in this case. Since I did not figure out the way the enemies were moving, this became a bit frustrated. Maybe I just have to think a bit more :p

Hey, It was a fun game! I like the simplicity and how you constructed those castles. When a human is just flying away by my fireball, it just looks fun. Personally, I do not care that there is no fall damage.

Sometimes, when I flew very low, I could see there was nothing underneath and it became the background again as if there is no ground. Adding like a different background color there to make sure the ground never ends, makes it feel a little bit more complete. I know it is a bit of a detail, but it may make it better.

A thing that might give Belgian and French people (or any country that wanted to be special and uses azerty keyboards) easier controls, is adding Z for up/forward and Q for left if you are not using those keys for anything else. Sometimes it is easily done and it makes it compatible with both AZERTY and QWERTY :)

I like the concept, but I think it needs a little bit more randomness like xlores suggests. I also found out pretty quickly I could just walk the dog and sell, to keep everything ok. Since reputation always goes up, it make some actions (like scam) not really usefull I think. But I believe, with enough experimentation, you may find the sweet spot :)

Hey, you made a nice little game here. I think you did really wel for a jam game. The graphics are consistent. So well done.

I think being able to rotate the crops you get as Anoushcat suggest is a very good idea. I even believe you can borrow another mechanic of tetris. At the moment, it is quite difficult to plan ahead in your game. I just get random crops and I have to be lucky that I get them in the right order. To make it a little bit more predictible, I think showing the comming crops might really help. This will make me able to plan ahead and choose more strategically here I want to place my current crop. Like in tetris, i can see the next 4 comming blocks.

nicely done! I don't know why, but I just couldn't figure out the seventh level. I always seemed to miss a little bit of money. In other words, it was a good puzzle! I love the way how the level spawns in. Really wished I was able to do something similar in my game.

At the start, I did not see the whole screen because it did not seem to fit the browser or my small screen. It took me a little bit of time to understand what I should be doing. I might have benefited of less enemies at the start. I had the feeling they became a lot quite quickly.

I agree with artman that the money skyrocked quite easily, but I think that is understandable for the amount of stuff I can buy. I think if the game would be exapnded, the money will be less skyrocketing, since you can buy better, more expensive towers. It was a fun game to play.

Nice first jam game! If I would be asked to change one thing, I would make it possible to abduct people while also moving. Now I had the stand still, which made me quite vulnerable. It might give me more control.

Ah a game where I cannot die. That are my kind of games :) It is so satisfying to purposely with accident have like the most epic boomerang throw and get multiple harvests. It was really nice to play and like the others said, the graphics are just very nice.

@lisyraus, you did it right. I was considering a pop-up for when you reached to goal. But to make players not get stuck on a level, I decided to just add a button at the bottom of the screen to go to the next level, even if you did not reach the goal. In browser this button became quite... small...

I agree with the feedback of Zbugba. I would not rotate the player around it axis, but just flip the sprite. I would also try to make sure that a player can never reach the end of the map. Try to block it with a collider to make sure he cannot get of the map.

Oooh, I did not have any sounds :( But I liked it. I might just like games that look like bullethells and where I cannot die :D Most people won't like that I guess. Oh and I was playing in browser and for some reason, I cannot click righ there. An alternative might be interesting to add.
