I love the idea of reaping souls, but upon trying the game, there's no change in weapon trajectory even though it said there will be an upgrade after 1000 souls. Looking forward to further updates! Good Job!

@joe-eric Thanks for checking out the game. More powerful weapons unlock at 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 souls collected. You need to press Left Shift to change the weapon. Cheers!

Souls collecting animation is really satisfying and controlling the character felt fluid. First I was dodging the humans there but soon realized that they don't do anything. Adding some kind of threat or would keep the gameplay more interesting. Now there doesnt seem to be any goal why to harvest all those souls apart from getting the better weapons. I would also suggest removing the dying sound as it becomes very dull after hearing it 100000 times. Anyways I enjoyed checking it out :)

Cool game! The characters and animation looked very nice, although the enemy dying sound get repitive pretty quick. I really enjoyed the different weapons, but it would be cool if there were more because of how quickly you unlock them. I did try to get the population down to zero, but after a couple thousand it got pretty boring just holding the button and walking around. Maybe adding some way for the player to die could help spice it up a bit?

But overall a really good effort!

This was fun! Originally I didn't see the controls listed on the page (in the pictures), so I was confused at the start, until I saw them in-game. A pause screen listing the controls would be helpful in the future! Mowing down enemies was fun, and I looked forward to seeing what the new weapons were. I thought I was doing really well at staying alive, until I let them swarm me and I didn't die. I would suggest having some form of death, and also maybe ammo or an energy meter to keep you switching between your weapons. Because currently, once you unlock a new one, there is no reason to go back to the others. Overall, cool game! I enjoyed it

Oooh, I did not have any sounds :( But I liked it. I might just like games that look like bullethells and where I cannot die :D Most people won't like that I guess. Oh and I was playing in browser and for some reason, I cannot click righ there. An alternative might be interesting to add.

I was disturbed by the fact that I was enjoying "harvesting" people's souls. The sound definitely played a big part :joy: It was very addictive to play, which is great for these kind of short games. It was very satisfying once I unlocked the last weapon.

If you later add shop system, I think become an even fuller(?) game. Nice job!

I’m working on an updated version that I’m going to put as a separate game on itch.io. Follow me to stay tuned!

The game seemed to be simple, but nevertheless the gameplay was very fun :D

Hey, good work. The game was very responsive considering the number of things on the screen. I think you should add some more elements (enemies that can hit you) to make it more challenging. I bet that you was ran out of time for adding more elements.

Using firefox on linux the sounds of the souls were clipped (I also tested chrome and there it was working as intended). I agree with others that after some time it gets a bit annoying.

A good overall game and a very relaxing "farming" game
