Loved the beginning. Well made TD game, wish you showed tower range thought, I misplaced many towers not knowing how long of a range they were.
Generally good concept, plays well and is fun. The ui was a little cluttered though, and it took me a while to figure out how to play
Love the concept! Fits with the theme in an interesting way, and was very fun to play
At first I was fairly confused at what to do, but after reading the instructions again, I couldn't put the game down until I had won. Well done!
Love the addition of being able to run around for a short time after death
Love the style, fun game. Wish there was more than just three levels
Wonderful job! I loved the concept you played with, a platformer where you can either see you or the obstacles at one time, not both.
This is absolutely amazing
Cool concept, but it was hard for me to visualize what was going on and what I was supposed to do before looking closer at the provided image and re-reading the instructions multiple times
Amazing concept, very well executed. I did get caught on corners a couple times but other than that it was an amazing play.
I liked the randomly generated levels. Kept me playing for a few more rounds than I planned
Haha, very creative use of the theme. Well done!
Fun to play, well done. At first, I did get lost however, as there is no way to tell if I was moving or not without enemies moving on screen as feedback. Maybe in the future add some sort of motion in the background so players can orient themselves better.
I didnt really get what the goal was at first, thinking I had to just run into the targeted color, but once I got a hang of the gameplay, I loved it!
This is amazing. I will surely use this to calm myself down in the future.
This concept is simultaneously the most wacky thing I've ever seen and the greatest thing I've ever seen. Nice job, and well executed. It is a tad difficult for my tastes but hey.
Love the aesthetic, but it was way too challenging for me. As other people have said maybe upping the hinge friction or maybe the time to react to a ball falling could have made the experience a lot better
To be completely honest, I did not expect to have this much fun with a plant simulator. But would you look at that, I accidentally spend around ten minutes helping your plant grow. Wonderful job sir!
Love the mechanics and the art style. Well done! Also, even with such a short loop of music it somehow didn't get annoying to listen to during the entire playthrough.
Wish you could hold the buttons, as I found mashing them not only the only way to get it to work, but also caused Biden to get torn to shreds
Nice job for only a "few hours" entry! Love the stamina mechanic. Really makes you think in a game type where most people just play by reactions
Funny concept, I love it. Wish you had kept rating for humor open, solid 5 star right there.
Nice job. Definitely was fun for the few runs I played of it. Could have used perhaps just a little controls panel somewhere because I personally thought it was a mouse game, as many other games of this type are, so it took me a solid minute or two to figure out what I was doing wrong. Perhaps I am just slow? Perhaps.
Well done! Fun game and definitely kept my interest. My only gripes are just some physics polish things and maybe a little bit of gameplay ambiguity but otherwise I love it!
Nice job! Love the art style, giving me some serious Nethack and Dwarf Fortress vibes.
This is possibly my favorite game of this jam. I love the battery management mechanic and I would LOVE to see you push this on to a full game release. WELL JOB!
Thanks for the feedback! I added a second spike to the left-hand side as well to make it a bit more balanced. I had accidentally deleted some files halfway through production that made me unable to make big level design changes, so it's a bit rough.
Noted! If I continue on with this project I'll definitely keep that in mind. Due to this quarantime that we're in it was near impossible to play test with someone on my end, so I had to just kinda guess if it was balanced or not.
Well done on the style and the music. I love the feel of the game! One note, the menus and the ui buttons were a bit finicky to work with, and I really struggled closing out the shop
That is a full 5 stars across the board from me. What a masterpiece
Well done! Personally wished the difficulty was a bit more lenient. I found the game fine but I can easily see someone not as proficient in platforms struggling a lot with the difficulty.
Well done! Love the sprite work and the idea of saving the baby turtles. One note is that I noticed if you hold a horizontal direction and then tap a vertical direction, that vertical direction gets held down. Other than that one bug I loved it!
Solid game idea here. Wish that there was some way to know going into certain sections where and where I wouldn't die but otherwise wonderful idea.
What a TREEat. In all seriousness, wonderfully done. Serene and calming. Definitely stands out against the rest of the high octane games I've played for this jam
Love the theme and innovation here. Pretty fun play. One note is that on the HTML5 version, the UI is way outside of the bounding box and almost impossible to play
Not too shabby for a first Ludum Dare game! Welcome to the community! I personally loved the little bit of feedback with the slow turn and recoil of the gun; really made it feel weighty.
Nice job on this one! Great art and style, unfortunately I couldn't understand how trading works and I couldn't get it to work out
Nice job on your first game! I love the art and the music. Well done!
This is one of the best looking games I've seen for the jam. WONDERFUL JOB!
Well done, one note is that I found it hard to click on both the enemies and the dog with a mouse, maybe if the hitboxes were a bit more lenient it would be a tad more accessible
Topical.
Nice job! Quite fun and the music is an absolute bop.
For a solid couple minutes I did not realize that you could redirect the yellow shapes. After figuring that out, the game felt pretty fun to play. Nice job
This is possibly one of the greatest games I've played this jam. At first I looked and thought "what the heck is this". After picking up the water pitcher and watching it flail about and spill I knew this was perfect. Nice job on this one!
One bug I found was that if you spammed the clock, the game would practically freeze.
