The mechanism is really funny, and the idea with oxygen as a timer is nice. Good entry!
Honestly, golf fishing is the best Idea anyone has ever had!
Its a fun game to play. The best moment was when the already suffocated fish slipped into the hole while the game-over-screen was already showing, the game even counted it as a win.
@bakob nothing like winning on a technicality! I mean....you got it in the pipe right?
This was fun to play! And when i realized it is a golf I had to laugh for the first time today. Would be cool if the oxygen would run out quickly on sand and so on. :)
@snory thanks for the feedback. Yeah i wanted to add that, technically the sand slows you down, so it kinda has that effect. But yano...time.
I think this game would've been better as pure 2D given this art set - this camera was a bit nauseating. My fish was going over the "walls" if I hit it strongly, so it took me a bit to understand what's an obstacle.
Once you get used to it, the idea of playing fish golf is quite funny :) The last course was pretty challenging
Like @gajop said, I also had trouble initially deciphering the boundaries of the game. I was trying to jump over them. The patrolling seagulls make this more than a simple golf game. Where does the game take place? Finland, I presume.
Yeah @gajop I was planning to make some more 3D assets like trees etc, the walls 3D too... which would have made it easier to figure out like @itsarjunsinh said :)
This was really well done. It took me a minute to figure out how to play it, but once I got it, it was really fun. I'm a fan of the commentator and the dead fish jokes.
As a silly golf game connoisseur myself, this is definitely a wonderful entry. One comment I have is that the whale talking went a bit too slow so I ended up just playing over the whale talk an thus causing a few bugs
@cooperjknapp thanks for the comments! Yes I did notice that as a bug, but a bit too late. I'm not sure about the bug fix policy so I'm just leaving it as is for now :)
I like it, maybe check the floatiness of the controls, but I like that there was a visible way to see the direction and strengh.
Like the idea and the game is fun. At the beginning I also had problems figuring out what are the obstacles and tried to jump over the walls. Also, i feel like it required a bit too exact landing on the "hole" to count, and it should count when you go over it with some speed (like in reality it would drop there, even with some speed).
Hey there! I liked how you incorporated golfing into a survival type experience. I did think the music was too loud, and maybe you should think about letting the player control the volume or possibly turning it down some. I think the graphics worked well, but the flat kind of look felt a little like I was looking at a picture as opposed to being in a world. Don't get me wrong, it was still well done, and espically in the time that we had. The fish flopping around was a good idea, but seeing it go into the ground felt a little off, but it was funny. I do think it would beneficial to either have the oxygen drain slower, or have little pools of water for the player to go into throughout the course, so they can stop and get a little more oxygen. Well it was fun to play! Good Work!

Ok, that was hilarious :D I would have loved the goldfish to be more bouncy ? Maybe ? Always shooting in straight lines and not being punished for overshooting felt like a missed opportunity :P Also, going into the hole was veeeeerrry hard. Great work ! :D
Great game idea! Loved the floppy nature of the fish, but I think it could use some tweaking on when/where you can click to try another shot. Also would love to be able to look ahead on the course to see where to go. The minimap did help, but it doesn't always show enough. Had a lot of fun playing this game though, and I hope you keep working on it.
