Fun puzzle game!
Interesting concept, but I found that some of the buttons just wouldn't work. I tried to solve 0 = 1 by adding a leading and removing the trailing, but it wouldn't respond.
Fantastic game. Super innovative puzzle styles, and the graphics are really nice. You really create a great mood too with the background music.
This was a lot of fun. Definitely A game I'd play if it was a normal release. All the controls were fluid and I figured out what to do immediately.
Very cool concept, but it was a little bit slow. Overall though, super fun. Bitlife was always one of my favorite quick games so this was a very cool nostalgia trip.
Very cool game, and I love how you were able to incorporate multiplayer in such little time.
Interesting game with really excellent graphics and sound. The style truly is incredible. The gameplay, however, was kind of boring. I kept expecting the difficulty to ramp up a bit, but It just stayed extremely easy. Maybe a little more difficulty would've spiced things up a bit. Overall though, one of the better games I've played so far.
What a fantastic project, your game was one of the more fun ones I've played so far. The graphics are a little weak, but that's expected coming from a compo game. Great work!
Very cool concept, definitely hits the theme close to home. I feel like the controls were a little floaty, and sometimes when I would jump it wouldn't respond, which got very frustrating when that forced me to restart.
Its a very cool concept, but I can't get past the guards. I really wish I could see more of this resurect control mechanic. It's like an rts where you're there with your trools.
Really great game, you managed to pack a story into it which really added to the atmosphere. The art style was interesting, the movement was fluid, and the dashing was fun. All and all, really great project.
WOW! Really cool stuff. Everything looked and sounded amazing! But I didn't really know what I was doing or why.
What a fun Idea, and the voice overs were really funny.
Very nice atmosphere! Gameplay was also very intuitive, but I feel like some of the hit detection could be improved. Also maybe more variety with enemies.
Great first project for a jam! I really loved your movement controls. They were very responsive and fluid, exactly what I would expect. Your jumping, however, was fairly hit or miss and the hit registration was kind of off. Some notes for future projects would be to make it more obvious when the player or an enemy has been hit, maybe like a little red flash. You also might want to increase the fov on the camera a bit, and the most important thing in game design is to test everything constantly.
Very impressive puzzle game! I could easily find myself playing this for hours on end. The mechanics were solid, the tutorial was EXTREMELY thorough and well put together, and everything else was just perfect. I can't believe you put this together in two days!
What a fun mechanic! This is one of the best games I've seen simply because of how well it sticks to the theme. I feel some aspects of the gameplay could be improved, the ball for me is simply too floaty, but the text box mechanic to take away and add aspects of the game is so cool.
I can't open the file ;(
This was really weird. The game itself was extremely simple and easy to pick up, but something about the game and the art just felt so off. It looked like it was almost weirdly sexual, like those messed up gore cartoons people spam in discord. It really creeped me out.
AMAZING GAME! The atmosphere the sounds the mystery the story. EVERYTHING! Best game I've played in this jam so far.
The game is BRUTAL. So hard to survive more than 2-3 waves. Other than that though, what a great project with a good message too. Very interesting take on the tower defense genre.
I really liked the story telling and art style. It really just helped the mood come together.
Fun Idea! Never saw anything like this before. I'm a huge fan of the starting dialogue also.
As I started this game I thought from the graphics it would be trash. Don't judge a book by its cover though. The gameplay was really fun, the weapons were diverse and funny. I just think it could've followed the theme a bit more.
@asfdfdfd @solah @shubart @firebender Thanks so much for the feedback. Sorry about the controls, I tried to hint at them through the narration, and I was going to have a hint pop up if the player didn't figure it out within a certain amount of time but I only had about 20 hours in total to make this game so I didn't quite get to it.
I feel like the fact that you had to include instructions kinda ruined the game for me. I love figuring out stuff for myself, but I just didn't know what the goal was when I was put into the game.
The game is a very cool concept. The monster noises actually made me jump a bit lol. I would mainly say that the pacing was slow, and the movement of the weapons just wasn't flush
Congrats on the first game! Starting with a game jam is such a great way to gain some experience and feedback from the community. The art style is cool, but everything was super low res in the html5 build. You can increase the resolution in the game in the player settings. You also might want to watch some UI tutorials and hit detection tutorials to improve your systems. Overall though, great job!
The Game definitely needs a little more interactivity. The command prompt section was so boring for me I had to stop.
It was really fun! But It was way too difficult. the movement and gunplay was extremely solid, but I felt that the knife should've had a bit more range or the enemy bullets should have been slower. Great job overall!
Super fun game! I feel like the difficulty could be balanced a little more to give passive regen earlier on, and the level design could use some polish. The movement was fluid and the gameplay was fun and rewarding. One of the best I've played so far.
TO be honest I have a hard time understanding what's happening. I really like the planet system and thought that was intuitive, but the gameplay was just tough to understando
Music was def a bit repetetive
Great take on the theme! I did notice though that there were little graphical flickers on the obstacles every now and then. I believe this happens in unity when two sprites are very close together, but don't actually touch. I also really wish there was some audio in the game.
It was a really fun concept, but I think the game was a little bit of a grind.
Very interesting game, there could definitely be more content to keep it from being so linear, but it's a game jam so that's all understandable. I had a load of fun going through everything, but after a few minutes everything seemed to stale out and get a bit too repetitive.
