This is an interesting puzzle game, though I think it is a little long. I like the graphics and visual effects a lot, they are really pretty. The game has some background noise so it does not feel quite, but I cannot say that is something nice, just some noise. Overall I liked the mechanic of joining start - never seen this before
Love how many modifications are thrown into the mix, and there's great satisfaction in seeing the construction of the constellation.
At first I had a quite hard time figuring out the controls... but wow this is a very interesting little puzzle game. Really like it!

This was an addicting experience. Very unique puzzle game. I really liked the ominous drone background music. As a suggestions, some hints may help make the game more accessible. Love the graphics and it was very satisfying to win levels in this game.
Wow, I enjoyed this a lot! Really unique and the puzzles are interesting to think about.

Actually,I cannot fully understand the core mechaninc of this game, but it seems interesting.
The concept of this game is very solid, and the gameplay is quite fun. However, the game's greatest weakness is its control, in that both radial and tangential movement of the mouse about the pivot point of an arm of the constellation appears to cause perplexing rotation of the arm. I would recommend having the arm rotate about the pivot point to face the mouse's location. In addition, if pursuing further development, you may want to consider replacing the current ambiance music with a more instrumental piece, though that is personal preference. Other than those two things, very nice work.

Wow, just spent like an hour playing this. Super addictive. One thing is the sound is just a constant humm, so it would probably benefit from some music.

@goldenglade Sorry the controls were confusing - basically everything (including all three types of controls) is controlled by left-right movement of the mouse, which is simple but not always intuitive. Your ideas are better, but I was already lost in a sea of trig to get this to work and didn't have enough time to refine the controls. The sounds and music are the result of a panicked 22 minutes about an hour before submit time, so I'd have liked to have done more there too. Thanks for the feedback.

Fantastic game. Super innovative puzzle styles, and the graphics are really nice. You really create a great mood too with the background music.

as a person who hates puzzle games, I played 18 levels of this before I got bored, which is more than most full puzzle games have been able to, great game.
It's arguably less about graphics and more about level design, but I love how the constellations look! Nice game!

The idea is interesting, but I found gameplay to be more a guessing game than a logical deduction most of the time. I think I had the most fun with levels that required swapping pieces.
Solving a level is very satisfying visually, and I like the sounds/ambience used.
My biggest gripe were the controls. Would have definitely liked keyboard shortcuts (numbers) for selecting blocks, and hiding the mouse away in a way that it accepts input when "off screen".
Really smart, interesting concept and I love the graphics / shader. The geometric feel was really "in place" in space :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, this game is really unique. I have no idea how you programmed most of these mechanics, it's genius. Also it's a wonderful puzzle idea. Love it.

This game took me a minute to figure out, but once I did I started really enjoying it! I've never been a puzzle person but this is strangely engaging.

Thanks for the feedback, @bip, @zerptin, @toasteater, @hajden, @gaz-ireland, @hermitao, and @oxrock. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Keyboard controls as an option might be helpful/more obvious - thanks for the suggestion @hajden.
Fun puzzle game that was simple but still great. It was satisfying to solve each level.

Beautiful implementation of your concept. I too think I hints might help but for a 48 hour jam I think you did a great job making something unique, interesting, and fun.

Cool and clever, also visually great

I felt like most of the time I had to resort to a sort of guess'n'check strategy; I knew the length of the next move and there are only so many options, so any clever thinking is going to get beat out by trying the 3-4 choices for each move. Visual and audio experience is decent.
Oh, and there's an issue where you don't have enough horizontal space on the screen to rotate fully in both directions; this is particularly annoying for the loop control as you can't simply reverse in the other direction without changing your input.
Wow, amazing game! Really original. Seeing the constellations form is very satisfying. I completed the game. I was confused at first, some instructions would have helped. Firstly, how rotation is done (mouse left/right). Secondly, that a box becoming green indicates that the line is pointing to the right star. There is a problem with the rotation control where the mouse goes off the playing window and you can't stop the rotation.
Another thought, this could be made into a fractal generator game if you add a copy operation. Like, there could be two rotations and scales, one for each copy.

Really cool pussle game, got me interested right away and controls felt decently intuitive I thought. One issue was that you had to readjust the drag with the mouse alot but not a huge issue. Biggest downside I felt was that the later levels where more of a "try all the combinations that fits" instead of any thinking or figuring out anything. Also some levels semms to be a bit finicky on the angle and the visuals did not seem to align to the "stars?" perfectly so that just made it more difficult in an kindof annoying way. But thats kinda minor and expected in LDjams anyway this had me playing for more time than most games.

I did finish it and was a pleasant experience, good job!

Thanks @khorm. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I didn’t have time for much polishing of the gameplay - I’d have liked to address the issues you mention, but I ran out of time.

I like what you did with the theme, and the puzzles were cool, if complicated. I'm really glad the icons light up green when you have the pieces line up right, I got stuck a lot and once I figured that out it was less of a puzzle and more of me just trying every combination. Don't get me wrong, I would've tried to finish the puzzle on my own but I probably would've gotten frustrated and not finished the game. The way the constellations light up at the end is really cool so I wanted to see those through to the end. Nice work!

Interesting mechanics. However, I think there are some elements that make it less interesting. By the length it's mostly quite easy to figure out which stars to connect. Furthermore, I think the controls turning green when they are correct helps too much and makes it less interesting.
I really love the concept of this game, but not loving the controls. It's like it flips from over to under sensitive. I also had the issue where to get the right angle, my mouse would have to be off the screen. But beyond that, the game is very solid. There is a bit of guess and check going on, but for a compo there's a lot of content. It would actually be great to see level selection and game saves added.
Visually it's very pleasant. UI is also nice and clean. Audio is simple, but works well.
Fantastic job for 48 hours!
Interesting mechanic! I don't think I've seen something like it before. I do think that the number of puzzle 'verbs' could have been increased, as I only saw the "distance" and the "loop" controls. Having more verbs, or having nodes that interact differently with the two different verbs (say, a star type that doubles the length of the basic "distance" verb) would have upped the puzzle factor a good bit. Good job for 48 hours, for sure.
The puzzles seem very sophisticated as if designing the levels was the most time consuming part instead of the game mechanics :D But I didnt see why I always needed to click on the singularity at first. Also some other baclground music would be good since the monotone background hum kind of mesmerized me. I sat for a while and solved all 21 levels, very challenging. Great game nonetheless!!
I really loved this game! It has a super cool mechanic that is very unique and executed extremely well. The puzzles are difficult (I got stuck around 13), and the mood is really cool. Awesome job, and I can't wait to see where this game goes in the future!

Took me several minutes to figure out the controls. But others were raving about the gameplay so I decided to push through and try to figure it out. Once you "get" the controls it's really rather intuitive, but when you're staring at a black screen that doesn't do anything it's really frustrating. That being said, once I figured it out, I really enjoyed the gameplay. The puzzles were interesting, and the UI is actually quite helpful in helping you understand when you've gotten each step correct. I also appreciate the leniency in how close I had to be to have it considered correct. Pretty solid game. With some better on-boarding, it could be quite something. Even so, I've played it longer than any other jam game so far.
Made it to level 14. Cool concept, the level titles are very helpful! Without them the puzzles seem kinda guess-and-checky, but there is some deduction that can be done. Good job!

Fun game! Really unique, not like something I've seen before. Some levels took me a bit to get but overall a pretty enjoyable experience. The graphics and music was a bit meh, but they did the job. Good entry! :)
Played until level 14! This was a pretty interesting concept with some neat visuals which could really be a lot better with some quality of life improvements. A lot of my other feedback has already been noted so I'll leave it at that. Nice job!

Pretty fractals and satisfying level-complete animation. And nice work on designing 20 levels for it.
But it devolved into guess and check for most of the levels. Swapping added more possibilities though.
Reminded me of [Blek](http://blekgame.com/).

Really unique! I like the audio too. I feel this would work well on mobile
This is a really clever little puzzle game! And, a lot of content, too!
The controls felt a little awkward at first, but, by the level 4 or 5 I got used to it. All in all quite enjoyable.

Really unique gameplay, those moving starts create nice visual effects. If i have to point something out, some transitions, and option to look at those flying stars for a little longer :)
The maths greet with joy!
