Pretty nice game! Really like the interpretation of the theme. Even when invisible I could feel where I am currently thanks to the camera. The visuals look very nice and the music is pleasant. Unfortunately, the movement feels pretty weird and / or is buggy. I guess maybe your ground check distance is just too low, because 50% of all jumps where not registered, which was really frustrating. I played until the last level, but gave up on this one after a dozen of tries. Still quite enjoyed it, but without this bug it would just be soooo much better!
PS: The signposts look like little faces (with huge eyebrows though) which I really liked :)

@erkberg Thank you for your review! I agree something on the controls is not correct. I tried to fix it, but I somehow just cant find it out. :D

Cool game, I liked the idea. The main character does not fit into the style a bit. There is a trick - the mouse cursor helps you find out where you are.
The jumping was a bit hard, but the idea was pretty good and original and also pretty good song

Interesting concept. But it's a bit too hard with current controls.

Regarding style: I really like the graphical style you got going there! I am a bit disappointed Mr. Something doesn not really fit in there. But it's nor big deal of course :) The music is super pleasing and sets a great mood :) The physics sadly don't work as predictably as one would hope in game with an invisible protagonist. I got stuck on slopes a lot or my jumps would not register appropriately. Still, the base idea and atmosphere were charming enough for me to see through it :) Nice little game.
While the mechanics are creative and really fitting on the theme they also are annoying. I rage quitted it in the spikes level. I found the controls a bit unresponsive as well, maybe the delay between pressing the key and performing the action degrades a little here where you got to do precise movements without really see the character.
On the other hand the sounds are really well done on this entry, and kind of helpful as you cant see the character. The graphics could be a little more polished to fit the quality of the sound, but is understandable given the strict time constraint of the compo.
By the way, congrats on finishing the compo. You made it bro!

Like the concept. Really hits the theme, well done
I had two challenges! The first was, when he's invisible, movement is very difficult. Unlike @odeyalko my movement did not match up to my cursor and because the camera has easing (slowly moves to your position) it gives the sense of a lack of control. Maybe if the camera was fixed on my characters position that would feel nicer - but make the game easier.
The second issue was I fell through the floor when making a jump near the end of the second to last level. I just restarted the level with R and it didn't happen the next time. Probably just a collision detection issue with the speed I was moving. Continuous Collision Detection would help with this.
Background music was nice and ambient and I liked your vocal sound effects. I made it bro!

Very cool concept, definitely hits the theme close to home. I feel like the controls were a little floaty, and sometimes when I would jump it wouldn't respond, which got very frustrating when that forced me to restart.

Great concept! I really liked your interpretation of the theme. Levels were nicely paced, and I loved the music track.
The main thing to improve would be the controls (to be fair, they can be a nightmare to get right ). Even if it was relatively easy to infer your position, movement was a bit too floaty and led to some unnecessary repetition.
In general it all felt really solid (well, except the poor main character, who was nothing most of the time :D) You packed a lot of content in a compo entry, I'm amazed.
Well done!
PS: I made it to the last level but fell on the left side (don't ask :expressionless:). There was the restart option, but it would be nice if in those circumstances there was a bottom limit that autorestarted.

@Odeyalko Thx for playing my game. Yes its true, the originally character was made in vector graphics. Then I started to use asesprite **in middle of the compo** for the first time in my life. Maybe it was not the best idea, but I just had the feeling now has the time come for **pixel art**.
@DeusAriel, @sigod Thank you both for your reviews. I agree, the controls are the weak side of the game. DeusAriel, but I am happy hear you liked the song.
@purrseus Thanks a lot! It was my first time starting with **pixel art**. I trained weeks before with Blender and in the in the compo I completely changed my way. :smirk: But with pixel art I just could create more levels on an easier way. And in the end it worked! I created 6 levels very fast and on an easy way.
@derek-volker Thank you for open and honest feedback. I guess you raged quit where the first time the spikes appear? Yes that is one of the hardest parts in the game. If the controls would have been better, I think it would be a better compensation to continue the game. I had the feeling that my sounds where a lot worse then the graphics. That's interesting! If I maybe would have reduced the organic pattern in my graphics, it would maybe been easier. **Thanks a lot bro!**
@Kazatan Thank you very much **sir**! The tip with the *Continuous Collision Detection* is really good. I did a big mistake not to configure it. This could also be one of the problems why the controls feels so bad. I tried to fix the controls, but I didn't just see why. **You are my bro master!**
@Bip Thank you for your precious time playing my game. Your comment is the truth! What is a game without decent controls?! The connection to your gaming soul cannot be established.
@Ithildin I am glad to read your review! It makes me happy you liked the soundtrack! But Crazy, I taught it would be impossible to fell down on the left side. I build all the levels like that, so I would not have to care about that edge case. Haha, I am really impressed. **You really made it bro!**

Now that's what I call "A good idea"! It is very innovative and the graphics look astonishing! Well done!
pretty interesting theme usage) also nice soundtrack. As said before jump controls are broken, so game became much harder than it should be.
The game is a lot of fun! I love the concept and the challenge that comes with it. Few things I noticed was the jumping would sometimes not register, I'd hear the jump sound but the character doesn't jump at all. firefox_2019-10-21_17-17-13.png Also I somehow managed to die and beat the level haha

Nice game with very beautiful graphics (only the player doesn't fit that well I'd say). I like the idea as well. Only downside, at least for me, is that the controls were a bit "floaty", so it was sometimes frustrating to jump. But overall a very solid entry with sound and all :)

@yonman Thanks for your comment and playing my game!
@captandrey Thx for posting the screenshoot, you really made it on the finishline bro!
@rplnt If I only would have started with the pixel art directly, the character would have the same style.

Neat concept. I included it in my Ludum Dare 45 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/98_o2aOM-SQ
