Cool idea, love the art and mood.
This game has so much content I tried to exhaust all the options, eventually i realized that the picture on the wall changed and the music started to get wonky. my kind of game. interesting concept and innocent gameplay loop on the outside, but deep in reality. jokes aside, while some parts of the dialogues are funny, its actually kind of sad an unsettling, its like dark humor. Very well done.
Great Idea, great art and mood! The Gameplay feels really slow to play.
I felt like the gameplay loop was a bit slow, but it was enjoyable and the jokes are really good :) Time to give a good humor rating.
Very cool :)
Very clever idea and well executed. Loved the art and mood.
Cool idea. I must be the worst psychologist ever ._.
I think I literally always got the wrong answer 😂 good fun though, enjoyed reading all the whacky dialog of the patients. I was impressed at how many different situations there were, and how subtly the painting / music changes as you continuingly get it wrong (at least in my case). Encouraging!
Big mood. I tried my best, but sometimes our best is not enough T_T The whole state/transition system is fantastic, seriously, the atmosphere here is palpable. The writing was witty, too!
This is a really neat concept for a game - vicarious trauma is a real occupational hazard for people in social work. So even though the tone is a dark sort of humour, it can get you thinking about that kind of thing.
I was a little disappointed that there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what response I gave would get a positive reaction - maybe that's a larger statement about providing therapy, but as a player I was hoping to have some idea what the 'right' answer would be.
I think the idle animation of the player is supposed to be a restless pensiveness, but they were fidgeting so much I couldn't help but think they had to go to the bathroom. Maybe a pause between changing poses would help mitigate that.
Using the portrait to show the player's health is a great way of showing their state. Because it's so subjective, the player doesn't know exactly how bad their state is, just that it's not good or quite bad - and that can increase the tension. The corruption of the soundtrack was also a neat addition, I love seeing that in games!
Cool concept. I did feel like the choices I made for the responses didn't make any difference, apart from "judgemental" being universally poorly received. Maybe having to balance your reputation with your mental state might make it a more engaging game, where each option will change them based on the patient's reaction (with some indication up front about how the patient is likely to receive it). However, using the portrait to provide a rough idea of the player's mental state was a nice touch. Good work.
Loved the portrait altering and offbeat dialogue of the game. Good execution of the idea. I now know that I could never make it as a psychologist, at least not with these clients!
I'm a terrible person. Or so they all said
I didn't find the gameplay very fun, the humor came through a little flat. the art is pretty good but i would have liked to see more animation and subtlety to the character
Loved the art style and music. Set the atmosphere great and was pleasing to look at. I like the dialogue from the patients but doesnt feel like my advice impacts much of what they say. Really like the portrait mechanic as player's sanity changes! I think the animation for picking up the phone could be a bit faster too since player is answering it so often. Overal enjoyed this game!
Very nice concept. I thought I had it figured out, only to get it wrong the next time. Once or twice I could answer the phone without it ringing, but that's nothing serious. Or is it? *Looks at painting*
I loved a lot the art style (specially the Character model and the portrait art!) the idea is very unique with the changes in your psiche being reflected in the portrait and the amount of content you putted in the game is a loooooot. Be proud of your entry guys, it's a very good one :)
Unique idea and I enjoyed the writing!
The situations presented are really funny, and I'm sure I didn't see all haha
The art style is nice, soundtrack fits very well the game, I just think it should fade out instead of abruptly stopping when the phone rings.
The gameplay loop is simple, but I wish there was some way of knowing if some answer is "more right" than others, if it impacts the player at all.
Good job!
As a few others have said, I enjoyed the game, with my only real criticism being that I don't know how 'correct' an answer was. I liked how the picture represented the current mood, which was a cool idea.
Wow. I really liked it, maybe because I like psychology and drama :)
The idea is great. The dialogue is well done, the style is consistent, the animation is a little lame, but it looks good in such a short time. If you do not pay attention to small details, then everything is cool.
Great game. Very interesting idea of the authors. Enjoed it
I like jokes and idea, but i want to see end game or score counter... maybe health asotiation can break in the door! and kick your ass from your chair)
Sheeeesh!
The game is super, I like the atmosphere!)
Oh wow very creative idea!! I love concepts like this, congrats to the team for such a cool game!
Really interesting concept ! The portrait representing your mental health was a fantastic idea. I just found it a bit weird that the music goes off when you're on the phone, It made the transition a little awkward, but that's personnal ! Congrats to you !
Very funny! I had no clue what anyone wanted, the 3d models and art are designed very well. (:
Oh, I really want to play this! Will there be a web version?
The entitlement of the caller... telling me to go burn in hell when I am understanding that they'd rather have a bottle of wine than coming in for a session with me... I don't understand...
I will file a coplain with health organization!
Great! I found the idea and the concept very interesting, I think the sound and music are very good as well as the art. Undoubtedly the picture with the portrait of the psychologist is the best xD great job!
Interesting game! I wish there was more audio though and perhaps some sample answers for the Psychologist? Overall great game for the jam!

I think you left before I played this on stream but it's in the vod
Yeeeee that was strange. "Mr. Psychologist" hahahahahaha. Clearly, he's no Dr. with all his bad advice. Love the art style and graphics.
Like the writing, laughed multiple times when playing the game. Good job.
I quite like the idea an the atmosphere, but sadly the game feels kinda repetitive. I think first alterations to the portrait should appear earlier, because it's hard to know the point of the game as of right now, without reading the description. Also, it's a bit hard for me to determine the good answer (maybe I am just a psychopath though).
Anyway, I think this could have some great potential if you add more interactions and more events happening, in addition to the telephone ringing!
I understand that I'm not even a little psychologist after this game. ^^
Cool idea with the portrait, I really like it.
Like the idea! Funny calls! Nice room and animations! The game itself is a bit weird and aimless, but I guess that's just how the life of a psychilogist looks like. GJ.

The art style was good. It has funny bits that makes the game interesting.
I enjoyed the things people called in about, but I was very confused by their reactions to my responses. I wasn't really able to figure out the "right" things to say. For the most part, I was getting negative reactions. I really tried to give a good response but I just didn't understand. I think it would have been clearer if each post it had a tailored response on it. Encouraging, judgmental, understanding, and evaluating just felt too vague from my viewpoint.
I know the ending is supposed to be inevitable, but I didn't feel like I had any control. As a player, it's not fun when I feel like I have no control.
The art was really cool though! And the song was nice to listen to throughout the game.
A very fun premise! I also loved the doc and the 2D portrait of him :D
The cases were really fun (I played like 10 mins and had a new one all the time), however, most of the time it wasn't very obvious which would be the right choice. You clearly are creative and fun, I would have liked if there we're also answers for each call (like in little brackets under the options or something, can be short like they do it in fallout for example :))
Other than that, I like what you did, would be also fun to add stuff to do in the doc's office :))
congrats on finishing your game :)
i really like the atmosphere you created here, with the music and shifting portrait visuals, and the loneliness of this old man in his office, i just wish the gameplay felt less random.
if you're going for true immersion into the role, then maybe the answers can be more obviously right or wrong, and more obviously connected to the narrative.
or you could make it less about reading into the individual caller's stories, and more "gamey", like have one or two key words in the text that are colored red/blue/yellow/green and it's more about matching the colors, with some kind of time limit.
Fun game with rather funny dialogue between you and the client.
Really like that the music and the potrait change as the psychologist mental health deteriorate. Though the gameplay sometimes felt boring in some cases, but overall it's a nice and cool looking game :v
