Graphics and gameplay worked well, especially the water in the background. The music was nautical but the loud sound effects were not my favourite part of this game.

I liked this game. The first level was a little hard and I think that the wolves ran away quicker the faster the dog was? That could have been explained if that is true. The art and music were well done and the concept was unique.
It was quite slow-paced but the art was effective and I liked the satisfying sound effects. It could probably be improved with more obstacles or mechanics. But overall it aws
Wow. Really fun and the calming music contrasts with what you would expect from a traffic jam. Great game.
Great game, easy to remember the controls but hard to make them work as you want them to. Maybe some kind of story or image at the bottom would make it more obvious that you shouldn't let the monsters there. I originally thought I just had to survive. The music and sound effects were perfect though.
Smooth controls that worked perfectly. Nice game.
Good twist on the theme and I thought the maps were well designed.
Simple but well executed. A good interpretation of the theme and the visuals and audio work well together.
Great concept for a puzzle game and a nice character design. I loved the sound the frog made when it went up a step. Nice job.
This is my favourite game of the jam. Are you going to make a full game out of it? One of my favourite parts was the music.
The achievements were cool, something I haven't seen yet. The concept fit the theme and the game was fun enough for me to play a few times. It would have been cool if there was an animation, sound effect or particle effect when a creature was hit.
The explosions felt like they had a lot of impact and the weapons were pretty inventive. The start screen was really detailed as well. The only thing I could think of to possibly improve would be more control or more difficulty because at the moment it feels like every player would play in the same way and probably win. But I played it all the way through and I was disappointed when it ended because it was a lot of fun.
I wasn't too sure how or where to start fishing but I did eventually play the minigame which was pretty fun. The chopping down the tree minigame was something I hadn't seen before and overall I had fun.
This was a fun game, I didn't mind the pictogram instructions but they could be condensed. I would have liked it if some of the weapons stayed for longer, like the lava. But the pop sound effect was addictive and I played through a few times. My high score was 525.
Cool idea. Good interpretation of the theme.
Although I think less accurate enemies would be more fun. This game was pretty fun with the different spaceships. A minimap or something to tell you where the escape pods were would be good too, there is a countdown but you can't control how fast you find the escape pods.
The music, effects and lighting made a kind of fantastical, eerie atmosphere and the sound effects were fitting. It got a little repetitive towards the end and there were a few bugs like the first block being half off screen and sometimes my blocks were clickable when it was the enemy's turn. It was a pretty good idea and facing an endless stream of wizards with random spells would make for a great game with more time to improve graphics or even adding more spells or giving them more exciting names.
Fairly well made, the power-ups were cool. Being able to hit the ball with the sides of the bumper would have been cool, but overall it was surprisingly tense and fun.
The 3D graphics were cool and I liked the spider sound effects. This game had some good features.
This game was well polished and really fun. High Score: 3650. Quite difficult at first, maybe the tutorial could include enemies or the faster enemies only spawn later in the game. The jump sounds were also a stand-out feature as well as the multiple maps.
Not too sure what dilating time is or what collecting shoes does. It seems like it speeds up the player and increases the amount of time you have. Regardless, the music and level design were really good. The colours were also well picked and fit the art style.
Would make for a good mobile game. There was a nice range of minigames and it fit the theme well.
Compelling idea that was fun and tense. Well done.
The music and sound effects are good and don't distract from the gameplay, the three-ish levels I played were fun and I would've continued if my pinky finger muscles were stronger. The controls are a little difficult to use as others have said but everything else is nearly perfect.
Nice idea that's well implemented with lots of options. I kept playing it so it must be fun and I think that all the features worked well. Aside from not being able to pick who to talk to, I also didn't love the music during the game but I did like the title screen music.
@lantto @mgear Yes! You are both right the instructions should be written down somewhere, when the rating finishes I will edit the itch.io page, thank you for the feedback.
To be honest I couldn't get my colony above 5, so I'm impressed you got 6. I did change the amount of food the blue bacteria needs to multiply from 3 to 2 just before I submitted it but after the competition I might increase the food available or decrease that number from 2 to 1.
As for strategies, the bacteria move randomly so the blue laser is the best way to move them into food, especially on a larger setting. But if you mean general strategies the only interesting one I can think of is using the blue laser to move enemy bacteria into other enemy bacteria to destroy them.
Thank you both for playing.
@sir-syko Those comments are fair. Thank you for playing. 🙂
Entertaining for a few plays with nice, stylised graphics. It was a new concept to me and the lava spreading worked well. The randomness of where trees spawned was a little frustrating when the weren't in the right place to block the lava, but that also made it fun and 'inevitable' that you would lose.
