Good game! Are you singing the background music by yourself? Snipaste_2024-04-15_12-11-23.png

Fun puzzle game! I don't think I've come across this particular variation of sokoban-style puzzling yet. Very nice!

Woah! What a clever mechanic! I'm really glad you let this simple sightline mechanism breathe. It really feels like a tool that other designers should adopt for their puzzle games. I had fun with each level - loved the devilish simplicity of lvl6, that one took me the most by far. Really intriguing game. And same question as @justuspan haha - thats you singing? Lovely voice!

paprigames 2024-04-15 15:23

That was fun! Simple and easy to grasp, but challenging at some points of the game. Especially level 6 felt like it should've been the last level :P Including the level editor was a really nice extra. Great work!

I loved this - reminds me of Kye: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kye_(video_game)

I got stuck on level 6 and had to skip it - I agree with PapriGames that it should have been the last level because it was by far the toughest.

Including a level editor is truly above-and-beyond effort for a compo entry. Nice work!

(PS: Bummer about the antivirus warning - my game does that as well.)

Love this- a really nice simple concept executed well. I really dig the music too! My only suggestion for improvement would be to add some kind of victory screen between levels- right now it just jumps to the next level immediately. It would also probably aid in the experience to see the eyes move to your position, even if it happens very quickly after your step. It would make it more clear which eye is moving and from where.

tata 2024-04-16 00:50

I like how simple and evolving is the objective to transport the eyes to the portals. Very smart!

I really liked the puzzle mechanic. I don't remember line of sight mechanics utilized like that before, but it seems so obvious! And it fits the theme very well.

The game could use some polish: an undo button, a level select screen (and an ability to skip levels for people who got stuck) and some eye candy. But the game is fine as is! I really appreciate the addition of the level editor, too.

I played through the entire game, I would reorder some levels because the last few were very easy, but it's okay. Great job!

A neat little puzzle game that can be pretty tricky. I think an undo/redo system would be a good future addition since you can get soft locked on some of the puzzles. Very fun though.

Simple but fun little game. Like a box pushing puzzle game but with a twist: you "summon" eyes instead of pushing/pulling boxes/whatever. I enjoyed it, good job! :)

Kudos for the music! The gameplay is quite interesting, but you have to wait a bit before it reveals itself. the graphics gave me an attack of inexplicable nostalgia.

Nice game! It got really challenging at one point

wilsk 2024-04-17 12:14

Nice work, what a unique mechanic. The music was very loud for me, but cool.

alex-mulkerrin 2024-04-17 18:57

Very novel puzzle concept which works well to make challenging levels. The monastic singing really sets the mood and having a level editor built in is impressive for a compo game. Great!

velvetlobster 2024-04-17 20:20

maaaan this portuguese music is hella intriguing what is that? we happen to be brazilian so we can understand it wow very intriguing your choice for this

velvetlobster 2024-04-17 20:21

btw I finally understood how the puzzle works, its like an inversion of the pushing brick type of puzzle, very clever

magik8bal 2024-04-17 20:55

Cool game mechanic with well-designed levels that can get quite difficult. Impressive that you also made a level editor. Nice job!

magnusfurcifer 2024-04-18 00:38

I don't think I've played a game with this specific type of puzzle before, it's interesting and quite challenging!

loveapplegames 2024-04-20 19:59

A very original take on soko-ban! I enjoyed the levels, they were challenging but not too difficult. Presentation is very basic but fine for such a puzzle game.

crocidb 2024-04-26 11:50

Such a cool concept, i love the mechanics and the levels. But nothing is as good as the music, It's so weird, I LOVE IT! Good job!
