The concept is neat, but I never got any missions. Also the music stops after a minute or so.

As a fan of Factorio, this game was pretty fun. I found it a little confusing at the start, but after a few tries I figured it out. I would love to see this idea fleshed out with more parts.
Cool concept, it's like asteroids but they fight back. I couldn't move forward when playing with keyboard controls. Also for some reason, turning with controller is much faster than with arrow keys. Other than those issues, it was pretty fun. Those bullet enemies are very brutal. Autofire would be a great addition too.
I like the idea, but I found it odd that the ship moved slower vertically at speed 3 than it did at speed 1, maybe this was a bug? This made it next to impossible to catch the debris and if you move slower than you won't make it in time. I think the game is supposed to be fast paced, so maybe also consider making the player move faster. Liked the slimes though.
A nice idea but I found the controls to be a bit frustrating, especially the shooting down to jump. The shooting as well was a bit hard to use. Maybe you could make it so the the mouse aims and make the bullets last a lot longer? The enemies were quite spongy too. I liked the idea of having a very small inventory but if the crafting requirements were reduced and your movement speed was faster then I think the grinding wouldn't be so bad.
A neat puzzle game. The pieces should definitely move faster and it should reset when you fail. Also felt like there was a lot of input lag on the buttons and sometimes they wouldn't press. The music also stopped playing part way through. Overall a good foundation though.
Looks like we had similar ideas! I like the different cargo types. The controls, specifically rotation, felt a little strange though.
Pretty solid little game. Controls felt pretty smooth. I did find the gameplay time to be quite short though.
Great game! Feels a lot like a flash game I could have played years ago. The intro was a nice touch. One possible suggestion would be to make the objectives update based on your progress loading/unloading, and maybe make it always visible too.
Cool game. The sound was a bit much though. Maybe you could also make it a bit more obvious which satellites are about to collide?
Very fun, definitely feels like a flash game. Enemy car AI is pretty solid, they love driving in front of you or creating a huge pile up. The leaderboard is a nice touch.
An neat concept. I found the navigation a little confusing and the issues other people have mentioned were a bit distracting, but it's nice to see a text adventure game.
Decent idea but maybe make it so that enemies can't spawn on you. The system error thing is also kind of annoying since it always happens and makes it very hard to move. Also I died without touching anything so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
An interesting concept, like others have said it's very hard mainly because of the perspective. If there is a path on the side that is invisible, you won't know it's there and will just walk right past it. Maybe there is something you could do, like highlight the opposing wall or something to let players know they can turn there.
The lighting is cool. I played for a few minutes and didn't find any enemies, maybe I misunderstood and they aren't in the game? If you are thinking about continuing work on this, I'd suggesting increasing the radius of light around your player and maybe making it so your wand recharges over time. You could make a great arena battler out of this!
Pretty solid game! Not sure I'm a huge fan of the bomb mechanic since you just have to wait them out but other than that it was quite fun.
Simple yet quite fun. The movement felt pretty smooth. A great foundation if you wanted to add more levels and obstacles.
Honestly one of the best games in the jam. The puzzles are difficult but not too frustrating, and the progression is done well. The extra objectives were a little confusing at first, but it's not that hard to figure out the requirements. The game fits the theme nicely and the presentation is smooth. It would be a shame if this wasn't expanded into a full game.
Cool concept but I found it hard to distinguish the background from everything else. Also a reset level button might be a nice feature. Other than that it seemed pretty solid.
@anciententity Thanks! I think the perspective issue you found is caused by some shapes being incorrectly centered when you pick them up, that's a bug we didn't get to fix.
@onsson Thanks for giving it a try!
@lexyvil We did consider a restart button but decided to go for the cargo remaining screen instead. Thanks for playing it!
@broondoon The pacing could definitely be improved, we were thinking of balancing the time for each level but ran out of time ourselves. Also, we wanted to have some of the levels have pre-placed obstacles that you would have to work around. Thanks for trying it!
@nuin Thanks for playing it! I really loved your game, it's probably my favourite I've seen so far!
@blinyadebil Thanks!
Nice game but I couldn't figure out how to place more than 1 tower or how upgrades work. Keep at it and you might have the next Bloons (Trtles?)
An interesting concept. I found it starts out very hard and doesn't give you much time to get used to the mechanics. There are so many large enemies that they quickly overwhelm you because your shooting is hard to control. The web player is also very small and I couldn't figure out how to full screen, so that made it hard to see what was going on. I think it could be a neat arena battler though if you continued to improve it.
Starts out very easy and gets a little harder in the later levels. The game closing after you lose is unfortunate and makes it a lot harder to play. I think the squash following the mouse instantly makes it a bit too easy, maybe give it a bit of acceleration or something to make it harder?
I found the controls a bit frustrating at first and a jump would've been nice. I think it's an interesting idea though, and is a good take on the theme!
Really good presentation! I did find the game a bit tedious after a while, since it takes a while to dig and there really isn't any logic involved to matching, it's more trial and error. I also think the camera could just follow the player instead of locking to specific regions. Great work!
A nice take on the survivors genre. One thing I found a bit difficult was building up my army, and I think the main reason is your attack range is quite small. Maybe increasing it a bit would help with getting the starting forces going. I also really like the art style!
The game won't run for me. It just closes immediately as soon as I open it.
Cool take on the theme! I did find it a bit difficult to tell the circuit and non circuit paths apart at first.
A simple but interesting puzzle game. Not sure if it really fits the theme, but a nice game nonetheless.
@lonelygamedev @morepixels @james-greenleaf @hsg-gringo Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!
I just updated the game to fix the lag issues and added a spellbook so you don't need to remember all the combinations. I just ran out of time at the end to add it. I would've also liked to have more levels that showcased each of the summons better, but again ran out of time and had to put the remaining ones in the last room. This was my first solo jam, and I think I ended up planning out the game like I had more team members, so a lot of things got cut at the end. A great learning experience though!
I did take a lot of inspiration from Gauntlet, I'm glad people picked up on that!
A nice concept that could be easily expanded into a full game! The greyscale graphics also enhance the light vs dark feel, so I think it worked out well.
Very fun game. I liked that you could call the waves early, and the overall presentation was great for a game jam. The summoning controls took a bit of getting used to, and I wonder if they could be changed somehow to be easier to use during the waves as things get a bit chaotic.
Fun game! I liked the obstacles that let you change the path of the incoming ants. I wish they were a little more durable as I found they would easily break when I was trying to position them. Great concept and fits the theme perfectly!
Nice graphics and presentation! I liked the feeling of pressure as the light closes in around you. I did find the controls a bit clunky not having diagonal movement though.
Great job with the atmosphere! I managed to make it to the end, and I think if you wanted to continue working on this you could easily expand it to other liminal spaces!
Neat idea, but pretty challenging. I'm not sure how you clear some of the sentences, and maybe it would be nice to have some words you can store for later use.
Nice game, and an interesting take on the theme! Definitely had a few laughs from this. I did find the menus a bit hard to read because of the resolution and the camera would sometimes make the top option be off screen.
Really solid entry! I ended up playing for a while until I got all the money, definitely a lot of fun. Some future things you could add would be some more things to do in between collecting resources and fighting enemies, such as smelting the ore or collecting resources above ground, and of course more upgrades to work towards (not feasible for a jam, but if you wanted to continue working on it). Also nice that everything was made from scratch!
Like others, I also had pretty serious FPS issues after playing for a bit on Windows. I like the idea for the game, and think if instead of your hunger going down with time, it went down when you mined, it would be a bit more fun. Cool that you made you own engine for this!
@sicosiber Thanks! This was my first time doing mostly art for a jam, and it was a lot of fun!
@ricesteam Thanks for playing! Would you mind sharing where you got stuck? I would like to fix that.
