Hi! I think your itch page is not working rn!
the itch link leads to a 404 :(
The itch.io link is a 404, which might mean you forgot to take it off of private
@foursay, @themixedmaster, @mduo13 Thank you for letting me know! I think I've got it fixed now! (I did indeed forgot to take it off draft XD)
Snipaste_2023-10-03_22-49-58.png @addaellis You may want to check this ;)
neat concept but it seems to be broken.
Interesting concept but it would sadly seem to currently be too broken to be playable which is a real shame as I want to see the story. The main issues are the debug menu and the fact that the page doesn't scroll, because of this I am unable to read the text that's offscreen or click the buttons. I would love to see a more playable version though.

Game seems to not work but id love to read the whole story
@foursay, @panda-king-976 thank you for pointing these out! I think I got the debug menu to stop, and a few of the errors, but am not sure how to fix the scrolling >.<"
@addaellis please let me know if you fix the scrolling.
An neat concept. I found the navigation a little confusing and the issues other people have mentioned were a bit distracting, but it's nice to see a text adventure game.
@panda-king-976 Got the scrolling! Thank you!
There's definitely still a few pesky errors :sob: but scrolling should allow things to be read at least!
@addaellis The story is nice and I'm glad you got it working.
I did finish the game ^^ {You push against the door, and the door opens! Hey! It worked! You got out! Congrats! Thanks for playing <3} I think it was really nice, and I felt the atmosphere of confusion that I personally found delightful. Like the character was lost, and I also felt lost, like wandering around confused and looking around. You did great on creating that tbh! Everything worked fine and I didn't have any problems reading the text. I like how you expressed your feelings about this Game Jam in your game :)
I definitely had a nice time with this game, and it was short and sweet, but left an impression.
About Twine: I started using Twine 2 (it seems you used that as well) on the 1st day of the Jam but slowly realized it doesn't work for me. So I switched to Twine 1.4.2 - the older version, but it is much more convenient for adding pictures and music. Twine 2 seems to be super unfit for that. But I think your story didn't really need pictures, it worked great w/o them. Maybe adding some sounds (ambient?) or music would be nice though :)
Nice!
It's refreshing to play a text-based adventure! I like how the room changes while you move. I thought I explored everything but still couldn't find the exit so maybe there is something I missed. I did spend a while sleeping just to see all the different messages haha
You could put a cover on the page. I don't understand English well so I couldn't really understand.
Fun and sweet I enjoyed it!
Neat little game. Short and sweet, I ended up escaping!
I sleeped for over a week 10/10 :D
Loved the story and the ambience, well done! :)
Unfortunately bird does not want to talk with me. :(
@asfdfdfd At the bookcase there's a birdbook! taking that will make the bird talk to you :) Thank you for playing!
I really like games like this and I had a good time. It's so nice to play something that intentionally makes you use your imagination.
Really nice writing. It was accessible and easy to read but also had some nice moments in it, like "It smells like confusion and a little desperation."
My one idea for constructive criticism- I felt a little bit lost at times. It's probably my fault as I read through pretty quickly.
Great job!
What an interesting game! I had a great time with this one ^^ Nice job :)
I think you got mood and humor both on point! The limited space being everchanging is a nice take too.
