I did not understand where the blocks should go? But i passed 1 level i think? Gameplay is good I just did not get what I needed to do to open doors

Well, I sat down to give it a quick play and ended up playing to the end - so that's a win. Nicely paced, never spent too long on any one puzzle, even if at first glance some seemed quite intimidating. The visuals and audio are workmanlike and did what they needed. Doesn't really fit the theme, but you joke about that at the end so i think you know that. I suspect the top door is generating new levels? Pretty impressive if so. Nice job!

Fantastic. I was about to give up on the last room, but I made it. Doesn't fit the theme, but very enjoyable to play and complete. The rules for the blocks were very nice, and 2 times I thought I understood them but didn't, and had to backtrack to play around a while.

Very nice, thank you for sharing!!

This is quite an interesting puzzlescript idea. Having all the mechanics be reversible and still managing to construct interesting puzzles out of them is a cool trick! I appreciated the variety in the three different mechanics and had fun discovering them, and then it was fun to figure out how the mechanics interacted with each other as well. And I'm not sure I've seen a puzzlescript game with procedural generation before, so that's cool.

Good game! It was really helpful to have the procedural puzzles available to experiment on when I was stuck (that red puzzle...).

Nice game! I got the rules pretty quickly, which was the most fun part (I like the extensions of the rules you need to make in the last two levels, I think). Also, very nice that you took the time to show generated levels after your talk! The levels I got were super easy, but having them is a good example of how this type of level could be framed and what feelings might create in the players. Some of the levels were a bit claustrophobic and were a bit tedious to execute, but apart from that I had a good time!

Cool game! Always fun to see what people make with puzzle script. Between figuring out the three different puzzle mechanics and solving the puzzles, I almost spend too long on it haha (I got 2 levels past the first place where the 3 mechanics were used together)

Really well put together levels - very effectively guides you through figuring out what the different rules are for everything.

Took me some time to understand the rules (I went direct to the north room!), but that was also the joy of it. Good job and interesting talk you gave about procedural puzzles!

I didn't catch the connection to the theme, but this is still an outstanding puzzle game. I particularly enjoyed the sense of discovery in the very first levels when you're not sure what you're supposed to do, but the game still makes you figure it out, the sense of discovery is a difficult one to evoke. Congrats!

I got stuck but could not restart for some reason. Anyway, I like the retro-graphics and the minimal audio — it hearkens to the days of the Atari 2600.

Sadly the game, like so many other puzzle games, is beyond my ken. However, its sheer simplicity is striking, and I love the aesthetics.

Very interesting. I didn't make an immediate connection between the shape implying the rules, but was able to figure it out. I'm glad there was a way out of The Eternal Suffering room first as they was the first thing I did seeing the text.

wendel-scardua 2024-04-29 16:23

I loved the different rules and the way the game teaches them :) (I got stuck at some point but playing on the Eternal Suffering room I think I learned the rule I need, I'll go back at it later - more exactly the interaction between blue and green blocks)

I should take a better look at Puzzlescript one of these days - I even thought about the possibility of porting Puzzlescript games to the NES but I fear the whole rules system is too much for me to implement 😅

A great entry with a good guessing the rule idea. A little hard, but ok. It should be better to have more levels to demostrate interactions between colors.

A simple but interesting puzzle game. Not sure if it really fits the theme, but a nice game nonetheless.
