The game does not load ;( sadly
I'd really like to play it, maybe you could also offer a windows version? :)
Unity WebGL stuck on loading screen
Sadly I have to agree with the others, the embedded player is not working in any of the browsers I tried. If you get it fixed or upload a standalone build let me know, I would love to try the game.
yes, doesnt seem to load
Doesn't seem to work for me either :(
Maybe try to upload it on itch.io?
Hey everyone, I was able to fix all the issues with my build and my graphics. Please give it a try!
I like the game! Very cute turtles :)
Cute game, and congrats on completing your first jam! I enjoyed the art and snappy SFX. I think if you were to keep working on the game, some indicators for information like tile prices, turtle tower range, etc would be nice! That information usually influences where I place towers.
Nice game but I couldn't figure out how to place more than 1 tower or how upgrades work. Keep at it and you might have the next Bloons (Trtles?)
I like the idea, but just like the previous commenter, I cannot place more than 1 turtle, that looks like bug. If you solve it, please ping me back
Ya ripped the Pokémon Go egg.
pretty decent for first jam, it's very slow, but they are turtles. its good
@majomirez @tomknocker44 You can unlock another tilespace in the shop (500), which then allows you to place another tower. If I'd continue work on this I would for sure add more visual cues to make all this more clear.
Always love a TD game! Seems pretty polished for a game jam as I know how fiendishly difficult TD games are to make!
Ok, I've been playing for a while now, and I noticed the cost of the turtles increases, first 500, then 1000, then 2000 (it doubles?), which makes the game slow, by now with 4 turtles it doesn't need any input from my part to finish the game. The game itself seems good, the only bug I found if the sharks get stuck in the corners sometimes, but they unstuck themselves after a while. I would add more enemies, and maybe the ability to change/upgrade turtles, and a speed up button (until the next wave at least)
Nice first gamejam game especially because you work alone. I see that you have opted out of art but still try to avoid copying assest from other games. I am mainly thinking about the pokemon egg. It is explained here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules. I am sure there is a free asset pack you could use that have eggs in it or maybe try drawing one. It does not have to be pretty. Continue attending gamejams and you will evolve as a game maker and learn alot. Good game! Good job!
Awesome first LDjam game, nice simple tower defense that's well made! It can be a little slow but honestly that's not a bad thing as it's a really chill and relaxed game. Fantastic effort, look forward to seeing more games down the line!
First game jam? Well done! Congratulation for making it, that's an awesome achievement! Now some feedbacks : since the waves of sharks are pretty slow, I would add a button to increase the time rate. Also, having just one turtle for the beginning is a bit boring. The systems seems to be working, you have the foundation for something that can be nice, but it needs more work to get the player to have a nice experience from the begginning. Good work overall!
I also could only place one turtle but enjoyed the sounds and overall gameplay.
