Honestly I enjoyed it more than I expected. It is weirdly satisfying to poke all those pests :D Gj with setting the feel of the game, feels close enough to the real picnic.

maybe it sounds strange but its really relaxing! love it
Great game! I wish I could maintain my rock defence a bit longer without it getting destroyed so easily by my own actions
It was sort of fun to play, however the hand floating above where i was aiming threw me off a bit and also when pushing the glass balls I think it should kill the multiple hit enemies in one hit as it takes time to aim and get it to the ants, other than that was quite good.
Squishing was ssuccessful
Simple design, simple gameplay - well implemented. The music adds atmosphere to the game and fits together very well.
A really nice game, even though a tad sadistic  I really like the core squish mechanic, but also the extra help strewn around the blanket helps deter the pests. Visuals and audio are also nice, tying it all up in a nice picnic package! :stuffed_flatbread:
Fun game! It's very nice that objects can be destroyed, but perhaps it's a bit too easy to accidentally destroy them with squishes? :D
Very satisfying to play, good squish sound :D We had a very similar idea in the beginning, so good to see someone actually implementing it! :D
Nice artwork, music and sounds!
Neat game! I would have reversed the controls (left-click to squish, S to pickup), but great job!
@sashunyar @shadowmitia Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the obstacles might be a bit too fragile. 😅 Where you able to get to the end screen after wave 10?
I enjoyed my time with this game. It's a really cute, fun little game! Awesome work!
Very relaxing game ngl 😆
As others have said, very relaxing. Good job
Hello everyone and thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I'm still in the process of rating all your games and a few others, but I'm almost done :p
@mikeya I guess we could've added swap the cursor for some target, the idea is the hand is above where you're about to squish!
@jelch I had a plan to make it all mouse controlled, Left click to squish, Right click to drag, and mouse wheel to rotate, but we lacked time D=
This is so satisfying. Not sure what that says about me as a person though 😆. The obstacles add some depth. I wish they weren't physically enabled while you are dragging them but I guess that adds to the challenge. This is really fun though. Well done!
Wow, so many options to fight the ants!
Cool game! I loved the start menu, very clear description of what to do. Not to wordy story (or whatever), and the fact that the whole thing was in front of me the same time (no pressing next) made me actually read through it. It hard to write stuff concise, but because it was, I read through the whole menu and actually knew what stuff did before I started the game.
I love the good feedback with sounds, cracks on damage stuff, animation of the hand. I never felt confused throughout the game. I also think showing the controls on the hand was really smart (but maybe they could have been removed after that action was performed a couple of times - but then again, scope).
I think that killing bugs with your finger worked well as a base game mechanic, but the marble was great! I actually think you could have leaned in into that a little bit more. Initially I tried to create traps with path blockers, apples and poison - but after a while I just used the marbles and pure finger power. I think the area around the marble were it picks up input could have been bigger. It was hard to orient properly because of the small space. I also think a small arrow it the direction it would head would have been nice.
One last suggestion I have would be to leave the bug corpses behind. Maybe also leave something like stone dust where stone used to be. I would be quite satisfying to see the result of the mayhem in the end and having the arena itself telling a story.
Great entry! Well done!
Fun game! I liked the obstacles that let you change the path of the incoming ants. I wish they were a little more durable as I found they would easily break when I was trying to position them. Great concept and fits the theme perfectly!
Nice kill ants game. I liked using the environment to block the ants. The different type of ants are good. Maybe change smashing the ants to clicking instead of 's'.
really fun idea and execution! the variety of ants is cool, everything object interacting and breaking added a lot to the simple smash ants gameplay! i wish there was like a target to see where the finger would be instead of the cursor but that's personal
Very cool game! Nice idea with all the objects you could drag and drop on the picnic blanket to redirect the ants. Well done!
I feel like I've played a game like this in real life)
I really enjoyed this game. It looks nice and has a good variety of things to interact with and bugs to squish. It would've been better if you could drag with right-click though.
Nice concept! It took me some time to realize the controls, but after that it got really funny. I liked that there are many different mechanics, in the game, we can even play snooker on it :D
@mrscom Yes! As a kid I would sometimes "play" with ants by putting sticks and stuff in front of them, to see how I could manipulate their path. I wanted to recreate that feeling in the game. :)
@bjornstenlund Thank you for all the good feedback! Yes, the idea was to have a big emphasis on making traps and stuff with path blockers, apples and poison like you say. And it does work, just that it was tricky to make it work well enough. 😅 With more time (and/or skill) we would have even more advanced levels and fine tuned mechanics and then designing clever traps would be essential.
I like your idea of leaving behind corpses and residue of all the broken obstacles. That would indeed be satisfyind and entertaining!
